I was at this location on the 17th of this month ....my experience I will describe it as a nightmare. I ordered the 2 piece chicken with the 2 sides and a sugar free/diet coke, I got my food however, it literally took 40 minutes for my drink. None of the workers knew how to work the drink machine...one was looking to another.. dumbfounded. I was frustrated by the time that I had to wait. I had just transported a psychic patient to Williamsburg, va from HaIifax County va...this was not my first time at a Popeyes restaurant but this was the worst group of workers that I have seen....definitely inexperienced. When asked if I could be reimbursed for my drink since there was no diet drink available: no was their answer...You see I'm diabetic. Please look into this matter.

Nothing bad at this location but Ghost pepper wings WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t get! Very small wings that’s its only $5.00 lucky I got fries. The wings tasted bad and no flavor at all. Tasted frozen. Gas station chicken wings tasted better than that! fries was the only thing that was good!

I ordered the 8 PC chicken with 4 biscuits. It was supposed to have 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 legs, and 2 wings. I received 4 thighs and 4 breasts, and NO biscuits. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes, which I almost didn't get. In addition, the young lady at the drive-thru was rude and seemed to not want to be bothered. When I realized that all I had was a flat box, which I assumed contained my chicken and biscuits, I asked if my mashed potatoes were in there as well. Without speaking a word, she picked up another bag and presented it to me. NEVER AGAIN!!! Customer service, people!

This was the best experience I have ever received at a fast food...let alone a Popeyes. The Popeyes in our area (Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach) come no where close to this Richmond Popeyes. The food was amazing and fresh. They were busy for lunch hour and the day before Thanksgiving, yet the service was still friendly and fast. I definitely will be going out of my way to go here again. Loyal customer for life.

This evening I went thru drive thru after coming home from ER (everything ok) but i had no food in my house and SS (cuz Im old!) doesn’t come in for 2 more days. I asked thru order mic, what can I get for $10? It wasn’t easy but Tori worked with me to find a special or whatever would work with my momentary budget. She was so kind! Beyond polite and an absolutely pure Angel! She filled my heart with good just by her patience and good will towards me. She did this thinking I’m a white wan when in fact I am 20% sister. Not that that makes a difference but she treated me with respect and kindness when they are different ways she could have gone! Thank you TORI! You are a truly wonderful woman!

Feb 6, 2025- I went to this location to pickup an order and there was about seven or more door dashers that were there to pick up their orders, however the Assistant Manager Khaliff did a wonderful job fulfilling these orders with limited of staff. Excellent customer service and job well done 👏.

The young ladies at the counter were very polite and acknowledged each customer that was in line. They explained what they were doing to keep everyone calm and aware of the situation as it was a very busy night in the drive thru and inside. Whomever the manager was this night was running a ver deficient ship. Every employee was playing their part to supply the demand of the night. Food was fresh and hot. Very good service. 4 stars because the young man at the register kind of was not on the wagon with the rest of the staff for the night. He kind of disappeared when the two young ladies needed the help. And I don't think it was for a break. The manager did not seem to be the type to put staff needs over customer's during an influx of customers. Overall very pleasant and quick experience. Will definitely return. Much much much better than other Popeyes in the Richmond area. Great customer service.

The order taker was very polite and professional. The cashier did not engage me or even make eye contact. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside without being greasy, and hot and tender on the inside. The biscuit was flaky and buttery. The mashed potatoes was hot and had a delicious gravy over them. Parking lot is a little tight, but manageable. Very quick service. I was in and out of the drive-thru line in 2 minutes.

No complaints, although I didn't order anything, the people I was with, order a family meal. The attendant assumed on a "Saturday" after-noon, that it was going to be a 2pc and biscuit I guess, because when they said I'll order the Family 24 piece they panicked and said there wasn't enough chicken ready, so they would have to wait 15 to 20 mins. When they asked about the "New Ghost Pepper Wings" they did have any selling points or information on how hot it actual would be. A little disappointing, not having product information. Instead of asking someone they recommended to buy another meal. These are not negatives about the business nor is it about the food. This is directed to management. Proper training comes from the top. If the owners care, the manger will care, if they do then everyone under will care too. on a side note: Out the building and round the property could use some cleaning and even powerwashing the dirty drive up trashcans would be great too. Little things matter!!!

Ordered on the app, and that went very smoothly. Got to the druve thru intercom, and it took probably 5 to 10 minutes before someone addressed me over the intercom, and then I sat behind another car for over 10 minutes for them to get their order, and when I got to the window, the associate gave me a total, and I had to tell her I was a mobile pick up, as she had no idea. Then I was asked to pull up to wait, and that was another 10 minutes or longer. I live 5 minutes from this location, and from the time I left my house & got back home, it was 45 minutes! It's way too long to wait for food. The food was good, although the wings were mostly batter & very little meat, and the tenders were the same way. Our chicken sandwiches were OK. I'm just disappointed in the quality of the food for the prices you charge.

Popeyes has wings called Ghost pepper wings. They come in different flavors. They're so good a lil spicy though. If you like party wings you'll luv this. If you look on the back of the receipt there's a survey . If you buy a drink with the survey filled out. You can get 2 pieces of chicken and a Biscuit free.

Everything was top tier EXCEPT for the wait on the food. Make the order at 2:50 to pick up at 3:35. Got there at 3:41 to wait for 23 minutes until I got my food. The service was great, people were nice, and even accommodated with a large portion for my wait, but will the timing was pretty bad. I still will go back to see it maybe this was a one time thing during a busy time, but this is my first experience and can only go by what happened. Food was fresh and hot too, so no complaints on anything aside from the time it took.

I went 2 days in a row. The picture is from the first day. And the service on that day was fantastic. The lady who helped me was wonderful, her name is Davina. Second day service was just ok. It took a while for the food. Some of the workers seemed a little confused. But with all of that I'd go back. It won't be any time soon, before this time I haven't been in months. Overall still worth going.

Drive through was packed inside closed on a Sunday at 5pm. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous for what is probably one of their busiest days. The drive through moved surprisingly fast and the drive through cashier was friendly and Maurice is always awesome. This is probably the best Popeyes in the east end.

The wait is usually long from speaker to the window. My recent visit I order the number 9, which is the catfish sandwich combo. When received my food it was fish, shrimp and fries. I was down the street nearly home when I checked my food, I wasn't going back. The food I had taste good but it wasnt what I ordered.

Food was fine. 5 or more of us were in the lobby and it took a long time. It was as if it was closing time. One cashier and she was doing the best she could taking orders and trying to get orders out. Someone eventually came up I said everyone ordered we're just waiting for food. Oh the worker that went on break got her food. Shouldn't have to wait on chicken in a chicken restaurant.

Was busy, but the drive thru line moved fast. The shrimp was not bad, but it was tasteless. Beans and rice were good though. If we are in the east Richmond area, we may stop by again to see if the food is better next time. No complaints on the service we received.

Not always the best service. If you go during peak hours, double check your order. Always make sure the chicken is fresh too. We've been served some chicken several times that had been under the heat lamps far too long. When we go now we always wait for a fresh batch to come up before we order. They are so busy that it's usually not a long wait.

Spend more time on the customers right in front of you and less on your pick up customers and I'd give a better review. On person at a busy time of day taking orders, I don't want to use your damn app I want a real person to greet me and take my order quickly. The food was good as it usually is that's why I return, but if the service remains poor I'll make different decisions in the future.

Haven't been to a Popeyes in quite awhile. Perfect chaotic storm, no ice in soda machine (several patrons complained to management), online order not ready when customer arrived and my order was missing food items. But, I did get french fries that I didn't order. Guess I shoukd have checked order before exiting store..won't be going back!!

Always service with an attitude at this place. They took my order and never asked my preference. When I told them I wanted spicy chicken, they said they were all out. I think they should have had a sign posted or at least tell me before I order.

Drive thru was busy and waited over 5 minutes before having order taken. When I got to the window and asked for a Coke instead of Sprite because their Sprite was flat, the woman snatched the cup from my hands and rolled her eyes. When she returned the drink, she slammed the drive thru window closed and ignored me, not even asking if I needed anything else. Absolutely pathetic and childish. Whoever the manager is needs to do a better job at teaching their employees about respecting the customer or get rid of them.

Food was excellent. However, they did not have enough drum sticks that I ordered and was told I had to wait 15 minutes. While I was waiting, 2 people dining in and one take out, had to bring their order back to get it corrected. Then After the chicken was ready and dumped into the tray, I had to asked where my order was. So my order was prepared and off I went 25 minutes later.

Service was okay, but it can be better! Food was served warm, not hot. Soda was water-down, didn't know, until I got home. Just took it as a lost, will not go back there anymore. Future customers, check your order before leaving, make sure that your beverage is what you ordered.

Staff is very short with their customers. Waited 40 minutes in the drive through for two meals. Staff forgot our order and sauce, and we waited another 5 minutes for that to be fixed. The only reason why this isn't a 1-star review is because the food was good.

The lady on the speaker had a nice attitude and good mannerism, but the service is SUPER SLOW. The employees play around and talk too much that they can't get people food out accordingly or fast. Extremely unacceptable wait time plus how do you never have chicken ready, when you sell chicken all day

I'm afraid to post this, but this is my Popeyes! Food is always good. The problem is the delivery. And it's a big problem! There seems to be a lot of staff. There seems to be a lot of food all ready cooked and ready to go. We can see it in the bin! They need to take more orders than just one at a time. Also, the drive thru is wrapped around the building. There needs to be more space between the menu board and window to give kitchen time to react. One day this will make sense, and everyone will be happy. Staff and customers. As of today, the best I can hope for, frustrated while eating good food. Not the worst

I would have given this restaurant at least a 4 star . The management I think has taken advantage of covid 19 by not hiring enough help and shutting the front door so consequently everyone has to use the drive through and wait a long time to be served. Too long for a piece of chicken my friend. Stop this foolishness and lets get down to business. If anyone likes to how they catch the chicken and then clean and fry it, go here, they show you. Make sure you have plenty time since you will need it.😄

I am not sure if the recipe has been changed but, this was the 2nd Popeyes I'd been to in tge last month and the chicken isn't spicy anymore! The don't ask for your preference of mild or spicy and the chicken isn't seasoned with basic salt and pepper either. Very disappointing.

Can I just get a partial refund at this point. Like who do we need to speak with? We sat in drive thru at the speaker and waited for them to have time to take our order. She suggested something different but I regretted taking it because it seemed to make things more difficult. They forgot what the 2 drinks we ordered in the short time from the speaker to the window. We had to wait a bit for them to get our food together and we still left with out half our order!. The whole time we were there the one lady was griping about them needing to hire more people to work so she isn't working like a slave. And how this isn't her only job. She has to work with Autistic people during the day at her other job the she turn around and has to work with 'autistic' people at Popeyes because non of her co workers seem to have sense. Smh. I called about the missing items when we got home. The 1st try someone picked up and didn't say anything. The second time the phone just rang. It sucks to pay for food that you don't even get to eat. It's been a long day and I didn't want all these shenanigans.

It was the lunch rush, what can I say? I only got half my order at first. The cashier informed the lady assembling them that there was a second combo. After waiting for the rest of my order, I discovered that both sandwiches were incorrect. The cashier personally went back and made the correct sandwiches for me. I appreciate her very much.

Probably the worst fast food experience I've ever had. Almost my entire order was wrong, and it took almost an hour for my mobile order to be finished. Staff was fairly rude as well. What items were correctly included were clearly not fresh and were a massive rip-off. I don't know if I've ever had worse chicken tenders in my life. The app gives you coupons if you complain, but I don't even want to go back so it's pretty useless.

I ordered through door dash for my children and i and there were no drinks, no sauces, and the chicken tenders were so dry my children couldn’t even eat them. This is so disappointing because i love the chicken sandwich which looks absolutely nothing like the tenders we received. Thank god the chicken sandwiches were buy one get one because they wouldn’t have had anything to eat otherwise. And that’s the only reason they get a 2 because the sandwiches were good.

Strong management needed! Restaurant is poorly run! The dining area had dirty tables and there was spilled soda on the floor that had dried and was quite sticky. A female worker was angry because her manager wanted her to clean the mess. A male worker was having a conversation and cursing loud enough so that the customers could hear it. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I would not recommend this place until management changes are made.

I was on the drive through line and I placed 2 orders 3 piece combo. Both sides were the same red beans & rice and Cole slaw only received rice and beans for one order, the biscuit was dark and dry and the tea was unsweetened should have been sweet.

I have say..... The young lady at the drive trough window was nice. I was kinda excited because it was 8ish pm and I thought me chicken would be fresh and hot. It was old and tried out. So I thought maybe it was just 1 piece. NO ALL SEEMED DRY OLD and maybe warm due to a heat lamp. This ruined it for me. I'm done. Never going here again. It messed up my taste for Popeyes so bad that when I think about it I feel ..... 😖🤭🤢

The drive thru cashier was friendly when she gave me my food. I didn't like the sweet tea so when I went inside and told another employee that the tea was disgusting and that I would get the tea from the dining area I heard the same employee make jokes about what I said. This Popeyes is the worst I've ever been too. I spoke with the manager and he had a attitude problem. I will never go here again. I will also let HR know about how they treat their customers

You will definitely receive the worst service from anyone employed at this store. I honestly think delivering horrible service is part of the training. I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Indeyah, Ms Overman, and the GM something Foy who looked like he literally just rolled out of bed at 6:20 in the evening. No matter what you ask for at this restaurant you will wait at least 5 mins, that’s including napkins. The worst ever. And make sure you check your receipt and your order because they’re surely to mess it up and get it incorrect. Bravo to Indeyah, Ms Overman and GM Foy for continuously delivering horrible service and being so great at it!!!

If I could give zero I would. This Popeyes is closest to me, but I will literally drive a couple more miles to avoid this one. The customer service is the absolute worst. No way should you have to wait 30 min in a drive thru with less than 5 cars. Only to be told we're out of that. Modify your order, yet still they give you thighs in place of breaststroke. I'm done with this place

I Visit this Popeyes store ,it was awful the Chicken tasted like old grease. It wasn't good.. I called the Manager she was Noncompliance, Didn't even say come to the store to get a refund. Popeyes will fail without notice one day. Cause God don't like ugly.

This is by far the slowest Popeyes in the world. Twice I have sat in their drive through for 45 or more minutes to get a meal! Clearly the management there has no concept of telling a customer to pull up to wait for their food and helping the people behind them instead of backing the drive-thru up for more than an hour it's just ridiculous. I will never ever go back to this Popeyes again I don't care how much I like their food

I ordered online, at 11:43 went to pick up at time it was to be ready. waited in line 40min, then was told to pull over and park because order was not made. Then order some how (order)populated and they found order. So, then I had to wait an additional 40min. then was told it would be another 20min for my chicken sandwich. I finally received my order at 1:40. So it took 2hours to finally receive my lunch.

So very slow!!! The drink machine was not working for ice or soft drinks but the cashier kept giving the cups out with the orders and people had to get back in.line to get their drinks. The food was good but took like 30 minutes to get order. Inside not very clean. They have glass jars for decorations and there was so much dust on top of them they were cloudy looking.

Why is this Popeyes always bad service. There is always a very long wait in drive thur. This time, like most every other time I come here, they say I will have to wait for chicken. I made an online mobile order. So it shouldn't have been a surprise what pieces I wanted with my whole 5 piece dinner. Come on. Even though it was a mobile order I still sat at drive thur window for 10 minutes. Then, I ask if I could get mashed potatos without gravy already on them. Of course, the answer was, you will have to wait. Pull up to the door and sit!!! Just for them to bring me out a small side of potatos, half full, not even in a bag. Please someone come manage this store, so the East End can have decent chicken. This has been this way since this store opened.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE - this place continuously runs out of food, orders are mixed up and shorted, workers do not wash hands or wear gloves when handling food, I recently observed a customer return boxed chicken pieces that he ate from and the remaining chicken portions were returned to the freshly made chicken trays and served to other customers, food is always cold and sitting out for an extended time. Also if you want to wait for your food for at 50 minutes this is the place for,you. When you complain to store management they refuse to talk to you as well as filing a complaint with corporate customer service they will never return your call. I initiated a complaint with the health department that apparently has not changed the culture or management of this location. This place should be closed down!!!

They ran out of all dark meat after 9. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was soggy, nasty, and smelled of too many pickles and looked nothing like the commercial. Fries were cold of course. The beignets had chocolate inside. I think they would be great plain. The food took way to long to not taste good.

I wish that I was able to give this location 0 stars but I am required to put at least one. This location was not that busy, but we waited over 30 minutes just to get to the ordering speaker and after 10 more minutes of not having our order taken we went somewhere else. I encourage management to hire new staff that takes pride in the task that they are assigned. I also wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

Rude staff. Something happened with my card where they said it declined and then ran it again but then I got two charges. Walked in to see if I could get it fixed and the girl that ran the card said that she wasn’t sure what happened but that she “knew for a fact it declined” insinuating that I was lying. Okay whatever, just trying to get it fixed. Met with hostility from the manager as well. Asked if they could cancel one or both and I would repay the correct amount to try and fix it and they said to just call the bank. Said “that just sucks” but whatever fine. $7 isn’t going to bankrupt me. Thanked the manager and left. Manager loudly yelled as I left that I didn’t say please or thank you. ?? Yikes. Get better staff working here please.

RUDE STAFF!! MOBILE APP ISSUES!! LONG DRIVE THROUGH WAIT TIME!! Save your time and money!! Had a HORRIBLE experience there today. First of all, I made a mobile order a little after 11:30am with an email confirmation receipt at 11:39am. I got to the store a few minutes later and there were about 5 cars ahead of me. First issue: the inside was closed and locked with no signs anywhere except the posted "hours of operation." Instead of being able to go inside and get the food I pre-ordered, I had to wait in the drive through line. Second issue: the drive through CRAWLED! There was at least 5 minutes of waiting before the line budged and in between cars. Three vehicles drove off while I waited (and 5 people went up to the locked door only to turn around and leave). Third issue: when I got to the order speaker, the RUDE woman inside first sounded like she was asking someone else how to look for a mobile order in her system. No "one moment please" or "let me check on that." I just sat there after giving my name and order number before having to ask again. Her response was that they "didn't have it yet." Well at this point, I had ordered it a half hour earlier, so I tried to let them know what time I ordered it--in case it was so far behind in the list that they overlooked it etc. The lady spoke over me, told me how it didn't matter when I ordered it, they didnt have it... I finally just said, "I'm driving up to the window" instead of trying to communicate through a box. I was still cordial, even though I was late for returning to work after my lunch break, and I tried to show her my email confirmation saying that the order was paid for and what it was. At that point, I was willing to just order the same thing again and deal with the app issues later on. She refused to even LISTEN to what my order was!! She kept talking about how I wasn't the first person who came to the window with an app order that hadn't gotten to them and that she CAN NOT start preparing the order until it comes through on the system. Again, she wouldn't even let me get the order out and say that I would pay for it AGAIN like a brand new order!! She was too busy telling me what she can't do! I ended up having to drive away and order at McDonalds after wasting over 40 minutes for NOTHING :-(. The one star they DID get is because the Popeyes app refunded my money within 2 or 3 minutes.

Oh and they always make pull over to the side because ethey make heir food to order. Brought my food out. Particularly my fault because I figured if they are making me wait extra for Rhe food then they are going to get it right. WRONG!! They forgot my fries again! Plus they don't put napkins in the bag. Horrible service. Please tear it down and build a Chick Fill A there🤷🏽‍♂️😅

I visited Popeye's on Labor Day. I was in the drive thru almost 35 to 40 Minutes. I get to the mic to place my order. He tells me that I need to come in to order because they didn't have enough people. The line was long inside as well. NO One Blocked or Closed the Drive Thru. Nothing posted. It was 5 cars behind me. Poor Customer Service. Labor Day comes every year. They know they need to triple book to make sure they have enough people. Pretty much the same issue every week. I will try again to see if the service gets better. The food is usually good and the customer service is Hit or Miss. They cook the chicken too hard. I know good help is hard to find. Good manners and Good customer service shouldn't be. ☹️☹️👎

Worst Popeyes ever…no matter how long I stop going when I go back it’s worser …I reported my order was made wrong from the night before ( once we got hoke miles away they had already closed ) I called the next day and they told me u have to have the food from that night in order for them to replace it ..the order was so messed up my daughter Friday was put in a bag with no fry and didn’t even get her drink ..my husbands order as well as mine was wrong the only thing right was one piece of chicken. The sides and other chicken pieces was completely wrong ..I don’t think this location will ever get it together… definitely a 0 out of 10 don’t recommend SMH

Placed a mobile order for pickup at 4:55pm. I got to the location right after 5pm. I gave my name to the cashier. Several people placed their orders at the counter and received their order before mine. I heard the cashier ask another woman in a moto jacket, "You working on X's order?" More people came and went. Woman in the moto jacket asked for my name for the first time. I waited another 15-20 minutes and she asked for my name again. It was at that point it was clear that no one had been working on my order the whole time. A third lady came to the counter to ask my name and what I had. She confirmed my order a couple more times. It was over an hour from when my order was ready and I was livid. My order was finally ready at 6:10pm. Nobody apologized or offered a refund.

Incredibly slow. I sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes (you can't get out once you reach certain point due to a curb blocking you in) and when I finally got to the intercom no one was responding. Don't waste your time here.

My wife and I went in on separate occasions and each time nobody greeted us properly.. I noticed a lighter toned black chick with freckles very rude and didn't have any basic customer service skills.. I gave it a pass the first time but I went in a second time and she still had an unpleasant attitude. If she and a few others like the very tall lighter tone black guy doesn't change their ways this company will go down hill. I'm done with this place

Being in the military I have never witnessed as much disrespect as i have today from this location. I placed a door dash delivery order and at 6 and it was estimated to be a 58-69 minute wait, so i waited. Then the door dash personnel called me saying if I canceled my order cause it was not on their system, when in fact i did not. The option of canceling was still available on my end and the status of awaiting pickup was pending, she even told me they could see my name on the screen but couldn't tell if I paid. I asked to speak to the manager but the manager wouldn't talk to me on the cellphone of the young lady picking up my food, so the manager told me to call the store. I called the store 6 times and no one picked up. After waiting an hour and a half I now canceled my order and have to go to KFC for hopefully better service and respect. Management needs to understand proper customer service procedures and respect for people regardless of how busy you. I just wanted my chicken tenders

Horrible!! Ended up waiting 10 min just to order with no one in front of me and another 35 min after ordering for a total of 45 min. How long does it take to cook 2 spicy chicken sandwiches? I sat and watched probably 10+ people drive away with huge bags full of food while I'm still waiting on mine. SMH. I will never return

The level of incompetence is ridiculous. These people don't care about their job at all and it shows. I never receive any napkins or sauce and in this order they didn't even have the decency to give me the drinks I paid for. This place needs to be shut down or they need new staff but it is consistently a problem. 😒

Completely horrible mobile order experience. Waited 2 and a half hours for the food, and it was cold upon arrival. Missing at least half of the items I paid for. No help from support. No help from the restaurant personnel. Extremely poor communication all around. Will not be eating popeyes again. 0 star all the way.

Took 25 mins to get 1 order and had to get 2 orders. Manager walked away mid order. Not one employee was permanently at the register. 8 people were waiting in line from 10:15-10:48 with no acknowledgement or apologies this is being written as I’m standing here. So upset and wasting my time with plenty of chicken available for sale.

Why do yall hate to assemble mobile orders before they get there?? There’s no reason it should take 30 mins to get a single order together when it’s not even really busy. Got people outside smoking and just walking around the store. Why wait to start makin the food until 30 mins after it’s placed??? And then if I didn’t check my order they wouldn’t have even gave me everything I checked my 3 large fries and they had the same amount of a small fry that was also in my order…and then when I politely(slightly frustrated from waiting so long already) asked for them to fill the fries up…the manager turns around ignores my while another better employee helped me…she starts complaining about me while I’m still standing there calling me rude and “I could’ve said no” I’m the current sous chef of uptown alley so I promise I’m not complaining from no where I know about service and food and this manager(lots of attitude and huge glasses I ain’t even catch her name) made a bad situation worse…timeline…ordered drove 15 mins there and had to wait another 20 for them to make a single order

Restaurant was dirty .When I walked in unhappy faces counter a mess .Finally someone made contact to take my order .It was the manager very sloppy & filthy clothes .Got my order had to ask for sauces and forks . When I got home 39 minutes away ,they had shorted by dinner left the chicken out only 4 PCs of shrimp. I called the manager answered ,never stated her name .Improper language,then quoted to me what was in the meals .Yes ,I am well aware what I ordered what my ticket states and what was not in the box .With attitude she tackily stated" come back and get my 2 PCs of chicken that she will give me ".First of all I want what I paid for and want it without attitude .If Popeyes cannot hire educated individuals or at least ones that can count &:read ,please close the establishment down .

This Popeyes is one of the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been too and that’s saying something. I ordered a simple 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with a large fries not only did I get NO SANDWICHES I GOT MASHPOTATOS INSTEAD. Went to this restaurant in today to try the new flounder meal. Food was not fresh at all. Fish was lukewarm and my fries were cold. My soda was flat. This is the third time I have came to this place and my food was not fresh at all. I will not be returning.

I ordered sweet and spicy wings at the speaker and got plain wings at the window. I told the worker that this was the wrong order and she went to get mine. The guy who took my order came to the window to reprimand me, saying that next time I should order what I want at the speaker. I did, and told him that I did. He then said, "Gimmie the wings so I can put the sauce on them." I gave him the wings back through the window. He was full of attitude for no reason. I wasn't upset or anything, that he misheard me, but I got pissed off when instead of apologizing, he went out of his way to come try some weird power trip. I never order plain chicken anywhere I go. Always spicy. Mind you, the first thing he said at the speaker after I spoke was, "Can you repeat your order." So I think it's safe to assume he misheard.

On this occasion the man said there was no large cups, so he only gave me two smalls. The total for my order was $10.98. this was less than half of the amount of food. I left hungry 😞

Obviously I like the food or I wouldn't have got in line at the drive-thru... but when you order & pay for a shrimp tackle box you expect a few more than 4 shrimp! I called to see if I can pick up another one the next time I'm on that side of town later this evening... & of course no one answered the phone. Couple that with the fact that I had to wait 15 min for a fish sandwich the day before... that takes the 4 rating for the food right down to a 1 because of poor service and not getting what I paid for. Keep the shrimp! I'll definitely find somewhere else to go.

This is the sandwich I received from Popeyes 2318 E Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23223 I placed an app order with the pick up time of 4:48pm. Per the app I was to go in the lobby upon arrival to pick up my food. When I arrived the lobby doors were locked. (shouldn't have been) I had to go through the drive thru and I waited for almost and hour. When I finally reached the speaker, no one even acknowledged I was there after waiting 15 minutes. An employee exited out the back door with trash and I asked was the speaker in the drive thru broken. He said no then went inside and I saw him talking to the manager in the drive thru area. Still I sat another 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Finally I was able to tell them my mobile order number but when I arrived to the pick up window, they said my order wasn't ready. The manager printed off my ticket and I heard them in the back screaming tell her to pull up. They did something to the food. The fries were cold and looked like they had been pulled from the trash. This was the sandwich. DON'T GO THERE! THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL NEEDLESS TO SAY I THREW IT OUT. IT WAS AFTER 5:30 PM WHEN I FINALLY GOT MY FOOD. MY RATE FOR THEM IS A ZERO!
