We went here to celebrate selling our house and the food was delicious! We got popcorn chicken, short rib pho, fried tofu, and shaken beef rice plate. We liked the shaken beef best as it has very unique flavors that we haven't had in Vietnamese cuisine. Our 3 years old was like "Can I get more rice?" She finished probably 1/4 of our rice plate. Too bad Riverside is so far from our house now, but we'll definitely try to find time to come by for happy hour (it seems like this is the only Cha2o with happy hours). If you are into pho, definitely try the steak n egg pho! We loved it when we had it at the Fullerton location.

Order to go, everything was packed neatly and remained stable. I had the pork bahn mi and the brisket pho. Both were great. The broth was particularly flavorful.

These place is amazing, a slept on gem. Pho is delicious, quality of ingredients blows Pho Ha and that other place outta the water. Go here, support them, keep them here. Apparently the teas are good too.

We just left this spot , there was a homeless man scaring patrons, threatening them. I came to the rescue, and used my masculinity to tame the beast everyone was safe and lived happily ever after . The end always love ty guys for the food.

The popcorn chicken was fantastic. At times the place is crowded ,but when I was there it was quiet and serene. The service was at the optimum. I was in my own world on my phone ,others chatting. Getting used to the place I haven't seen in n a while. I have usually go here with family members in the evening to chat. It's nice to relax and enjoy with or without company😊

The food here..OMG so good !! Where do I begin?! I literally ordered the whole menu for my family. We had no complaints from kids or husband.. Food was delivered via Uber eats and came piping hot and fresh. They packed the food perfectly and the seasoning was on the money!! Definitely going to be our new spot !

My favorite place to eat! The popcorn chicken is amazing and crunchy. The boba is the best I have ever tasted. Perfect texture. Their service was great! Especially during covid, the service was quick and welcoming. Always love stopping by when I am in the Riverside area. 😊

The food has been great every time I've been there. I'm slowly trying new things with each visit. I highly recommend the fried tofu! It's cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside and great seasoning! The buffalo chicken egg rolls are good too!

I had a blast, it was later in the evening, but the setting is love the food is 1000% delicious, fairly well priced, The closing manager was totally kind to let me enjoy myself. I had the laughing Buddha, without Boba! And boy was I laughing, my personal experience was fun, fun, fun. Great music and great people. Perfect place for date night.

Parking aside, because it was terrible finding a spot from the limited space availy in the smallest parking structure I've ever seen but it's not the restaurants fault, I liked it. I went in and the atmosphere was different than what I expected. Its trendy to go hang out with a bunch of friends but also nice and fancy for date night. I only ordered a frozen mango drink which was good so I can't comment on the food. I would recommend this place. Looks small from the outside but it has a lot going on for itself on the inside!

Fun place to come to! I knocked a star off because the menus they give you feature items from all of their locations BUT they may not offer these items at this location. Doesn’t make sense to me to have a menu that shows you items you can’t even order. Onto the food: -The thick toast is called “Velvet By Night” And has dark chocolate, ice cream, strawberries, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate cake! -The creme brûlée is called “Paris Lovers” and was so delicious! -The left drink is Tango Mango (with added boba) and the right drink is Kick In The Glass (with no boba). Both were delicious, but I thought Kick In The Glass was a little better because the watermelon tastes fresh & reminds me of summer.

The pho and popcorn chicken are great and very unique to this restaurant! The drinks here are also fresh and different from other typical boba or smoothie shops nearby. The wait time for food does take awhile, up to 5 minutes, even during peak hours or non peak hours. However good food that takes awhile is better than one that is rushed. This is also the first restaurant I have been to with an “unlimited noodles” option offered.

This place have very good quality of food, but, noon time and night time always confused me. The a cocoanut milk tea is my favorite, but it’s not really consistent even the staffs told me they follow the recipe to made it. The Shebang Pho also is my favorite too, but noon time always ran out the meat ball. I mean the point is should tell me before you ran out the ingredients not just when I asked then told me you put more meat instead.

It was good just got a plain noodle soup with no meat. Ordered online since they don’t take phone orders and waited no longer then 5 minutes when I got in the restaurant

This has to be my number 1 spot for pho. Everything is cooked to perfection and the drinks are so good and versatile this place could be a stand alone boba cafe. It’s kind of a build your own set up and they refill the broth and noodles for you. However, they always leave an entire or drink out of my order package so make sure you go through everything before you leave.

Absolutely delicious drinks, it’s a Vietnamese restaurant and some food is Mexican fusion. They had decent pho as well. Had a lovely server but the business called for more servers. Had to wait quite a bit since there were many customers and only one server.

A little pricey and very quirky location/parking, BUT... totally worth it. It's your one stop shop for boba, good starters (popcorn chicken), good meals (basil spaghetti with beef is a must), and deserts. Good place to hang out or go on a date.

Had the brisket pho and garlic fries. For dessert, we tried the banana wontons with ice cream. These were all delicious. My son tried a s'more dessert which he said tasted stale but they readily exchanged it for a flan. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for pho. It hit the spot on a chilly, rainy night.

The black milk tea was delicious. Creamy, flavorful, and not watered down. Crème’ Brûlée was overcooked. Flavor was on point. Nice atmosphere.

Everything seems great! Atmosphere is very comfortable and easier to be social in. Everyone’s chillin having a good time. Been here twice, first time left without food or drinks due to lack of service. Decided to try it again, had the same issue. Turns out to be serviced you kind of have to go out of your comfort zone and call them out to help you. Fair prices. Tasty food and drinks.

Really great food and drinks. Love this place. Would have 5 stars is they didn’t reject all orders 30-45 minutes before they close. You can place and order around 10:25pm and they’ll reject it.

Place has good desert, but attentiveness of waiters will decay greatly in large groups. You would be lucky to get your order in within 20 mins. Also smoke smell seeps in from nearby spots

Came here for a dinner with some friends, we generally go to some other restaurants in the area but decided to give this spot a try. We tried the brisket pho, stir fry udon, and garlic Parmesan fries. The milk teas here were on par with all the other boba shops in the area but when it comes to the food I think I would have preferred a restaurant that focused more on Vietnamese cuisine. Like most restaurants that add street food dishes like udon and fries to the menu, it just seems they detract from the main entrees like pho and everything becomes just average. Service was friendly and helpful, and heads up parking might be difficult. If you can't find a spot in the first floor of the parking complex you might just be out of luck.

Decided to check out the place, went in saturday night, place is somewhat empty around 8pm, but decided to stay, only couple of tables or people, greeted and seated, ordered the ribeye phõ and grandma supreme phõ, with thai tea bobba drink and the O.M.G drink, customer service is your typical asian restaurant, dont really check on you unless you call, the food is okay, its not great but just okay. for what its worth, there is not a lot of meat in my "supreme" phõ, more meat in my wife's phõ, overall place have good vibe for hanging out and snacking, its not a foodie place where you go to eat eat, its a hangout place for younger audience, which i believe is their customer target. 3/5, not sure if i want to come back.

I understand Covid delays alot, but when you do a walk-in and everyone's DRINKS are being made first before food. It prolongs the wait time, also my tacos came out before my other 3 items and died waiting to be taken home and eaten. They need a better system, make everything per ticket, it was disorganized and for the first time, the experience was messy. I dont think we will be coming back.

So when you walk in you will find that the place is very nice and clean. Has a nice modern look with large screens on the wall. That being said I don't believe they play sports on the tvs which is a downside. The food and drinks here are good and reasonably priced. It doesn't take them long to get everything ready either. Reason for 3 stars is the service. When I went it was like the employees were having their own hangout. They were talking and messing around right in front of my table. It's fine to have fun at work with your coworkers but this doesn't mean you disturb the patrons present there. We would have to interrupt their get together when they needed something. They were all friendly when helping us but too wild when they weren't.

Cha2O has a nice selection of interesting food and drinks. I ordered a black milk tea here, and it tasted decent. However, service could be a little bit better. Both times that I came here, I wasn't able to get the drink I ordered until I specifically asked why my order hadn't been called yet. My friends who came with me also experienced the same thing. Other than that, the drinks are pretty good for the price.

OmGoooooood as it gets Vietnam fusion comfort eats....Staff is awesome here and the Naked Pig plate...AAA++++ for me!!! Ok,😂 on a real note.... I'm so happy right now...the staff is very welcoming and the environment in here is beautifully set up to an intimate setting...I love it and so will you.. here is the catch....but not really..my food was served within minutes....thank God bc I was hella hangry....but the staff didn't really check up on me if I'm okay or need anything....Guess why!?!?! ......Because they don't have to.... ****because my food is Excellente' ...I'm lovin every bite of this food and I don't wanna be disturbed***** anyways... *****Update April 2019***** Consistency has fallen very short here at the University location compared to Artesia. The past 9 times I've eaten here in March/April has gradually been unexciting and a little lousy. I believe the staff has a lot to do with it. The staff must have changed recently.... ***Update*** May 21st, 2019 Visited for early dinner and our order took 30 minutes (there's only 10 people in here), served our dish undercooked (naked pig) sent it back, no salad, soup or utensils. Not very satisfied at this point. Must be a new server with lesser experience.

They are extremely slow even when they have no customers. I called in an order ahead of time cause I was on my lunch break. When I get there, they still hadn't begun to prepare my order and made me wait an additional 15 minute to get my lunch. No apologies, or effort to correct the situation 👎🏽

I got the laughing buddha tea. It’s very good but it lacked boba. Customer service is nonexistent though. The gentleman behind the counter never greeted us. He was on his phone the whole time even as he called for my drink being ready. The menus were also very gross and sticky. 2 stars because it’s not the worst service, and the tea was actually not bad.

Every. Single. Time. Me and my girlfriend go here pretty regularly. Less now. Because the service is so bad. We have spent a lot of money here. We have brought friends here. But for some reason, every time we ever, ever need anything, we have to flag down wait staff. Absolutely unacceptable. The only reason for two stars is the Phó is good and they have unlimited noodles (which is probably why they don’t ask if anyone needs anything) but whatever. Probably won’t go here much more unless I feel like being an aggressive customer just for some soup.

Something changed for the worse and mistakes keep happening on the orders. Thought it was a fluke the 1st or 2nd time, but it continues. Such a hassle to go home and find out something is missing or meat is raw (yes RAW!). Very hard to get reimbursed for their mistakes. Customer service pretty bad especially when things go wrong. They're not sorry, not willing to learn from their mistakes, don't care about keeping their customers. Only care about $$$. It's a shame, the food is decent. But not worth the hassle of dealing with all the errors. I made no mistake in placing my orders, but did end up losing money due to their mistakes. That's just not fair! I also put in more effort to try and work something out than they did. The issues were not resolved. My family won't be coming back.

They say it’s 12 hour broth but it seems like it’s all powder and not the real thing. The ordering system is ridiculous, music sucks not a relaxing atmosphere. Only have one star because I couldn’t give a 0. I would not recommend or return to this place. $65 for two Pho bowls and wings. Drinks were not the best either. (Pho King Gross)

I would eat here if you are on a diet. The amount they give you is so notorious for being so small it won't even feed a mouse. Really disappointed as it was my first time here. Also I know Pho places are pricy but my lord this place is overpriced. I should have drove 0.2 miles for a different pho place. The interior is nice but the food is just no for me.

Got there at 10:02 PM and these people refused to seat me because they “stop seating people at 10 pm”. They close at 11. If you hate paying customers just say so JESUS. They seated the couple that I held the door open for before me. As soon as it 10:01, NOPE!

Im somewhat of a pho connoisseur... I've been to sooo many pho places all over the IE and this is the absolute worst. They hardly give you any meat in your bowls and charge more than most places. I don't understand how you can be stingy and more expensive at the same time. Serious disappointment.

I had a bad experience in the place not only with the food but also with the employees of the place twice. Friday and Saturday I went with my boyfriend Friday I order soup. I don't like onion and asked for extra noodles . My boyfriend ordered rib soup, we waited 40 minutes, the place was not busy, the employees were sitting down eating and with their cell phones on a table. I went to ask about my food. One of the employees went to see My order was not ready 40 min waited. Call the manager an employee came out with shorts and sandals was surprised that the manager dressed like this. It was something unethical oh professional of a manager short and sandals. Saturday night we return to give another opportunity but we see the same employees sitting down and on cell phones the pasta with burnt flavor the salty sap soup. I'm sorry I will not return bad experience

The server was rude. The food took really long for just a party of 2. It's over priced for how mediocre the food is. AND I got food poisoning. I'm vegan so I ordered the fried tofu. I've had it at other places and made it myself at home many times. I got so sick later that night I felt terrible. And I know for sure that was what made me sick because that was all I ate that day. It was so bad just remembering the off taste of the tofu makes me sick and I can't smell or eat tofu again. Thanks a lot
