SMACKS! By far the best pizza I’ve had in the Bay Area, California, and do I dare say my entire life? Once you try the Pizza Pantry, you’ll never go back to that cardboard pizza we’ve gotten use to. Treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself!

We got the Saturday Meat Pizza and greens side salad. It was perfect. The crust is amazing and the toppings are an awesome combo. We were new to the neighborhood and stopped in earlier in the day. The owner was super friendly. This will be are go to pizza place from now on.

Great pizza delivered on foot to the wine tasting spot nearby. TASTY! Edit: Came by again while waiting for the Amtrak train and the pepperoni pizza was as good as I remembered. 5⭐️

The Pizza Pantry's pizza and meat lasagna were staples of mine when I lived in JLS. Pizza is sold by the slice and each day a different meat offering, vegetarian offering, and cheese pizza is available. The price for a pie is a bit steep, but the quality of the ingredients is quite high, and the final product, is delicious. Well worth a visit!

Pizza's great. The owner is probably the friendliest guy I've ever met. I drove around trying to find this place for a good 20 mins because it doesn't pop up all the time on "find pizza near me" and I couldn't remember the name. Found it FINALLY and it was worth it.

First post ever. Try niche places on all my travels. I love bread. Had a whole write up on this crust and ingredients...just try it. Warm up of already made pizza..i was skeptical. Tried both on display. I'd lean toward veggy. cheeses and meats gets a little salty for me. If you have better near you...your blessed.

I am a huge fan of pizza, and this is without a doubt the best pizza I’ve had in a really long time, maybe ever. Don’t get me wrong, there are quality pies elsewhere too, but one bite into my first slice and I was hooked. The depth of flavor of the clearly fresh and high quality ingredients was insane. My fiancée couldn’t help but talk about the pizza and singing its praises as we ate it. The pepperoni pizza is truly amazing. It may be a little on the pricey side, but trust me it is worth it.

I cannot express how much I love this place. I am very lactose intolerant and can’t eat pizza. However, one drunken evening I stumbled into this place and tried some of the spicy pepperoni and cheese and I did not have a single reaction to it. All of the ingredients are imported and high quality, so my body didn’t react. I have gone back many times already.

I love pizza. I really, really love pizza...and i promise this story will come back around to Pizza Pantry. Here goes: There are millions of pizza restaurants. I'm 44 y/o and I recently learned that the best pizza place I've ever eaten at, Pirate's Pizza in Reno, Nevada, closed this year. I only had their pie once, but I still remember the experience and when I learned they closed forever I rent my garments and rubbed gravel in my hair like the biblical Job. When i awoke from the nadir of the fugue of my sadness, I knew the throne could not remain empty. The Pizza Pantry is now number one. The king, the emperor, the Paramount Kneader. I mourned Pirate's pizza...and if anything ever happens to Pizza Pantry, I'll mourn them too. Incredible pizza wizard science flavor. It's just insanely good. So so so good. Staff is lovely too :)

The pizza is so amazing!! We had pepperoni pizza, and they use pepperoni from Italy which is super delicious. You can tell that these employees put a lot of effort into making a great pizza!

Very casual decor, but wow, the pizza... delicious! I had a slice of mushroom / veggie, and the Greek salad. This place is a gem, I will be returning whenever in Oakland.

Stopped by here when I got locked out of my apartment and needed a snack. Delicious pizza!! Tried the pepperoni and it did not disappoint. Staff were also super friendly and helpful and even offered me water when they saw I was waiting.

So happy to see that this place has reopened! My family and I used to go there all the time when they originally opened 6 years or so ago. They have the best pizza ingredients, the best crust and just generally the best pizza ever! It was a bummer when they closed and we were so happy to see they have reopened! Have already signed them up to cater my 6 year old's birthday this month.

The pizza is usually by the slice. They usually reheat in the pizza oven with a bit of oil on the crust. They usually rotate the pizza each day so check the website before going to see if you like the pizza. Usually they have one meat, one veggie and on cheese pizza type for each day. I think the guys who own it are European so lot of more interesting German beers in there. Feels a bit industrial from the outside. Outdoor eating area is a bit average. Also hard to tell if it's open from the outside at times.

Pizza had a weird texture. I would try again, but I was not impressed the first time. I also had a side salad that was lacking toppings and the dressing was too oily. I don't live in Oakland, but I'm sure they have better pizza.
