Luna Rossa Piazza Libertà Reviews
Neighborhood delight! This is my go to dinner place for a chill Italian meal. All of the waiters have been here for the past 10+ years and welcome you like family when you come in! The fig gnocchi and chicken martini are my favorites!
Surprisingly good little restaurant with impeccable service, food and atmosphere. Everything we ordered was outstanding, taste, and presentation wise. Highly recommend, I will be back.
The dishes in Luna Rosa were amazing! The staff were very friendly and professional. I did not recall hearing any music, but the atmosphere was already great when we were surrounded with friends and families.
Best lasagne I’ve ever had and the service was great.
I made a reservation here for my friend for his birthday and the service and food was beyond my expectations! They really do take care of you and treat you like family at Luna Rossa❤️
Great Italian restaurant, really enjoyed every course especially the eggplant parmigiana

Pricey but everyone in this neighborhood is a zillionaire anyway and the dishes were all very tasty. The ricotta cheesecake was great
Went here for a birthday meal and was blown away by the food and service. The pasta had the perfect texture with a deep seafood flavour that did not rely on msg or salt. The staff was so gracious to accommodate splitting an appetizer and main with zero complaints. Homely and friendly.
The food quality, the timing, and the staff all stood out. The workers excel; greeting customers cheerfully and accommodating requests with smiles. The restaurant balances warmth with proper hygiene. My culinary journey includes trying their entire selection. I genuinely care about this place's prosperity.
Very cozy Italian restaurant! Pasta was great. Wine slightly overpriced, but worth it for the vibe.
awesome cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant! great service great food. highly recommend
This is my new favorite NYC Italian restaurant. It’s incredible hospitality (which goes over and beyond “service”) makes you feel like family. The food is outstanding. And the restaurant has a wonderful and cosy ambience; and is kept spotless.

Cozy restaurant with nice atmosphere and kind service. I tried the gnocchis and they were very tasty.
My favorite pasta dish here is the paccheri with sweet sausage and mushrooms. I also have throroughly enjoy the carbonara, and the calamari with fried shrimp and vegetables is always a great starter. You can't go wrong with any of the desserts either. There was a special once that was a ravioli dish with veal, sage, amaretto, and raisins that my mom is still raving about a year after having it. The only thing I haven't loved here was the riggatoni with eggplant, but only because the menu offers so many other choices that I happen to prefer. I have been here many times and I much prefer this restaurant to the crowded nightmare that is Elios around the corner. The owner here is extremely friendly as well, which is always a nice bonus. It's a long and narrow restaurant but it's very cozy and not at all claustrophobic inside. Great place to have a long lingering meal with friends.
I had the chicken breast with lemon sauce and it was so delicious! I would highly recommend this place even if it’s just to try this dish, it made my taste buds jump!
Solid food. Pasta, burrata, and salmon were great!

Inedible. I ordered Tonnarelli Fatti in Casa con Trafila do Bronzo al Cacio e Pepe to go, and it was so bad I spit out the first bite and threw away the entire dish. The flavor was so bad that even the smell was off putting, so I sealed the container shut before putting it in the trash so it wouldn’t stick up my whole place. Also, the regular pasta was a weird texture and not properly cooked. The bread that comes on the side was very good but definitely would never eat here again.
