You can chat quietly while enjoying a tasty cut of beef on the grill at your table.
I quite liked the food; the meat was tasty, as was the soup. I wasn't thrilled with the hibiscus water because it lacked flavor, and they gave you too few tortillas for a double grill platter. Other than that, everything was fine.
Good place to eat meat like flank steak, chorizo, and dried beef. The only drawback is that when they bring the small grill with the hot meat to the table, the heat it gives off is considerable, and since it's an enclosed space, you might feel a little uncomfortable. But overall, a good restaurant; I recommend the flank steak.
A classic spot that, although it's changed over the years, still cooks its meats on a wood-fired grill, which is quite an experience. When you put the meat on the grill, it's not fully cooked, which is understandable because the fire is still burning and will continue to cook it. I see some comments about this, and it's important to clarify that it's part of the process. The meat seems to be of good quality, and the salsa and guacamole that come with it are delicious. We ordered a portion of guacamole, which is prepared in a molcajete (mortar and pestle), and it was very good. Overall, I think it's a great place to eat.
I absolutely loved the "mini grill" experience at the table, 10/10! The meat wasn't bad, and the waitress was very friendly. I would change the facade; I don't understand why they put up a crest like it's an elementary school 🫠. They urgently need a designer. The experience they offer is completely at all reflected in the facade. For years, when I drove past, I swore it was Chinese food, but it's nothing like that. Investing in a community manager is important because this place is truly worth visiting.
The flank steak was of good quality for a steakhouse, but the slightly acidic mushroom soup could have used more croutons. The white spaghetti was delicious and packed with mushrooms. The extra chorizo is only two balls, and the onions are the same. Only two seem a bit pricey, but the service is good. I do recommend it.
Its glory days are over. But the food and service are very good. I recommend this place.
Ingredient quality: It wasn't bad at all, although far from the best I've ever had. 4/5 Preparation and presentation: Excellent. 5/5 Customer service: While the waiters are somewhat expressionless, they are friendly and very helpful. 5/5 Ambiance and cleanliness: The ambiance could be better; they had an American football game on one screen, a movie on another, and music at a low volume. The cleanliness was excellent. 3/5 (due to the low music volume) Value for money: The prices are slightly high relative to the quality. 4/5 ESG 4 stars
The food (we ordered arrachera) tasted good, the drinks were fine, the atmosphere was average, the place was also average, and the service from the waiters was good. However, they include the tip in the total, which I definitely don't like. I usually leave the minimum tip if the service isn't that great and a bit more if I like the service, but I don't think they should force you to leave a certain amount. That's definitely a big no-no.
Excellent cuts of meat, delicious, well-cooked, super friendly waiters, clean and very pleasant place. It's a shame it's not full or only full on weekends. Highly recommended.
The grilled arrachera steak, green salad, and Regio appetizers were delicious. The only downside is that the menu lists different ingredients than what's actually on the plate. It gets very hot inside; the fans aren't enough. The service was excellent, though there weren't many servers, but they were very attentive and friendly.
Good BBQ
Acceptable, almost good, bordering on very good
Pago.
Terrible service. They serve raw meat, don't offer options for people who can't eat spicy food, and poorly-organized waiters. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Terrible service. The grilled steak was incredibly slow to serve, and other tables were served very quickly, and they even asked for a 10% extra on the bill. Not recommended. We went there for over 30 years and won't return.
The restaurant was deserted. Poor decor. Unfriendly but attentive service. The grilled meat was expensive at 760 pesos, with little but good meat. The garlic soup was good. Melted cheese that felt like milky plastic. Tlayudas were more like boring toast. Not a trace of what it was 20 years ago. Too bad. Not recommended.
