WOW. they make their syrups AND mocha sauce in house. So rare. And, they do an excellent job. Their espresso is very smooth you can still recognize that it's good coffee but it doesn't overtake the specialty drinks flavours, and its suuuuper smooth. Great quality milk. I am utterly obsessed with the szechuan orange mocha. A genius flavour pairing, they nailed the balance of orange and floral szechuan, mild tongue tingling smoothed over by some chocolate. Sosoosos good i ordered it hot. The banana bread latte is perfect! Not too sweet at all. I got it iced it is so refreshing and lip smacking.

Great spot for those who prefer healthier non-greasy lunch options. We had the chicken rice bowl and it was decent.

After Vail, this is the most expensive coffee (iced mocha) and slice of avocado toast ever. I do credit their coffee for being robust and punchy and am enamored by the fact they make their own flavored syrups--crafty touch! Avocado toast was perfection and looked it! Made to order, every bite was sufficiently tasty and worth savoring before washing it down with a torrent of chill espresso. For breakfast. arrive early or be tortured by the anticipation of enjoying something wonderful.... and expensive💵💰🍻 @wardstr

Delicious roast espresso blend, fun place/cool vibe, very friendly service. Nice variety of well done baked goods. (I got the trail cookie because I like this kind of thing--like a Kind Bar. The huge peanut butter cookies, croissants, cinnamon bun, etc., looked wonderful!) Fair prices for a resort.

I am not a big fan of their Menlo Park place, but this was such a charming spot nestled inside the famous Olympic Valley. The ambiance was very good, spacious, full of light and good interior design. Latte was well made too, tasted good and had the right temperature. It wasn't a crowded weekend and the line was decent. Overall a great peaceful experience on a Sunday morning.

So bomb, holy moley! This place is a gem, excellent service with a smile! Avocado toast was bomb, chorizo burrito - insane, and the best was the egg sandwich with bacon, came back the next day just to relive it - hidden gem, don’t waste your time going to Starbucks when this gem is a 8min walk

Nice place with cool vibes, good music. The lion roll is super tasty. Some unique offerings like the turmeric golden latte. I've been to several locations and this one is in a killer spot with amazing views.

Our new favorite place! The breakfast Panini was the most awesome I've ever had, and now we are craving the coffee also. Luckily you can order online.

Been here twice, once for lunch (chicken bowl with rice) and once for breakfast (burrito with chorizo). Both were really fresh, tasty and good value! We’ll be back :)

Lovely place with view of the Mountain .. we enjoyed to seat outside with our dog. The service by Evy was very gracious! The gluten free muffins with cherry and chocolate were very good and fresh! The drip coffee was very good too. Very raisonnable prices Do not hesitate to GO 🙏❤️

So impressed to find actually great coffee at a ski resort! Staff was so welcoming and friendly. The coffee was wonderful, we even stopped back in to buy some beans. What a treat after a day on the mountain.

A total gem and a staple for Palisades. Great coffee, pastries and health food. GF options and healthier food than the typical junk around the village. Anyone that wants to judge them on service needs to remember that it’s sitting in a ski resort and serving the masses. The staff here are awesome and doing a great job. Cut them some slack. Try working at a ski resort with a bunch of tourist day in and day out with people frantically trying to get their orders. All things considered I think they do a solid job.

Ok so hear me out, this is a must stop. The house chai, roonis chai, gf pumpkin bites and the service are so Beyond exceptional. Delfina and Asher are an absolute power combo and bring the fun atmosphere

Beautiful space conducive to getting work, etc done. Decent number of outlets throughout the place. Does not charge extra for plant based milk and, has unsweetened plant based milk so gets an extra star for that! The selection of plant based / vegan food is present but low; the quality is high though. It’s also quite expensive - on par or less expensive than other places within the resort though — and the portions are not huge. Overall, it offers the best selection of plant based / vegan food within the resort.

I got the ham and cheese croissant and a vanilla latte. Both were great, but I wanted to give a special shout out to the staff. There was a lady that ordered after me and was being extremely rude to both of the baristas‘s and the baristas handled the rude customer very responsibly and respectfully. I want to make sure if she leaves a review mine cancels hers out since it was a great experience and very friendly staff.

As a coffee shop / baked goods so it's expensive but that's expected given the location next to Squallywood. As a roaster with a Monday deal ($18 / 12 oz bag) they are likely the best value as the coffee is superior to laughing cat in Reno or wild cherries in Truckee - just don't buy the beans any other day as you're liable to pay double that price (I paid $30 for a 12 oz bag on Sunday!)

We ordered a latte with alternative oat milk and a pour over. The latte 12 oz was good, and it was nice for the barista to make a beautiful pattern. The pour over, however, was a bit blend. The water was added to the coffee pot all at once (not using the swan neck kettle) and the water stayed there with grounded coffee for 3-5 minutes. It was brew coffee not a pour over at all.

Decent coffee. Avocado toast is not so good. Belgian waffle made of pancake mix and it takes 20 minutes to make) No music. Overall not good experience spending $60.

Very friendly service but the food was very disappointing. Ordered a breakfast burrito... it was so tiny and lacking flavor. Paid around $19 (including tip). Will not return for food.

This has to be THE world’s slowest coffee shop in existence. Expect to wait 20+ minutes on a slow week day. Couldn’t imagine what the wait times are like when it gets busy here. Only one barista working on a machine that can easily handle 2.

I’ve ordered a coffee and after a while there was nobody by the coffee machine. I asked a person behind the countet why so and when my coffee was going to ready. He told me he he was the general manager, and was very rude, refusing to answer any question and repeating “we will call you when the coffee will be ready”. Once a barista showed up, the “general manager” told me “ok, I’ll give a refund”. By then, I lost any desire for a coffee and accepted it. The guy continued being rude. Very upsetting.

I just ordered avocado toast for $11! I got the bread and no avocado on it. I mean in LA for $10 you get lots of avocados. Why I need pay $11 for bread toast. Service is so bad, cashier mixed up our order 2 times. We couldn’t get our lattes for 20 minutes because they mixed up the order several times. If cashier can’t remember the size of the cup for 2 seconds, it’s not ok. I told him that I want 12oz, orange cup. He asked me if I want 12oz buy immediately put 8 oz in the order. After we asked them to make it 12oz they told us we need to make a refund first and order again. So the breakfast and the mood was completely ruined because the service is bad

CoffeeBar is great, just not this location. I’ve eaten here multiple times over the past week. Despite being largely empty every time food and drink takes a very long time (think ten min for a cup or drip or 25+ min for avocado toast). Drip coffee has been watery and cappuccinos sub par (think basically a cup of milk with minimal if any foam). Avocado toast is a standard piece of bread with a very thin layer of avocado. A joke for the $11 they charge and how long the wait is. Skip this local in favor of any of the other Truckee locations. Update 2025: it still takes on average 30 minutes for a beverage every time I come here it’s just inappropriate for business. You’re welcome sometimes it’s because they’re busy sometimes it’s no one‘s here. It just doesn’t change.

Holy shrinkflation! Prices are higher (again!) and the breakfast burrito is made with what looks to be a taco tortilla and with very little chorizo. I was a long time customer, but I’ll bring my own snacks or eat on the mountain from here on out.
