Was craving papusas so I went out of my way to visit. Got the $13 Papusas plate which comes with 3 Papusas (I got.mixed but your choice), cordito (Salvadorian pickled slaw - think Kimchi without the heat or strong sour fermented tang) and a non spicy red sauce. Their sauce and cordito were refreshing. The star was the Papusas.these were the lightest and thinest skinned Papusas I ever had. Sometimes Papusas feel like stuffed thick tortillas. These are now my favorite Papusas in NorCal: I'll take there cheese Papusas over a quesadilla anyway of the week.

My brother is Salvadoran and so my family grew up eating pupusas. It’s become my favourite thing to try pupusas in every neighborhood I stay in while visiting the Bay Area. These ones were exceptional. I ordered a revueltas and a carne asada pupusa and when they were brought out they were very clearly freshly made, puffed up beautifully with a gorgeous sear on them. I was given a very decent amount of curdito and salsa, both of which were excellent. Everyone was so exceptionally nice and the restaurant itself was so clean and spacious. I enjoyed myself so much I actually came back an hour later and ordered more pupusas to take away for my next couple of meals. They were just as exceptional. You guys have created a very special place with wonderful food. I can’t wait to come back to Oakland to dine here again :)

Should've took photos of our beautiful meals but we all dug right in. So so good!!! Most beautiful plate of tacos I've ever seen. And my papusa was so yummy I wish I'd have been in town longer to have it again. Also staff was super friendly and helpful.

LOVE the people that work here, it almost feels like it MIGHT be family oriented. Only because everybody knows exactly what you do they speak to each other greet everybody they're always happy smiling and don't have to give nobody know directions it's like everything falls in place quickly... So to All The Great people & employees that work here thank you for your great customer service and for making us feel at home....

I walked in and got a HUGE smile, which automatically made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed my pupusa de frijol y de camaron. Great size and tasty. They do a good job with giving you enough curtido and salsa. Will be coming back. They said they have been around for 14 years and I wish them many more years. By the way, they keep bathroom clean, which is extra points in my book!

I ordered the Desayuno and one chicharron papusa via DoorDash. The desayuno was tasty and great. The papusa was more on the dry side but still tasty. I’ve definitely had better papusas but I would still order from here again.

We were looking for a good pupusa place and we found this restaurant, very delicious, I got the El Salvador plate and nicaragüense plate, amazing bananas, tamal. For sure if I am around I will visit the place again, i do recommend it.

Nice spot I never knew about with a vast menu of Central American food, even a Nicaraguan dish! Plenty of pupusa options for vegetarians too. The man behind the counter that attended us was very accommodating, attentive, curious and genuine. It was a pleasant lunch.

Tonight was the first time I ate here. The food was on point! We all ate pupusas. Asada, chicken, and pork. All three were hella good. The only lightweight bad thing about the food was... Well actually I can't even call it "a bad thing" about the food cause the food really was hella good! So let me re phrase what I'm tryna say... The only suggestion I would say that could make the food even better is, it would be tight if there was more meat inside the pupusas. There was still an okay amount of meat inside of them, but a little more wouldn't hurt. I picked up my order to go but I still had to go inside to pick up the food and the restaurant looked and smelled very clean. There wasn't very many workers still there by the time I picked up my food. ( I was fosho the last order to be picked up bc I was late. I got there at closing maybe a few mims after closing... But the workers that did help me, and talked with me were very nice and patient. The vibe of the restaurant was pretty chill. The location is hella convenient, and the parking situation wasn't bad at all. Over all I enjoyed my food so did my family and we will eat here again soon.

If you are in Oakland and want to experience good authentic Central American food is worth trying out this place ,the pupusas were really good, but is not the nicest place for seat down for a meal, my honest suggestion is to order delivery or pick up.

These are not salvadoreña pupusas . !!! The beans were Mexican fried beans mixed in . It was a weird plate of pupusas .

Ordered here for the 1st time and ended up being kind of disappointed. I had queso y frijoles pupusas, which were great but I also got a tres leche cake slice & horchata which were both not good. The tres leche was def expired,it tasted like chemicals with a weird smell & the horchata tasted like sugary milk w/ no cinnamon. For any future go-ers I suggest to only get pupusas and nothing else.

This was such bad food! I ordered something off the menu based on the many pictures they had on their walls. I asked the man working behind the counter if this option was available. What I received did not match the picture at all. I was given mystery meat, some mediocre rice and beans that were NOT Gallo pinto and the plantains look soggy and tasted odd! Never going back, I tried calling the restaurant and number was not available.

This place is awful food was cold. The female taking my payment refused to give me my order until l paid a $5 tip fee for using my debit card.

I ordered 2 sopas de pata and it was not good. It was missing yuca, güisquil and cabbage. Flavor was not the greatest and it was priced $22. The rice tasted weird and not sure why it came with the order. The only thing that was good was the hand made tortilla.

Please do not eat here! Absolutely the worst pupusas anywhere. Cheese was broken. Probably frozen then thawed . Horrible masa . The cheese was disgusting . The beans and chicharon absolutely disgusting. The pastel de carne was so salty and the filling was absolutely disgusting. Please close your restaurant and get out of the business. You are not eating your own food because if you were you would notiice how bad it is. Threw away my while meal.

NEVER order here if you want good Mexican food. They even ruined a simple chicken quesadilla. It has nothing but boiled/flavor less few pieces of chicken with lots of cheese. The quality of food flavor was very disappointing. Look at the picture. It looks so unappetizing. For flavor it only had cheese pretty much. Very disappointing food.
