Often, when we go to "renowned" places, we expect the staff to function like precision machines. But at Hackl, I've learned to appreciate the humanity of the service. It's a busy bakery, and sometimes you see them rushing around. However, my experience has taught me that the way they treat you is a mirror: I've noticed that when I greet them with a smile and understand that they might be dealing with a hot oven or a long line, the response is always genuinely warm. They are human beings who, just like us, have stressful days and joyful days. I once asked about the difference between their flours, and despite having people waiting, the young man who served me took a moment to proudly explain what he was selling. You can tell they've received training, but above all, that they value their craft. Sometimes the coffee takes a little longer, or the packaging is meticulous. I've learned not to see it as slowness, but as the care of someone who doesn't want to deliver a spoiled product. It's easy to forget that behind every perfect croissant is someone who got up at 4 a.m. At Hackl, I've received respectful and professional service, and I like to remember that they deserve that same patience and courtesy from us beyond the counter.

Hackl is a wonderful European-style bakery that truly stands out. Everything from the service to the presentation feels thoughtful and authentic. The passion fruit pie I tried was exceptional — tangy, creamy, and with a perfect crust. The marzipan conchas deserve special mention too: soft on the inside, beautifully sweet, and full of flavor.

Passion fruit and coconut cake was the one I bought for 430 pesos, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It had a balanced flavor, the perfect touch of notes, and above all, it didn't have the excessive amount of sugar and sweeteners that are usually added to similar cakes on this street. It's worth it for a special occasion, like my birthday celebration. I recommend this branch; I don't know about the others.

I think few places in Puebla have good artisanal bread, and Hackl is undoubtedly the best. Their products are fantastic, and I'm sure they use top-quality ingredients because it shows. The sweet bread is also a must-try. My favorites are rye bread and croissants. But the ciabatta is a staple for everyday use.

Ideal for coffee and bread. Hackl offers a wide variety of breads, both sweet and savory, all of which are very flavorful. The service is good, although they don't have a physical menu. And there are some areas where they could improve (cleanliness in the restroom, for example).

On January 2nd, we called to ask if they had Rosca de Reyes (Three Kings' Bread) and they confirmed that they did. Upon arriving at the store, we specifically asked if the Rosca was fresh that day, and again they assured us that it was. Unfortunately, when we cut into it, it was obvious that it wasn't fresh: it was dry, lacking the sponginess that characterizes freshly baked bread. Honestly, it didn't even seem like it was from the day before, but rather from at least two days prior. This is a bakery I used to really like, but it's incredibly disappointing to pay for a product that doesn't meet the expected quality, and even more so when they lie about the production date. This erodes customer trust. I'm leaving this review so that other consumers are aware, especially since many Rosca de Reyes are consumed during this time of year. Perhaps they offer fresh product on the 5th and 6th, but before or after those dates, it's questionable.

The thin, gray-haired young man who works there provides terrible customer service. He has a smug look on his face and treats you like he's always in a bad mood. I'm a regular customer, and it's always the same. There have been other people who work there, and they provide decent service (not great, just okay), but with this guy, I recommend minimal interaction. He gets annoyed when people ask him about prices and products (by phone or in person). Awful. I only go there for the product.
