Better than average Mexican restaurant.
Large menu with Authentic Mexican food. Great service and food
Really like the food. No wait time.
This place is a little gem. The food is really fresh and delicious. I had the El Mexicano, and it was really good! The service staff is very friendly and fast. The food is well proportioned, and it came out really fast. I gave it five stars based on the area. Oh yeah, the green sauce off the chain.
I'm a solo traveler. The chips with salsa was just right because it was a little spicy. I had the chulipas with chicken and it was delicious. It was interesting watching the tv with Spanish singers and dancing.
By far and away the best food I've had in my life, and don't even get me started on there margaritas and fantastic service. Nothing like going to the PMR after a hard day of work at the plot. The PMR is truly a life changing experience.
I was in town for a family reunion and stopped here for supper. I had the El Mexicano plate. The taco that came with the plate was stuffed with more meat than any taco I've ever had. It was good, too. The employees were very nice and the service was great. The next time we are here for our reunion, I will be back.
Great food but terribly overpriced. Waitress understanding of English poor as we ordered a catfish fillet dinner and served a catfish and shrimp dinner. We didn't complain and we're charged for the restaurants mistake. At no time did waitress ask if food okay or we need anything . No one explained that we had to go to the counter to pay bill. Serious training required.
I've eaten here before, and it wasn't very good. My friends wanted to eat here, so I gave it another shot. Much improved! The service was really good, especially considering there were about 30 of us.
Ever going to a restaurant wanting to give it a good review, but you just can't? I was looking forward to a good tamale, but when I tasted it, it was rancid. I asked the waitress to make sure the cook smelled it and tasted it.But then I just saw them, throw it away. At the checkout and she charged me full price, I asked her if I was going to have to pay for the tamali... she just ran it up without a second thought. O well...
I am going with a 3 due to several reasons and none necessarily with the food. The food was filled with great flavor and definitely was fresh! My complaint with it is quantity versus value. The guisada was $14.99 and my fajitas were $24. The salsa taste like a kicked up ketchup. For 2 people our ticket was $56 without tip!
Salsa super hot w no taste, chips super hard. Food portions were small and expensive. Service not good either, got the food, never seen the waitress again. Even had to go ask for the ticket. Get the feel they don't care about their restaurant or their customers.
Chicken fajita tasted like dog food and the lady that served us was SO RUDE. My boyfriend asked for coffee and when she brought it to us she just splashed it all around. Had to steal silverware and napkins from another table to clean off the coffee cup and plate it came with. Then she looked annoyed when we asked for a rootbeer and just dropped the straw on the table (never gave me one) the lady that checked me out was sweet. If I knew the tip would go to her I would’ve given it but the lady that served us did not deserve one. We just spent almost $42 on dog food. That was with the refund of my chicken dog food btw
When we 1st moved to Palacios we tried the place, food was ok,tried it again,as there is not of food choices in this small town...Terrible food, over priced, me and my husband were both sick afterwards will not be going back
