Dining 36 Rosenberg Reviews
Excellent hamburger and the onion rings are amazing. Chicken tenders are crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Most excellent meal and kind servers top it all off! Thanks!
On Sundays, they serve up the best Turkey and Dressing plate! Great food. Great service.
I just ordered an enchilada dinner plate, and kuddos to the cook, it was delicious,I have my to go enchilada place. Thanks bunches
An awesome family restaurant! You could not ask Kathie and her family to be nicer or support the community more. Taco salad and tea are awesome. Highly recommend visiting the reaturant.
Good size portions and great flavor. Ribs, beef, sausage are all wonderful. The baked potato casserole is simply the best.
Been going here since I was a kid. Best tea, milkshakes, love the corn tacos and burrito with chili and cheese.. good burgers also.
You can never go wrong with a classic burger and family restaurant like this one! This place has been around for a long time and I have always loved their food, not a fan of how they don't offer combos, they have certain baskets, but dont come with a drink. Other than that you'll have a great experience!
Been coming to Schultz's since I was a kid. They make some absolutely CLASSIC Texas style fast food here. I remember a time when they were dotted with a few diners across Texas; this might be the last of them but they're still high on good food. Absolutely loved the way they used to pack the drive-thru enchiladas in a to go carton piled thick with cheese and chopped onions. This is a Hidden Classic Texas-Style Gem and one of the best for Fast Food in Richmond\Rosenberg.
I am so excited the little town of Rosenberg,TX has been getting alot of new restaurant. I can across this one that reminds of an old school diner. One thing I did enjoy was the prices and portions of the food were really good. We enjoyed the chicken tender basket and chicken fried steak finger baskest. That toast was super buttery also its hard to find a place that serves pineapple milkshakes. So if you heading down Hwy 36 you should give this place a try. There is a neat little jukebox for some classic tunes.
Food's delicious! Atmosphere & service is great too. I especially love the music!
Updated restaurant but looks like similar menu as before. Mexican food is good and reasonable price.

I ordered the double meat hamburger with cheese and it was delicious. Just the right amount of old fashioned hamburger taste and the fries were good too. Sometimes you just want some old fashioned fries not the skinny ones most fast food places have. Not knocking anyone else's. Just saying it hit the spot.
They really take care of you here. I just finished today’s lunch special of hamburger steak and green bean casserole. Outstanding. The meat they use is fresh and flavorful. Mushroom gravy was excellent, and there were several slices of sautéed onions. Portions are generous, and the price is more than fair. Staff is personable and competent.

Its your Typical American comfort/ fried foods. The flavor is decent and the prices are okay a bit steep but reasonable The service is good and will be back for lunch to try other items
This place is a staple of the town. Better variety and quality than their bbq place. The burgers, bullriots and chili and cheese are pretty good. I've even heard from my grandma that the enchiladas are tasty.
I was so excited to order the chalupas. The flavor was there but they used a fried flour tortilla, not the same.
My girlfriend and I once again wanted to try something new and they did well... the service and food was on point... we've always liked the BBQ next door but now we can get something different if need be...
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, it was ok. fries were good,

First time I have been there in a very, very long time. The remodel looks great. It's a great classic diner vibe. The food was okay, as my friend said, "Nothing to shout about." I did like the fries. The smell when you walk in really makes you want "bad for you" texmex. We will go back to try other things. They also have a nice outside seating area, huge plus in my book.

I had the grilled chicken salad. The grilled chicken is super tasty but the lettuce is shredded lettuce (like for a taco) lol. I asked for honey mustard dressing and was told they only have ranch packets for the salad. The salad is good just make certain to have your own dressing!!
Good ole family style restaurant, a staple of Rosenberg. While I prefer their barbecue joint next door, my husband and daughter love their burgers. It's clean and service is quick.
I drove through and got a hot fudge sundae. The service was good, but the hot fudge was not hot. It was clumpy. The ice cream was tasteless, and hot fudge had a strange taste.
Ordered the Cheeseburger today. Price is 9.95 plus tax. Never ordered a burger that expensive without fries. All in all a good tasty burger but bun was tough and not fresh. Prices are really extreme. Not a Schultz resturant.
Come on, Rosenberg! I want to like you and want to have new places to eat, but you gotta do better than this. A burger at that price point that doesn't include fries? Everything is frozen and nothing fresh?

Food wasn't bad. Excellent chicken strips & gravy. Good hamburger. The tables were dirty. Condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, tabasco) were dirty. Cashier/Server was nice. $55 for 4 people. Would try again.
The enchiladas weren't like they used to be at all ☹️ that was all I would ever get when it was Schulze's restaurant and they were the best. Been wanting them for a long time now. Willing to come back within a couple months to give them more time and try again.

When I come into a diner I’m looking to get away from fast food. Just an over priced fast food joint. I expected real good home cooking from this place
Food is as good as it has always been, but I can't stand the tip-SHAME-ING, it's just beef enchiladas, you don't deserve a 40%+ tip for such a simple meal.
Taste was somewhat ok. Everything was over priced and very greasy and considering that I paid about $35 for my burger and fries and drink for myself and husband it was not worth that much since you have to pay for everything separately. I also ordered a chili cheese burger when I got it was regular burger with a lick of chilly on top bun couldn’t even taste the chili. Will definitely not be coming back here. I would also not recommend other people to come her unless over priced and greasy food is to your liking then go for it.
If you guys are going to run a real restaurant then make your chicken fingers from scratch. They were frozen from a bag. They gave me the bottom of the bag of frozen fries. Just a small amount of little tiny fries. The only thing good was the toast. They even failed on the gravy it was bad. Might as well call yourself a concession stand.

I ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger, fries and drink for 12 dollars that was at best okay. The person who took my order was neither good or bad, just apathetic. In the end it felt like a waste of time and money.
To me I don’t like how yall are always closed and every time I want a burrito I can’t because yall always have to be closed and I don’t like that at all I know yall have lives and family matter but like you don’t always have to be closed
Food was disgusting!!! And way overpriced for Bugs in the food and they said that was normal , and what can we do about it… I asked for the owners information just to be cuss out by the old man and told never to come back! The restrooms were stinky… just to be told white people don’t take a bath by the cashier! And pointed at the man that just left? What is going on!! Never will I return here
Went one time will never go again. The online price said one thing you get to the window your given a higher price. Girl at window asked the manager to speak to me. A man came to the window said prices are subject to change without notices and slammed the window. I will not go back ever. Bad service and rude people.
Bbq side of this restraunt is good. They have like a fast food side to. The food is sub par at best. Don't order any Mexican food from this place,it's a waste of money. Also when you order a drink or if it comes with a combo. They only allow one refill?! In a 20 oz cup! Dosent matter if its tea or soda. The bbq side isn't like that. I would stay away from the fast food side. Another thing to note is they are always hiring and looking for help. Must not pay well or treat there employees good.
This place was just terrible. We were excited for a home cooking kind of place, but there wasn’t one single fresh thing in this “Restaurant”. Should be called 36 frozen and canned cafe.
I ordered a chili and cheese fries and the cheese is so watery down. Nasty is disgusting. I try to see if I can change my order out for something else. I just wanted to leave a review because their chili and cheese is very nasty. Please do not order that!!!!🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, it was all cramped up in one little box with the toast bread underneath the steak, ( all soggy)
Very nice makeover, but I got the steak sandwich because I loved the Schultz sandwich boy was I disappointed, my husband got enchiladas, what can I say please go back to old recipes and nachos barely had cheese I will not return.
I ordered 2 steak finger baskets and requested to substitute onion rings instead of fries and said that I would pay the difference and they wouldn’t allow it. I’ll never go there again!
Closest on Wednesday not open will never go back have to find something better just sayn
I got the turkey and dressing it tasted like it was all frozen and for the portion the price was to much
WAY TO EXPENSIVE for the quality/type of food being sold, frozen burger patty(store bought) not fresh, chili tasted like boiled ground beef not seasoned, other than food, place looked clean, people were very nice..... save your money go somewhere else
Truly just a disappointment all around. Had family try it and was told the food and service was bad. I tried it recently thinking maybe it changed but it is still terrible. Service was decent but nothing noteworthy. The food on the other hand tasted old and the taco shells were stale along with being absolutely caked in grease. Bland rice and beans along with bad pricing makes this a place to avoid. Save yourself the time and money alog with your stomach because this place will have you ringing into work late. Go somewhere else for Mexican food
Well thought we would try this place! Prices were high for just a hamburger and you had to pay for the fries, or onion rings and drinks separately! So two people and $30 some later we get our order. Just because you call it a Patty Melt doesn’t mean it is one! White greasy bread, grill chopped onions, hamburger patty with one slice of cheese and no dressing!!!! Fries were hot but were just crinkle cut frozen fries. Onion rings were good and hot, but greasy too! The Diet Coke didn’t work and no one to change out the tank!! So if you like over priced hamburgers, fries, onion rings and drinks! This is you place! Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
Unimpressed. Burgers and fries were bland, unseasoned. Burger patties have the appearance and consistency of microwaved frozen patties, weird chew. For this price point, I'd expect fresh, well seasoned, hand-formed patties. The service was very friendly though, people were nice.
Second and last time going. Took family this time. First time got the chili and cheese burrito and a vanilla shake. Burrito was the one obit from the corner store and put chili on it. Shake had no flavor. Second time family got a burger chicken tenders and enchiladas plate. OMG the enchiladas tasted like dog food. No flavor what so ever. Burger was ok. Tenders was ok. Portable drink station had black stuff come out into my drink. I refunded the enchiladas and the cashier stated they can’t at the moment because the owner stepped out. Once the owner came back and gave us the refund he then stared us down as we was leaving. Didn’t personally come check why we refunded the food or offer his apologies.
Was so excited to see a new place open up. Menu is a mix up between dairy queen and Texas burger. Ordered steak finger basket for 8+. Soggy pale steak fingers, Soggy bag frozen fries. Stale toast. Would not recommend
I have been going there for years when it was schulze family restaurant and I've always ordered enchiladas with onions today I ordered the same and they were watery and no onions they always ask if you want onions the guy who took my order didn't ask ,so after a bit a young Lady came up to the counter and I told her to tell them to make sure to add onions, when I got home no onions and watery no flavor I disposed of them, I showed them to my wife she wanted me to take them back not wasting my time, but I won't be back.thank you for the waste of money and the nasty food.
