Chick-fil-A Rosedale Reviews
During a rush the food quality can be sub par. However, when you go on the days that they aren't busy, the food is fresh. It tastes good and they're allowed to put more TLC into it. This location is a chill spot. There's no need to be overly nice and the chikfila workers do not need to incessantly bow to customers and worship them. They often talk to you kindly even when you can clearly see them going through a rush. They double check what you ordered as well. I often just wait for my food, be patient...and I get my food. Never is my order wrong. Once, my fries were cold. But that is because I was ordering the food during a rush. Their mac and cheese is good and is my favorite. Do not listen to these overly dramatic reviews. I don't understand the reviews that are based on skin complexion. "This black woman, this light skinned black woman." That right there goes to show you that something is wrong with the customer reviewing...
I only had nuggets and a drink to everything went well. Staff always nice. I don't like the fries here at all. It's different from other locations and always warm not hot.
Came here for the first time and had a good experience. Photos and videos are attached. I ordered on the app and went through the drive thru since I had my dog and the drive thru was moving right along. My order was completely ready by the time I reached the window. Thank you for your service and accuracy with my order!
The Counter person on this date ( Sat. Sept. 27, 2025). I believe his name was Miles was great. Courteous, & professional. He went above and beyond for my son & I. It was a great experience. I will be back. Thank you Miles.
Such a wonderful recipe for chicken! The chicken tastes delicious, and it's fresh and tender. So good! The staff that takes your order, while driving to the drive-thru, it's very pleasant and professional. On another occasion, when I eat-in, the lights make the atmosphere in the restaurant so accommodating, and the space inside with the high ceiling just puts it all over the top! Great place to be!
I’m a chef and I enjoyed the sandwich. I was tired but decided to go in to sit a little bit. This location was so clean, had flowers on the table, my drinks fell and more than one person offered to replace it. The cashier talk a little fast but I’m in the business so I understand. Felt like I found a hidden gem in New York. Special shout-out to Jada !!! Thanks Chick-fil-A
I just want to thank you for the special invitation and thanks for bringing the best fast food on the market to the area. I had the privilege to place my order on on the drive thru and I have to say the service is great, very professional, these employees are well trained and ready to help you at the time or ordering. Great food, great people and a great environment; I can’t wait to get the chance to sit down and enjoy some Chick Fil A with my entire family - this place is amazing. The high level of training these employees went through shows a mile away…. Great job!!! See you soon! The best luck ever!!
Good option for Gluten-free seekers (grilled chicken / gluten free buns) - Consistent good quality food with taste. Service crew is great and always keep you updated about your order as it progresses. Clean place with continuous maintenance throughout the day.
My sister and I was lucky when we came there was no line and one couple waiting for their food but then the line piled up while we was waiting for our food. We got the nuggets and fries for the kids, I got the spicy southwest salad with ranch dressing and a milkshake that I left in the freezer(still was good days later). My sister also got a milkshake and a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich meal. Food was good and the employees nice and helpful
3 dollars for a large cup of ice is crazy. Especially when the other charge about a dollar and most of them literally charge nothing. The only chick fil a skimp on the sauce. And the food saltier than usual.
Can confirm the reviews about this place are true, rating deserved. Maybe some days are better but I just ordered breakfast around 7:45am on a Saturday (online) and when I received my order the biscuit was hard and stale, the hash browns were clearly old and not fresh, or perhaps even fried in old oil not sure which, and some of the chicken minis rolls seemed like they were on the cusp of going bad but not quite, just a slight too yeasty flavor / essence but Idk.. Gave two stars instead of one because they did at least get the order right and the water was in tact. Thought ordering earlier in the breakfast service would ensure fresh food but I guess not. Strange. Definitely my worse Chick-fil-A experience. If the other reviews about the customer service is true that's unfortunate. This is why I don't really frequent chain restaurants in NYC. The quality control is not the same as in some other states and areas. Definitely my first and last time, which at least saves me the money.
Honestly I thought Chick-Fil-A had an outstanding service across all their locations as a regular standard however that wasn’t the case at this particular location. The store closes at 10pm and I happen to walk in at 9:58pm by which the cashier had the nerve to say “the audacity of me to walk in at 9:58pm” I paid no attention to her but her inappropriate comment turned me off soo much why does this young lady feel so entitled does she own the restaurant. I was able to walk out the restaurant and there were still order customers as well as delivery drivers waiting for their orders so I don’t understand how I was such an inconvenience to this girl. Her name is Melannie and I definitely think she should retrained because her job shouldn’t be this awful.
I had a terrible experience buying food there. I ordered Cobb salad. First of all it was very small very little salad wasn't fresh lettuce was rusty disgusting egg was not even half chicken was dry and so five pieces dry mixed in 2 cherry tomatoes and nothing else. Had to bed a cunter lady for a dressing which she gave me with hesitation and attitude. I expected much more from that franchise. Totally not worth the price nothing special overrated would never buy from that brand I don't recommend. Also I don't understand why pl are killing themselves waiting on line to place an order.
the worker, light skinned black woman named “dee B”, a cashier at this chic fil is SUPER rude and cut me off mid order! i walked up to the register and she rudely says “give me a minute” the restaurant was not busy so i don’t see the need for such rude language. she was just super unpleasant and her facial expressions my whole time while ordering honestly made me not want to eat there anymore. she was rude to my friend when she asked to get her drink that was being held up. all in all the food was fine i just was really put off with her behavior and her language.
The wait is very long. While some of the staff are quite nice and friendly, for the first one I experienced two staff there who were rude and unprofessional to the point of blatant outlandish purposeful disrespect. They have messed up my order multiple times without being accountable or accommodating in fixing it. Unfortunately, my last visit was enough to make me decide I won’t be frequenting this location going forward. It’s not the kind of service you expect at chick fil a and I haven’t had such poor service at any other location. I like to support minority owned establishments, but not if it will consistently now be at my expense.
Today September 29th at 2:59pm I visited this Chick Fila location at 249-23 Rockaway Bivd in five towns (rosedale, Ny) and as I got home while eating my food I found this DISGUSTING dead fly. I went through every emotion possible because I just couldn't believe the one thing that could send me into a panic, my biggest phobia was in my food. DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. The guy in charge of operations there Mr. Miles handled my situation very poorly to where I left in tears. After driving all the way back he only offered a partial refund and told me I drank the milkshake that came with the order. No empathy for what I just experienced. Definitely not the chick fila hospitality I’m used to especially after what was a traumatic situation for me.
Disgusting customer service. Despite a cashier being at the register, I was left waiting to order while she chose to fool around instead of acknowledging me. When she finally decided to take my order, which was just a small Hi-C drink. I was left waiting 5 minutes for just a drink. I eventually had to ask another employee to make my drink. However when the customer behind me placed their order, the same cashier immediately prepared their drinks without hesitation. This level of disregard for basic customer service is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Not to mention not a smile or a “my pleasure” in sight. This location has to be fighting for worst Chick-fil-a in America because I have NEVER gone into any Chick-fil-a and experienced this horrendous level of customer service.
Truthfully, one star is too generous. The attitudes at this location are atrocious. No one is forcing you to work here, and as young Black women, you should learn to carry yourselves better instead of feeding into the negative stigma that already surrounds us. There is no reason for rude attitudes or comments when I come to pick up an order and simply ask for sauces. A 10-count Chicken Mini Meal and a Chicken English Muffin with only two honey packets is not sufficient. Requesting strawberry jelly packets should not be an issue. Does handing out jelly affect your paycheck? To then go back and forth with me—as if you are not half my age—is unacceptable. At no point did this location demonstrate the level of customer service this franchise claims to pride itself on. Management needs to step in and do a full sweep, because this behavior is completely out of line. Honestly, I didn’t even want my food after that experience. Disgusting. Do better.
The worst Chick-fil-A I’ve ever been to. They can’t follow the instructions written on the order slip. I ordered a drink with no ice, the order slip said no ice. I received a drink that was 90% ice. I asked for ketchup, the order slip said ketchup, I received barbecue sauce and no ketchup. The french fries were not filled in the container all the way, and what was in there were tiny little broken pieces, not one french fry was unbroken. The store is a disgrace to Chick-fil-A.
I've given them chances, over and over again since i live relatively close and I've always enjoyed items from the chain, when eating it in other states before it became available here in NYC. It cost me over $17 for a 4 piece chicken strip meal with a milk shake as my drink. It feels like robbery but I'd still be willing to spend it, if the quality of the items that I ordered, were there. Every single time that I've ordered within the last 5 months, I've received chicken strips that aren't much larger than a McDonald's chicken nugget. The peach shakes also barely have any peach flavor and there is a noticeable difference when comparing both items with the same things being ordered in other locations. They are clearly cutting corners here and you are made to feel like no one cares about your experience. Then if you choose to do the drive through, they walk your food out to you but make you remain in this astronomically long line, to get your drink thereafter. No one cares about how your food will get cold while you wait or how you might want to enjoy your food and drink together. The worst of all is that if you order a shake, it undoubtedly begins to melt before you make it to the window for retrieval since this line can be an easy 30 minute wait on a good day. I don't know what would help this place. The customer service is very lack luster. You can tell the workers were trained and they all use the same terminology but everything else about their interactions with customers, leaves so much to be desired. The attitude is often through the roof unless you meet someone who just started. I like chik fil a but the company is ruining their name with this franchise. I know they make alot of money though because the demand is great and business seems to remain booming. I see I'm not alone in my assessment of the place however and I gotta stop going to be jipped out of $17 for the equivalent of a happy meal.
Service is usually fast but today I got all the way home and noticed my lettuce for my Cobb salad was old and wilted. They don’t have a contact number to call so I’m deciding to leave a review. It’s upsetting when pregnant women is craving something and when you get it. It’s absolutely not what it was suppose to be. A salad! I’m thinking okay just one part of it. No it’s the whole salad! So upset! Check your food before you leave the drive thru!
