We found this place by mistake and it’s our first time here !The burgers here are amazing the lettuce is really fresh and the buns are nice and toasted while also being really light ! 10/10 would recommend the bacon burgers. Would definitely go here again.

My husband and I ordered from one of the owners. The other owner was on site as well. Noted because many small businesses do not have the owners greeting the customers. We ordered tacos and a bowl of beans. All were excellent! The ceviche was “in production” so I will order that next time I am in the area. I have no doubt that will taste excellent as well. Love to support small, family owned businesses that take pride in their food and service.

Best tacos in Pismo Beach!! Seriously the best! Butter beef tacos are amazing. The shrimp tacos have giant shrimp. The tortillas are homemade. Everything is made right there and so authentic. The pazole is the best Ive ever had. The owner is an amazing host! Whether your local or visiting if you dont try this place your missing out!!!

Honestly, we came back we wanted some authentic Mexican street food. And yup that tacos were delicious. The service was great loved the vibes and everything else. The food was decently priced for being bu the ocean. Couldn't beat it. Would come again for sure!

Delicious tacos that were made so fresh and hot with so much flavor. The shrimp taco was so succulent and the pork was perfectly seasoned. Also the owners wife’s cupcakes were delicious! I didn’t expect it but the cupcakes were perfectly moist and sweet but not overly sweet, and so delicious with the strawberry and lemon frosting, would recommend!!

Came to grab some tacos on a Thursday night and found a lovely family vibe and quite wonderful food. The veggie, potato and butter beef tacos all hit the spot perfectly, chips and guacamole super solid. Great spot!

As a vegetarian, there was only one taco option. Some reviews mentioned that you can get potato taco with veggie option, but the guy at the register said that’s not the case as chorizo is mixed in with the potato. The 3 salsas - mild, hot, extra hot were all very good. Chips and guacamole is good too. There are some tables there but we opted for takeout. Overall, a strong option for a quick lunch.

Papi’s Grill is a solid spot for quality, authentic Mexican food. The guy working there was super friendly, and the food came out fast. Affordable and plenty of outdoor seating too! I tried the potato tacos, which was a new experience for me—not sure I’d get them again, but it was fun to try something different. I also got the three-taco deal with butter beef and carnitas. I usually go for carnitas, but the butter beef stole the show—so juicy and flavorful. The chips tasted house-made, the guac was super fresh, and they had a ton of sauces to choose from (just ask the guy at the front). Loved my lunch here and will definitely be back!

Love Papi's. Never disappoints. The favorite in our house is the 3 butter beef tacos for $7.50. The tortilla seems homemade, with a regular sized yellow corn tortilla. The beef is melt in your mouth yummy,, topped with tiny red onions and some cilantro. Today, we tried a shrimp taco and it was good. The shrimp wasn't real seasoned but it came with a nice creamy sauce and black beans. We added some of their awesome salsa and it was tasty. The parking is easy. Not a ton of places but there is plenty of very close street parking. If you are handicapped, I feel you should be able to gain access just fine from the street and parking lot. However, you'll need to open the door, it's manual. There is a small patio with heaters and a small inside area to eat. You can call ahead for your food, which a lot of people do. Everyone I've taken there, LOVES the food and friendly service. A local institution since 2015. Highly recommend you check em out!
