The food is fresh and delicious. Service isn't great. People seem to hate their job. The portion size is small. They measure everything meticulously. They police every ounce of food and charge for every little thing. The nice workers end up leaving.

Love their freshly made tortillas and the mint lemonade!! Now I really only get two things from here but I love them so much I dont really bother trying anything else. Lol The barbacoa burrito with black beans, light rice done enchilada style with the spicy sauce and the barbacoa salad (love the sweet meat) with their creamy green dressing. My kids love both of them too.

Food is great and hearty when the two brothers are working. Twice I've had the all female staff, they hardly put any meat on taco. Next time, I'll just leave. $10 is a lot for just a spoonful. And still hungry afterwards

The food was good as always. I love their salads. But for the first time I ordered the chicken Tortilla Soup. It was $9 for this small soup and that one piece of chicken. I will NEVER order that and pay $9 for broth. That picture below is all the chicken that was in that bowl.

Charging $43 for two burritos, one of which had clearly ripped while folding and two small drinks, is diabolical. Tortilla had dried out crispy bits fyi. If you're gonna charge that price thats fine food seemed very fresh but staff have excute it. Wednesday 10/29. Just felt ripped off.

Good food, but slow, disinterested service. The person who put together our food was apparently not trained to run the till. He did not call anyone to run the till until a customer asked after we'd waited for more than two minutes. I ordered a large mint limeade to drink, but that container was nearly empty, so I could only get 2 inches in my cup. I asked a worker to refill it, she said yes, then none of the 5 workers did anything, even though only one was actively serving customers. After about 5 minutes, I asked again and was told "in 10 minutes". 10 minutes later a worker refilled a different container. Another few minutes later, we had finished our food, so I asked for a refund on the price of my drink, which was given, and we left. I wouldn't go back, and can't recommed this place with the current crew.

The mint drink tastes like water. The tortilla shell was very thin, the tortilla strips were stale, and the food was cold. I literally threw up everything I ate. Very disappointed!

I used to come here regularly. I really love Café Rio food every other café Rio has been very lovely. I came On Sunday 07/13/25, I noticed that the employee has an attitude. And was making little comments, seem to have a lot of issues going on and made it very obvious he was having a upsetty Spaghetti day. Acting like a child, with an attitude. He didn’t even bother, handing me my food across the counter or my receipt. I had to reach over the counter to get my stuff.And I get it I’ve worked a minimum wage job and I know that it can be a pain, but this man needs to get his stuff together. I’m ordering and get my food, I mean, noticing that the guacamole that I am paying an extra two dollars for Is brown. I go home about maybe six hours later, I begin to develop food poisoning symptoms. I am vomiting, and I am having very harsh stomach pain, Nauseous, and I feel very upset with my meal. Honestly, I really don’t feel safe right now because I ate pork from this place. I genuinely do feel uncomfortable and I don’t know if I should go to a hospital. I will be reaching out tomorrow. I would never normally do this, but I will be calling a manager because this is just absolutely ridiculous considering that a meal here cost is $15-$16

I invited my friend to lunch for a meeting, we received the worst customer service ever. He paid extra for the food, it was awful. He told me don't ever invite him their again. I've had better service in the ghetto. I'm actually on the phone with him, informing him, I'm doing a review. He said the meat taste like death, the only good thing was the mints. I'm crying right now. It really was not a good experience. Upon entering, their was no one in line, we watched workers laugh and talk until I said something. He feels we were discriminated against for being black. I feel it was lack of training for the female. He's disabled in a wheel chair. Thanks a lot Cafe Rio. I really felt disgusted.

Went for the first time tonight, the food was sloppy and looked like it was sitting out for hours. Management was so rude and didn't care at all. The customer service at this place is insanely crappy. I'd give no stars if that was an option.
