La Pesa Piazza Orland Reviews
The menu has something for everyone. The food was very tasty and they cater to your wishes! The house wine is available from red, white to rosé and is more than okay for the price, if you want something better you will certainly find it on the wine list. Petrit our waiter that evening is a great guy, attentive, quick and always approachable if you have a question. He and his wife gave us more than good advice and looked after us during our stay. Thank you for this experience.
Everything about this place is amazing. The waiter we had twice was amazing, the food delicious and the ambiance on firm. This is true Italian in a gorgeous quaint little village. Just stunning thank you so much for treating us Kiwi tourists as real people. We dined here twice and if we were local we would be back every day. Mille Grazie.. Vi auguro tutto il meglio 🤩
We ate here three times in our two week stay and this is a lively local trattoria serving uncomplicated but well cooked, flavoursome food with very generous portions and offers fantastic value. Friendly staff always managed to find us a table even on a Saturday night. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant in a truly great location. Exceptional and not to be missed.
Very kind service. But the food was fenomenal, sooo tastefull and good. I will be come back one day
We visited the restaurant in August, we had a nice dinner, tasteful local wine, great tiramisu and panna cotta. We also enjoyed live music on that night. Pietro was the BEST WAITER EVER! we never saw that fast waiter in our lives!
Nice, cosy restaurant. We were there last friday for our last dinner in Italy and we were absolutely thrilled. The waiter was amazing, keeping smile for the whole time and eventhough he did not spoke english, he was trying his best to understand our needs. We also got the small aperitive drink from him after we eat. The pizza was great. We deffinitely come back.
Lovely customer service. The owner plays and sings (even songs on request). The food was beyond delicious. Especially the Capunsei (the best pasta I ever had!) typical of the area. The polenta and the potato tortino were ridiculously good. And the sbriciolona is a must try! Definitely recommend it.
We spent a week in the area in this was the restaurant we liked the most. All the chosen dishes were very good both for adults and children. Would be happy to return next time we're in the area.
We stayed at a walking distance and had dinner there two nights in a row. The atmosphere was amazing with live music and a really nice vibe of a local restaurant. We had many of the starters, the steaks , lamb chops , grilled chicken, pizza and desserts and everything was very good. The service was great and super friendly. We hope to come back soon
Good food and even better wine. I recommend the horse steak. We loved the singing guy even it was a bit chaotic, very Italian.
Food was lovely, great service and the outdoor seating area is just beautiful with a great atmosphere. Definitely need to reserve a table as the restaurant is very popular especially on the weekend.
Traditional Italian restaurant inside an old building, probably a castle or something similar judging by the walls. The food is great and reasonably priced. I loved their Ravioli. However, the Risotto was too bland for my taste. It would've been great if they also added some veggies to it.
Tasty food, reasonable prices. I tried tortellini (agnoli) and stracotto d’asino - two dishes I incidentally am extremely familiar with - and both were really good: the taste was there, the textures were right (maybe with this small ammendment: I am used to have grilled polenta with the stracotto, at least that's how they do it just 5 km away, but I can accept that traditions vary from village to village and normal soft polenta went fine as well), al in all I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed less (hence one star missing - more like 1.5 stars) was the atmosphere: the staff was professional but not necessarily hospitable unless you were not (and I was not) a regular; the interactions with the waiter were very brief, as if he wanted to finish the "offer the menu - take the order - take away the menu - bring the order" tasks as soon as possible, without letting much room for a dialogue. No smiles whatsoever, of course. I use to ask the staff various things about the food I'm eating, about how they prepare it etc., but in this case that didn't feel welcome, so I didn't even try. Another awkward moment happened when, after accompanying my Merlot with a cig on the terrace at the end of the dinner, I re-entered the restaurant: moments later, a gentleman who sat right next to the door (a regular, apparently) simply locked it with a rather blatant attitude, as if he was the owner of the place and he wanted to clearly point out that he did not want to be disturbed by the autumn temperatures from outside; not that I lingered in the door for ages (it took me literally 2 seconds to get in), not that there was freezing outside (some 17C); yet, no member of the staff reacted in any way. Last but not least, the moment when a guy (the real owner?) started to sing is a bit difficult to me to clasify: it was also somewhat awkward, but he had a good voice.
Went for dinner, found the restaurant almost empty and i kind of understood why. The waiters are kind and fast, and the place itself has got a good atmosphere, but the food doesn't earn the crown. We took 2 kinds of pasta, polenta with mushrooms , a platter of cold cuts and a tiramisú. The pasta with the venison ragú was acceptable but didn't feel fresh. The "trecciote alla ricotta"( a stuffed pasta with cheese) had no flavour at all. The cold cuts were okay. The polenta tasted really cheap and was eay too oily. The tiramisù was acid and didn't taste good. I'm not coming back, but might be a good place for a glass of wine in the afternoon.
Food was good. Service could be better. Hugh difference how you get treated if you are Italian or foreign. I won't come back. There are many places I rather spend my money.
