Osteria Dall'Orso Prarostino Reviews
Excellent Piedmontese osteria. Friendly staff and fair prices. The quality and quantity of the food are excellent.
An old-fashioned trattoria with a simple but elegant atmosphere. Excellent food (with a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses). Perfect value for money. I recommend it.
An old-fashioned, family-run restaurant on the hill of San Secondo di Pinerolo, with very friendly and welcoming owners.
The trattoria serves Piedmontese cuisine made with local ingredients. The Sunday menu includes a choice of four appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses with side dishes, and a variety of desserts. The dishes may seem simple, but chef Danilo makes them special with a truly interesting touch of originality. The wines are excellent, and especially the desserts; we ended the meal with a truly exquisite chestnut cake. And finally, thanks again to Elisa for her hospitality and kindness. We'll definitely be back.
Ok
I was pleasantly surprised by the unique menu, but I must say the homemade gnocchi topped with bagna cauda were amazing! They were delicious! Quality home cooking, excellent service, and the waitress, or perhaps the owner, was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Simply top!!! We ordered bagna cauda for four people over the phone and were delighted with the exceptional result. I've never had such a good, light bagna cauda with so many vegetables. Excellent service; the girl who served us was kind, professional, and very helpful, as was the host. The appetizers were also excellent. It was truly a great discovery; I live in San Secondo and had never tried this Osteria; all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Very, very good! Very fair prices. The only advice I would give is to add a pellet stove; one probably isn't enough. Highly recommended!
Very nice food for reasonable price. Recommended!
Top!
Sunday, September 18th, lunch for two. Appetizer: Fassona tartare with hazelnuts and bagna couda with peppers. 2 ravioli with Castelmagno cheese and hazelnuts. 1 rabbit with olives. 2 side dishes: green beans and polenta. 1/2 liter of red wine on tap, 1 liter of still water. 2 desserts: almond cake with zabaglione. I spent €65. Everything was delicious, I recommend it. The service was excellent, courtesy of the owner's kind and gracious daughter, who is also the chef.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday, November 20, 2021, with my nephew. The restaurant is pleasantly rustic, with tables well spaced apart and quiet, thanks to the few customers on the date of my visit. The menu is predominantly Piedmontese: the platters are good and quite generous, the duck breast is delicious, and the tagliata is remarkable. The wine list is well-stocked and reasonably priced, featuring the most well-represented local wines. The service is very discreet, with the waitress friendly and attentive. Good value for money. The only flaw: we were asked if we had a Green Pass when booking, but it wasn't checked. I hope it was an oversight. Rating: 8
