Port City Cafe & Bakery Oswego Reviews
Had a wonderful gluten free breakfast wrap, service was quick and friendly :)
I had the Korean BBQ bowl and a turkey bacon and smoked Gouda on white bread with mayo and honey mustard. My fiancée had a gluten-free. Turkey, avocado wrap. They have many gluten free options and a large menu to choose from. In my opinion this is a destination eatery. I loved it and we will be back!
Always great food! Today's house salad with braised beef added was simple but exactly what I wanted. Flavorful and well balanced.
I just got the Korean Beef Grain bowl and it is so good definitely has a spicy kick to it which I love. FYI if you’re sick and can’t breathe out of your nose this will clean your sinuses out for ya. I recommend, its so yummy even if you aren’t sick and just crave something spicy
Love this place!! So many great choices in a laid back, clean and inviting atmosphere. Staff is a little cranky on occasion and it's hard to get thier attention to ask questions, but usually friendly. They recently had a menu update which has some good choices, but I do miss my old favorites.
Phenomenal breakfast sandwiches. Got the Fancy Farmer on everything bagel eotj braised beef which resembled pulled pork and tasty still, arugula, Asiago cheese sauce, egg, and portobello mushroom. Also the special, beef au jus. Didn't have greens in there but very flavorful with the dunking sauce.
The service and quality of the food is consistently good, please go if you haven’t gotten the chance. I would highly recommend the Italian grilled cheese + the Tuscan tomato soup, absolutely delicious. Their passion fruit tea and mango tea are really great too. I’ve only tried dessert once, a cheesecake, and it was also delicious.
I was very happy with the food and the atmosphere is nice. Although, a kitchen staff member nearly bit my head off when I was trying to confirm I was grabbing the correct takeout bag for a meeting. Everyone has an off day and It was busy, but It was a pretty unpleasant experience. The rest of the staff was very kind to me.
I really enjoy going to this place. The food is usually good, although I wish they would go a bit heavier on the meat in their items. The one thing I would change is to have them open earlier, I start work at 8am and if I could come get a breakfast sandwich at like 6:30 - 7 I’d definitely go more
Had the Korean bowl and the lobster bisque two separate occasions. The Korean bowl was not Korean in any way. Plain and not pickled veggies, usually there’s a beef or pork bulgogi but they served shredded, dry, and salty beef similar to barbacoa. The flavors were not Asian. The lobster bisque was runny and the pieces of lobster were non existent and again on the saltier side. I ate a couple times at their main restaurant next door and the food left a lot to be desired. I heard they sent their best chefs to their newer restaurant so that’s probably why.
Food: The orgeon chai was awful, I didn't even finish it. My wrap was fresh but needed more dressing. Service: It took them a very long time to take my order. When I asked questions about the food the staff could not answer them. I waited a long time for my food. They were not very friendly. Atmosphere: It dark but there is plenty of seating. The menu tv is hard to read. The bathroom was clean.
Have no word for the food. They gave away our cake. Was told our office couldn't pick it up this morning because it wouldn't be ready. But then they gave a vegan cake to the wrong customer......This morning!?. I've never been there before, and they will not have a repeat customer. To whoever got the vegan cake we ordered. I hope it was enjoyed.
