Wonderful service. Food was awesome! Thank you for making our 15 year anniversary wonderful. Our waiter was kind enough to bring out a desert with a pink and blue set of candles. Sorry, we missed pictures of the delicious main course.

We've seen many reviews and we're anxious to try this fine dining restaurant. Well let me tell you words and photos cannot and do not do this place justice! Karlines is an amazing food and dining experience. Hunter was our server and his attention and personality is absolutely perfect. He was always there at the perfect time and engaged in wonderful conversations. Now let's talk about the food. We started with the cranberry apple walnut salad. We did substitute blue cheese for the feta, but hands down this is the most amazing salad we have ever experienced! The next course was bread and house made soup. The soup of the day was minestrone, not my favorite, until tonight! The bread, dip and soup complimented each other perfectly. On to the entree, chicken marsala. Chicken and heavenly sauce over mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and perfectly prepared Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and carrots. All this with a bottle of perfectly chilled bottle of pinot grigio! We couldn't even finish it all but dinner was so fantastic, we had to get a lemon cheesecake to go! If in Redding California, do not miss out on a chance to experience dining at its finest! Consistently fantastic fare everytime we visit. Excellent staff and absolutely delectable fare. As we slowly work our way through the entire menu, every single single item we've tried has been perfect, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Our favorite dining experience in town.

Tonight my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Karline’s. Neither of us had ever been before, so we were excited to check it out. I called around 4pm hoping to snag a 6pm reservation, and while they were booked, they had a 6:30 available—which worked out perfectly. When we pulled into the parking lot and saw it was packed, I took that as a very good sign. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess with a gorgeous smile and welcoming energy. We let her know about our reservation and were seated right away. The restaurant was full of happy diners, and despite the cozy space, it wasn’t loud or chaotic. The dim lighting and romantic atmosphere made it feel like the perfect date night spot. We kicked things off with the fried artichokes (highly recommend!), and stuck with water to drink. For dinner, I went with the Cranberry Chicken Salad paired with a cup of minestrone soup, while my husband opted for the ribeye steak with added mushrooms and a side salad. Everything came out in perfect timing—first the appetizer, then some warm bread and our soup/salad, and finally our entrees. The service was smooth and unhurried, which I appreciated. When the main dishes arrived, we were both surprised by how generous the portions were. My salad was crisp, fresh, and dressed just right. And my husband’s steak? Cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We were so tempted by the crème brûlée but too full to take it on this time—next visit, for sure. The total bill came to $100, which is pretty average for a nice dinner these days. All in all, we give Karline’s a solid 10/10. If you're looking for a delicious meal and a cozy date night vibe, definitely give them a try!

Absolutely loved my dinner tonight. Shrimp Alfredo and our starters were fried artichokes and calamari. Katie was our server and she was the bomb. Forgot to take a picture of our starters. Definitely will be back. Can’t forget Jessica either cause she is always a delight too. Thank you to the chefs you guys were busy and our meal was perfect.

I can't say enough great things about Karline's. We had appetizers, drinks, dinner, and dessert and it was all exceptional. The delicious meal was made even better by some of the best service I've ever received. Nichole was our waitress and she was fantastic. Always appearing at just the right moment without ever being too much. Amanda was also around regularly to ensure anything we needed was handled. The food isn't cheap, but considering the quality and quantity of the dishes served the prices were very reasonable.

Only reason I didn't go 5 stars is the Jambalaya wasn't what I expected. But I found out it was done right! So I'm changing the star rating from 4 to a 5. They knew what they were doing. I had the Jambalaya wrong. The Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, and Chicken Quinoa were excellent. The waitress was top notch, great. Had another great dinner last night.8-11-23 Everything was very tasty and had great service.

Went for our 18th anniversary. We got seated immediately without reservations. I suggest having a reservation if going after 6 pm. Quick service with amazing waiter named Hunter. Our meals were so delicious. Salad with crumble blue cheese...

Another delicious dinner at Karline’s. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Redding! The atmosphere is intimate and the food is amazing. Our server Mike was wonderful, and very attentive. Highly recommend the Steamed Clams!!

If you are on Redding I would highly suggest this Italian restaurant. One of the best services I ever received. The food portions were really good. Food was very tasty. We asked them no meat pasta as we are vegetarian and they were kind enough to replace them with seasonal veggies which most of the restaurants don't, resulting in smaller portions. They quickly tended to all our baby's needs like cups with a swirly straw and cutlery for our one year old.

Most excellent service! The food? Unbelievably savory! We had their mouth watering steamed clams to start, followed by a Cobb salad with blackened chicken and shrimp scampi. It was phenomenal. Don't miss your new favorite cocktail: the blackberry lavender lemon drop! It's like a Wonka invention- the myriad of flavors, in just the right order, and in just the right amount, will have you completely amazed. The atmosphere at Karline's is visually fancy, yet feels very relaxed, with just a touch of reserve, creating the ambiance for a truly perfect dining experience! 5+ stars! Oh yes, and there is plenty of parking!

Went to View 202 to celebrate my husband's birthday. There was a 45 min wait so we decided to try a new place. Googled and found this gem! It may not have the view element but the food was 10 times better then view202!!! What a find!! This will definitely be our new place to go for celebration and when relatives come to town!! The staff couldn't have been nicer too. We did not have reservations but they sat us right away.

A place to take your best girl. Classy appointments, superior &friendly staff, first rate chow and you can both have ice cream for a light desert for less than the price of three scoops at Rite Aid. Soup & half sandwich of the day is a real bargain ($10) and you won't be hungry, I promise. The meat on my sandwich stuck out all around. Fancy enough for an aniversary but I don't know if they can hit your back-to-work target if you're in a hurry. Say hi to Jeremy for me. DOUG out

You have a choice of soup or salad (what a rarity these days) and the homemade blue cheese was great. I tried some of my friend's soup of the day and it was great. I was shocked when I walked into this restaurant. I knew that they had changed locations, aiming towards a better atmosphere for their customers. It was just stunning the moment you walked in the door. Classy, clean, the hostess met us with a smile. We were sat in the first few minutes and breakfast was on our table when we were done with our 1st cup of coffee. The corn beef and hash is excellent! This is definitely my new go to spot for a fabulous breakfast!

This was a decent restaurant in general, but probably very good for northern CA standards. Parking was easy in their own lot. Overall I would recommend this place. We had minestrone soup which was a solid classic. The creamy carrot soup sounded interesting, but the flavor was kind of weird. It tasted like I was drinking Mac and cheese. The burrata caprese was great, but I do love my burrata salads. It was loaded with many different things but I don’t think Apple goes in this dish. Chicken Marsala was decent. Mashed potatoes aren’t that great. Pan seared bistro filet was decent as well, aside from the mashed potatoes. The sauce makes the mashed potatoes better but by self it seemed underseasoned. The free focaccia bread could be better.

This is a good dinner spot - a variety of dishes to choose from. The service is great and friendly. The restaurant feels a bit cramped, especially during dinner service. But overall good food and worth a try.

Great service. Minestrone soup was really bland, probably microwaved. The shrimp in my shrimp scampi was fine but the noodles and sauce tasted like lemon soap, really strong and offputting initial taste. Highlight was the bread.

I went here expecting a wonderful meal and it was only average. Not bad but not good either. The calamari appetizer had very little calamari but added onions, jalapeños and garlic to make it look bigger. Would not have ordered had I known. The atmosphere was visually appealing but it was so loud I couldn't hear or talk to my date. Location was hard to find and the building had no signs that I could find until getting to the door and seeing a small sign. For the price unsure if I'll return 😒 maybe it was an "off night"?
