Boba on the fancier side. The bottles are big, and the boba is great. Also got some dessert and was tasty.

The Day and Night tea is some of the most delicious milk tea I've ever had! Packaging's lovely too. If it's in this kind of container they'll serve your boba on the side, though.

First time here and had amazing service and help from cashier guy who recommended me to try the Oriental Beauty Oolong Tea with boba. I gotta say it was different than the honey boba, tea house, or half and half; however, it was still very good and the difference might be that they state they use organic tea.

I always love their tea. They focus on the quality of the tea more compared to other boba places. Personally love all of their oolong teas. Yummy yummy.

Came in looking to purchase milk Thai tea. Ended up getting something different. Definitely love the potted Oreo milk tea. Thank you

Jintea House is a hidden gem in West Covina! Every visit here feels warm and welcoming, with excellent service. Their newly launched handmade lemon tea is truly special – the 1-liter “fire extinguisher” bottle design is not only fun but also generous in portion. The flavor is perfectly sweet and sour, making it a delightful surprise! The shop offers a wide variety of drinks, and you can really taste the freshness of the tea and fruits in every sip. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations based on personal preferences. The environment is clean and cozy, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea. If you’re in West Covina, Jintea House is a must-visit for tea lovers and anyone looking for a chill place to unwind. I’ve already recommended it to many friends and will definitely be coming back!

I LOVE JIN. Seriously. I love it to the point that I come here weekly. If your looking for an aesthetic boba spot with some good quality, delicious, tea and brown sugar boba -- this is the spot. Their boba is sooo good and I love the packaging. I recommend the roasted oolong milk tea. Its not too sweet, but it hits. Although it may be on the pricier side, your getting good quality. All the one star ratings aren't even related to their opinions of the drinks; they're all just complaints about how they were denied service because they didn't comply with shop rules, the price, and parking. This has become my favorite boba spot. I definitely think they have the best boba out there and no other boba spot has convinced me otherwise. Definitely try it out!

They do have boba, and it's good, but they're definitely a tea shop first. If you're into high quality teas and interesting drinks then I'd definitely recommend this place. Be warned, they're a bit on the pricey side especially their premium teas. But, if you care about subtle flavors over just a caffeine/sugar rush this is a great place to go.

This tea house was a great find. The five of us ordered five different teas. The tea is wonderful and is meant to be brewed multiple times, so don't be daunted by the prices! While we haven't had the full meals they offer, the snacks they offer such as their pastries and dumplings are excellent. They're at their quietest Monday afternoons and evenings, so if you're looking for a place to unwind after work, this is the spot! Bring a friend because this tea house is much better experienced with other people. Not the cheapest place to get tea in the area but definitely the best.

Really awesome egg waffle with red bean and boba drink. Only thing that could be better is a sitting area and restroom.

Tried the Love Potion and Day & Night milk tea flavors and they were both tasty!

As a tea lover, I can confidently say that Jin Tea is one of the best in the business. The quality of service and products they offer is truly outstanding, and I am willing to travel great distances just to indulge in their delicious login milk tea. What really sets Jin Tea apart from other tea shops is the consistency of their products, even in a busy public area. I've visited other tea shops where quality suffers due to the location strain, but this is not the case with Jin Tea. Overall, I cannot recommend Jin Tea enough high-quality tea and exceptional service.

I cannot get enough of the day and night milk tea here! I've ordered many times through DoorDash and went to the store once to pick up my order - whichever way you do it, the tea is always super fresh with a small amount of crushed ice in it at the top. The reason I like the day and night milk tea best is because it has a distinct tea flavor with activated charcoal in it, but it also has a sweet milkiness that makes you want to drink more. I've gotten a few of the other teas here and some of the other specialty drinks, but the day and night milk tea is my go to tea. If you like tea without the sweetness, you can definitely get that here! There are so many high quality teas you can choose from that it's hard to decide on one (that's why I always get three at minimum). Sweetness and ice levels can't be altered on their specialty teas, but if you get one of the regular teas you can choose how sweet and icy you want it to be. If you go in person, they have a table right inside the door where you can order from and, if I remember correctly, they have hand sanitizer available near the register. You can then wait outside while they prepare your order.

So I've gotten the ginger tea here three times. I will say their sugar levels run high. If you are use to say a Starbucks level of sweet tea, 50% sweetness will be plenty for you (maybe even too much). But the kick that the tea has is great! Their grapefruit oolong is an ice tea and has a good balance between tea and fruit flavoring.

M
Michael Duarte

Their milk teas are excellent with strong tea flavor. The Oriental Beauty Milk Tea 25% sugar with boba is perfection.

R

This place’s tea quality was phenomenal. I got one of the signature drinks, you get a cup that’s reusable too, and if you want topping they can give it on the side because there is no customization with the signature drinks. The boba was QQ and hot!

J
Justin Chilleo

Very delicous fruit tea, slightly too sweet for me with the specialty teas (you can't alter sweetness). However if you get regular tea options you can alter sweetness down to zero. They primarily have green, oolong and black tea varieties and a matcha latte. You can get bobba added (labeled brown sugar pearls).

Jin Tea is an artisan tea shop that is connected to Boiling Point. Their teas are really high quality and my go to is the: oriental oolong beauty milk tea (LOL the name 😂) it’s so creamy and infused with such strong tea fragrance I seriously get it almost once a week. Pro tip: if you don’t like sweet drinks, get the oriental beauty oolong milk tea with 25% sweetness and it’s perfect!!

I was in the area looking to go to a different boba place, but Jin Tea Shop was suggested to me on instagram so I changed my destination! Super glad I did. I ordered the organic egg puffle with boba, the butterfly pea flower lemonade, and sunny honey. Everything was amazing, especially the egg puffle! I've had a great variety of similar style egg waffles from different stores, and I have to say this one takes the crown. The waffle batter itself is not too sweet so it balances well with the brown sugar boba inside. Not to mention, the boba inside was still chewy despite being heated! I was pleasantly surprised as it's hard to include boba in desserts while keeping the chewiness and consistency. They did an amazing job. I didn't get the chance to try any of their oolong tea drinks but their chrysanthemum tea in the sunny honey drink was legit. The butterfly lemonade was yummy as well! I'm definitely coming back and can't wait to try other menus.

Ooh try number ten if you like tofu and are adventurous! I don’t like my drink to be too sweet so I got 50% sweetness but it was still sweet enough. I never had a bad option here whether it’s milk tea, fruity blend or healthy unsweetened herb teas. Highly recommend!

R

Even though I’m from NorCal, I always take the time when I come to Los Angeles to get a drink here. Their tea is super good and their boba is really fresh. I highly recommend trying their specialty drinks. They are not too sweet and perfectly balanced.

J

Jin Tea is hands down, one my favorite boba shops. I am obsessed with their tofu pudding and their boba is always the right texture imo. You can adjust the sweetness of their drinks (which are normally on the blander side) but I'm not a big fan of super sweet drinks so I think thats pretty cool. Something about them just feels and taste a litte more high end compared to other spots.

This is the boba shop I got my family hooked on. I have been a regular for some time now, so it's time to review! I their boba teas are so delectable and never disappointing. Always delicious and always make me crave for some more. Their teas are high quality and amazing. It's always a great stop while in town.

Authentic and beautifully curated tea! This tea shop has one of the best teas and bobas in all of Southern California. I got the cold brew High Mountain Oolong tea, and the taste was subtle with hints of that earthy oolong taste, without it being too strong. My only concern was the prices, and they did seem a bit higher than typical boba/tea shops.

Came here after Boiling Point. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of their drinks. Highly recommend their grapefruit oolong tea with aloe vera(no sugar- the juice and aloe already have their own sweetness). Their egg puffle was also delicious.

Drinks were really good. The love potion had sweet and sour flavors that went really good together and adding the black pearls made it even more perfect. The matcha latte had more gentle flavors. The place was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience!!

Very tasty selection of drinks. Slightly expensive though because of the quality. I’ve only ever tried the sweet milk with tofu pudding and boba. The tofu is a silken soft tofu. The sugar syrup is brown sugar with a little bit of winter melon syrup. One of my top sweet milk drinks in the area. Have already bought a little over 10 drinks already.

Jin Tea Shop has an excellent selection of artisan teas. It's a little more expensive than most boba cafés, but the taste makes it worth it. The only problem is that they have no seating or even tables. We had to put our tea on the window sill to punch the straw through the top.😅

Nice and fresh bubble tea. Sad that you can’t edit the Artesian teas with sugar and ice. My drink was cold and enjoyable. A bit expensive but not too much compared with the competition.

I love this boba shop for their cute bottles and snacks! So handy yet delicious. Highlights of the menu: 1. Day & night milk tea 2. Fluffy egg puffs - filled with cheese Street parking is available since this shop is in Pasadena downtown.

This tea house is part of the Boiling Point family but has a separate storefront from the Boiling Point next door. Freshly brewed tea but expect to pay a premium for the location and convenience. There are only two counter seats in here so don't plan on staying long. Decent for getting a drink while waiting for your hot pot fix. Tea flavor was strong but my beauty oolong milk tea had a bit too much creamer for my liking. You can sample the add-ins if you ask.

F

A clean, minimalist aesthetic and a nicely curated organic tea menu that feels a bit more elevated than your standard boba spot. That said, everything I tried leaned too sweet, or too bitter, which is weird, even after adjusting the sugar level. I couldn’t quite land on a drink that felt balanced. There’s no seating—indoors or out—so be prepared to take your tea to go. Luckily, Central Park is just a short stroll away if you want somewhere nearby to sit and sip. Limited parking on the street, but there’s a structure close by that’s affordable, just $1 for the first two hours and a couple bucks an hour after that.

Small tea shop in Pasadena! Their tea are definitely high quality and you can taste it! Price is a bit higher.. but occasionally is okay for me. I got the grapefruit oolong tea and a winter melon drink. Their drinks aren’t sweet like the other tea shops. It doesn’t take away the authentic tea flavor which I love! Their menu is pretty big so you have lots of options. I want to come back to try their desserts. Parking is a bit hard to find especially after lunch hours.. there’s now a lot of outdoor dining so parking is now way limited.

I really like the packaging. My recommendations are grapefruit oolong tea, oriental beauty oolong milk tea, and sunny honey. The midnight tea tastes like brown sugar milk which I think is okay. Matcha latte is not bad but nothing special. Will comeback to try more of this store!

I stopped because there was a promotion advertised on their window. I found the store to be super small and no seat at all. It Would be great to have an area where to enjoy these luxurious boba tea. Their menu looked great and “healthy” . They have lots of artisan teas but not sure if you can drink just some teas without sugar and boba. So I took the berry tea. It was good and refreshing. What I appreciated is there were no ice cubes in my drink. Drink was cold. I won’t buy it again but without the promotion it would have been around $7 for a small cup. Staffs working there were very friendly and helpful.

Great spot for milk tea. The lemonade and the seasonal charcoal milk tea are absolutely amazing. The Matcha green tea is very good as well if you are into the matcha flavor. Wish they were open earlier than 11, but great nonetheless.

I feel like reviews sort of hyped it, but it was just so so. I had a grapefruit oolong with just 1/4 sugar. It was good, but nothing I didn't feel was just as quality as someplace cheaper. I also ordered an egg puff with red bean - I had barely any red bean. Not even joking, it had pretty much one little bean per puff lol. The staff were super friendly and attentive, so I never want to give a bad review for good customer service. They were perfect, tea and food however were disappointing. Please also be aware there is no indoor or outdoor seating.

Got the oolong cream tea with 50% sweet and boba. The boba was cooked just right and sweetened great and I liked the tea probably should have gotten it less sweet since it seemed very sweet still! The cream was a bit salty for me, but tasted good with the sweetness of the boba and my drink. The customer service was a little eh, I understand the whole corona virus might make people a little stressed, but I felt kinda "shooed" away and unwanted there.

I like this place because they have chrysanthemum, and I got the brown sugar boba milk drink before, but the flavors are just not there. Even with standard sweetness, everything tastes bland and watery. Also, when I paid with cash, the lady working there took out a marker to ensure I was not using a counterfeit bill. I didn't feel really welcome after that; I'm not the type to utilize fake money and never have.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this store. When I tried to pay for a milk tea with my credit card, the cashier insisted that I show my ID before completing the transaction. While I understand the importance of fraud prevention, there’s no standard rule or policy requiring customers to show ID for credit card payments. The cashier also didn’t explain why this was necessary, which made the situation confusing and frustrating. What made this experience even more puzzling was that I noticed the cashier didn’t ask the customers behind me to show their ID when they paid for their drinks. This inconsistency left me feeling singled out, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I hope the store clarifies its policies and ensures they are applied consistently to avoid confusion for future customers.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Jin Tea for the past 4 years, when it used to have mind blowing varieties of oolong milk teas with flavorful tea base and rich milk, and have recommended this place to all my friends, family, and visitors. However, for the past couple of years, I’ve been increasingly noticing that the milk tea has been getting more watery and the flavor much weaker and bland. I initially thought it was because I’ve tried lowering my sugar level, but no, with whatever sugar level I try them in, I came to a conclusion that it’s just the flavor itself that changed. I’m pretty disappointed by how watery it has been tasting for the past year and I’ve pretty much lost all my hype and will no longer recommend to my friends as the best boba they should try… it’s still a good watery boba, but $1-2 more expensive than other places.

I really liked this place. Their drinks are very good. However, the fact that they force the client to buy certain drink in toxic plastic bottles is unethical and unhealthy. I even asked to place the drink on a cup instead of the toxic bottle bcuz I am a cancer survivor who can't drink in plastic, which I explain to the unhelpful worker, they still did not care. They claimed that their store regulation did not allow them to placed it in a cup, yet if I paid for the cup then the regulations were nonexistent. So DUMB! No COMPASSION Very INCENTIVE, and UNPROFESSIONAL. Also, the girl preparing the drinks today at 3:30pm (a skinny girl), has a really bad attitude! No people skills. Will not shop here again!!

god forbid you ask to have your drink remade because another customer had their hands all over yours to see if it was theirs. The older lady making drinks in the back remade mine with purposely no ice when I had originally asked for extra, and there was no brown sugar in it either.
