Als Vegetarierin bekommt man in diesem Restaurant eine gute Auswahl von mehr als 7 Varianten geboten. Der Service war auch top. Es gab live Musik, was super ist, jedoch für unseren Geschmack zu laut. Wir konnten uns fast nicht mehr unterhalten. Aber das ist überhaupt keine Kritik an den Musiker, sondern einzig an die Lautstärke 😉

Food, drink, and service was phenomenal. André was lovely. Ceviche and arrachera tacos were sublime. Tequila for karaoke makes for a fun time.

This is a friendly, laid back restaurant with wonderful drinks and a variety of things to eat! David is a great server! We had a relaxing, delicious time!

Un lugar donde puedes llegar solo, en pareja o con toda tu familia. La comida y servicio son excelentes, si vienes de fiesta cierran bastante tarde y te atienden de manera espectacular todo el tiempo.

El servicio fue encantador. Nos trató el chico llamado André y fue súper servicial y amable. Hoy había música de rock en inglés y pop lo cual son mis géneros favoritos que hasta sentí que estaban poniendo música de mi playlist de Spotify. Pedí unos tacos de carne hechos a mano y estuvo 20/10 🔥 y también comí unas alitas con salsa bbq y papas fritas que estaban riquísimas. Recomiendo 100% en venir a este restaurante Maíz Maix. Vine por segunda vez el 26 de diciembre, y esta vez ordené tacos de pollo y de mero empanado. TODO RIQUÍSIMO! Me atendió el mismo mesero, Andre, y wow! De maravilla! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Desde el momento en que entramos, el ambiente acogedor del restaurante nos hizo sentir como en casa. El servicio fue impecable, con un personal atento y profesional que nos hizo sentir bien atendidos durante toda la velada. Mención especial a Esteban, Ale y Jimena El menú ofrece una gran variedad de opciones, todas preparadas con ingredientes frescos y de calidad. Probamos diversos pkatos. Los sabores estaban perfectamente equilibrados y la presentación del plato era impecable. Además, el vino de Chile fue fantàstico, ideal para acompañar cualquier comida. El postre también fue un cierre perfecto para una cena excelente. Sin duda, volveremos. Un lugar perfecto para una noche especial o para disfrutar de una comida deliciosa en cualquier ocasión.

We were staying just across the street and liked the look of Maiz-Maix for a quick meal. The food was excellent with reasonable prices and the drinks were two-for-one (Mojitos, Mezcal, and Margaritas). Our server (Ximena) was very personable and a lot of fun and promoted a relaxed atmosphere. For street-side dining I highly recommend a visit.

The live music created a perfect atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the tequila was served ice-cold – just the way it should be! ​One of the best parts is that you can sit back, enjoy the evening, and smoke right at the table. Most other bars and restaurants don't allow this anymore, so it’s a big plus for us. Definitely coming back!

Stumbled on this place this time which was our 2nd visit to Puerto Morelos. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel very welcomed. Explained all the food and the menu. Excellent customer service. Ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. He was showing his 15 year old son the ropes while we were there..which btw the son was so polite and did a great job also. Proud papa for sure. Food and drink was above and beyond. Informed us that he would be working on opening a 2nd location. Hoping to go there the next time we visit. 👍 Highly recommend this place if you visit this area.

THE best food spot in Puerto Morelos! Of course it is in the eye of the beholder and some might argue there to be other places quite high up on everybodys lists, but you can not beat this experience, trust me. We were lucky enough to score a table right when visiting the first time and had been there every other day during our two week holiday. You will be received with a warm welcome, the team just enjoy having and hosting you, quick with tips if you can't decide thanks to the huge selection. Drinks are quite amazing, right off the bat. I urge you to have at least nachos with guacamole for starters, it is hands-down the best guac we had (and we tried quite a few). Whatever else you should chose, will be cooked up fresh on either the grill or kitchen and one dish more mouth watering than the other. We had them all, quesadillas, tostadas, tacos, you name it, we had it and heaps of it! The team is just a bunch of warm, friendly and amazing people, even if we just came by for drinks, they were happy to see us, chat and yeah - sing later on! Big shout out to Freddy for a job well done, Alejandro for being the most passionate musician we had the pleasure to listen to and Andres - best junior boss ever!! Give them a chance, enjoy your food and good company, this location is unassuming, but so so worth it!

Went with my fiancé and the owner and staff was so attentive and kind. We even had a personal conversation with our server. The food was great, authentic and we loved the guacamole and quesadillas! Worth a stop if you’re in the area! Also if you drink ask for a tequila recommendation, you won’t be disappointed

The service was exceptional. 6 drinks (4 alcoholic), starter, 3 meals. The music provided by Alexis with acoustic guitar was a wonderful low key background. When you go, ask for Ximena. She made the whole experience.

Ja ja estaba todo muy sabroso que lo terminamos todo! Nuestro amigo sintió muy picante (es extranjero) la mayonesa chipotle y super amables se llevaron sus tacos y los arreglaron para que pudiera disfrutar su comida . Da gusto encontrar donde cenar rico en Puerto Morelos!

La comida y los bebestibles están bien. El ambiente y el servicio excelentes, muy amables, y con un muy buen ambiente si quieres quedarte largo rato ahí.

Es un bar al aire libre, donde tuvimos una mala experiencia de ver como dos mujeres se peleaban y no se soltaban del cabello

El lugar bien, el servicio de Jimena excelente, desgraciadamente es la ultima vez que volvemos es triste que su servicio se enfoque en los extranjeros, evidentemente es su fuente de ingreso pero de manera personal les sugiero cuiden a sus comensales más frecuentes (locales), fue triste regresar por las tostadas de atún que tanto nos gustaban y encontrarnos con unas mini tostadas que parecen de degustación, sin la frescura por la cual volvimos, las bebidas mal ( mi agua de mango) un jugo tipo Boing que no me agradó, definitivamente ya no puedo recomendarlos más, ojalá este comentario sirva para mejorar porque en algún momento fueron los mejores 👍🏻

La verdad la comida no tiene sabor, el agua fresca es deliciosa preparada al momento, el agua embotellada es excesivamente cara y el ambiente es super bueno con música en vivo las chicas que atienden son super amables. En conclusión es un lugar malo para comer es caro pero para divertirse ea una buena opción.

Amazing wonderful and friendly servers. The atmosphere was great because of the nice servers. Unfortunately the arrachera was bland and some of the meat was not edible. The quesadilla was dry with little flavour. The food overall was average at best.
