Wonderful evening here. We had tried a couple other spots which turned out to be reservation only, and it was in the middle of a storm. Found this one by accident. Glad we did! Food was mostly exceptional, it was our first time in Oaxaca, we live in Puebla. Tlayuda: Crispy exterior and the tasajo was wonderful. It's a bit like cecina yecapixtla over a quesadilla, but with local herbs. Really enjoyed it. Tamales: Very different than the ones we're used to, with mole and chicken. Very tasty and a generous portion. The masa is excellent. Rib eye of pork in mole: the mole was very good, but the pork was extremely tough and chewy. Tasted good, but very, very tough. Cut it out and turned it into little tacos which worked. They have some great local craft beers, and we tasted a lot of mezcal. Very easy to spend a few hours having a great time. Exceptional service. Legendary even. Will definitely come back next time we're in Oaxaca.
This is a good place, it has a nice service.
Fantastic service! An unfortunate knocking of our table resulted in drinks spilling on us and they made it up to us in many ways and were more than apologetic! The food is also super flavorful and the drinks tasty! Definitely recommend!
This terrace feels especially beautiful and exclusive to me. The service was unhurried but attentive. The food was delicious (I had the salmon and flan) and and I enjoyed every bite. For me, this dining experience was a highlight and I will gladly return.
Perfect place for a date 😍 This restaurant is an excellent choice for a romantic evening out. The local Oaxacan food is delicious and the drinks are nicely crafted. Moreover, the staff members are incredibly friendly and hospitable, which adds to the overall dining experience. We enjoyed our meals so much that we dined at this restaurant twice during our stay in Oaxaca. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fantastic food. I tried 5 kinds of mole. So good.
Very clean and well decorated restaurant. We sat outside on the terrace with other two tables of guests. Friendly waiters offered good service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I loved my Oaxaca’s traditional dish, Tasajo w Nopal. We were surprised with the bill. For two meals and 4 drinks in such good quality, 360 pesos is a good deal.

Inspiración de los Oaxaqueños
Had chilaquiles Tita and chilaquiles sencillos. Both were good. Had to sit outside because of a large group inside. Unfortunately it was a cold morning with lots of wind which made it not ideal. Service was great. Likely a great place to enjoy dinner outside just not cold breezy mornings.
Good service, nice ambience, distinctive local cuisine. Tried the sampler plate of Oaxacan specialties, with grasshoppers (chapulines) and local meats and cheeses.

Food is ok, not great. Service is very good and the terrace is beautiful.
Maybe we were there on an off day, everything was fine but just not living up to the reviews.
The huevos rancheros were good. Everything else was wrong. We expressed in Spanish that my wife had a lactose intolerance and needed her coffee with almond milk, they said no problem and then brought her a coffee with cow milk without warning her. We asked the waiter and he said they ran out of almond milk so they just gave us cow milk instead. We asked if the maple syrup was real and they said yes then we asked for the bottle and saw it was flavored corn syrup. And more...
We have come to this restaurant before, and had a nice experience on the terrace. This visit was the opposite. We came to sit on the terrace, but there was an event, so we were constricted to anot…
The personal was awful, the host treat us in a very bad way, it depends on the humor of the host I will not recommend this place there are better places with good attitude
No dan factura, por eso no ponen número de teléfono, para evadir
We went there and first it was a positive view. Then we ended up paying the bill, which was not what we expected. They palm uff on our tequilla shots; they made us pay twice as much as their menu card said. We were very disappointed. I really don’t recommend this place.
Meat was tender and ok, but not special. Mole was not interesting, border bland. Small things brought the meal down. Margerine, not butter even when requested. Apparently no butter existed in kitchen. Drinks arrived sans napkins. Small, but indicative of don’t care service. Minimal vegetables. Mojito was good though. Most of my ratings are high because I carefully select where to eat. I didn’t this time, and got poor results. Finally, restaurant associated with hotel. I usually avoid hotel restaurants, and this is why.
So the location and the terrace itself is pretty. Its inside a cute hotel. The rooftop is very comfortable and breezy. Here's where the whole service began to falter. We ordered our drinks (juice of the day and some cocktails). We sat at the table with our drinks for like 15 minutes before they came to take our meal order. We order the milanesa sandwhich x2 and a ceasar salad. This order took about 40 minutes to make.... milanesa sandwhiches and a casar salad.... the ceasar salad had barely any dressing on it... they should have just called it a dry lettuce salad. The sandwiches were delicious... the only problem was that they didnt come with the potatoes as advertised on the menu. So i had to call out the waiter... he came back a few minutes later with a plate consisting of about 5 small pieces of potato... then the cherry on top... we weren't even done eating when a wait staff approached us to collect payment when we hadn't even asked for the bill.... disastrous.... the place seemed like they were unprepared.... for a restaurant with a 4.2 rating... we were expecting a whole lot more.
