I don't know about the other reviews, but I was in and out in 5 minutes, with three meals, service was nice, I saw the 2 star rating and was scared, but they took my order, then money, and I got my correct order, and went about my day.

I've always loved their mozzarella sticks, but got a cheeseburger and it was wonderful. Just loaded with veggies and was so good! I'll definitely be going back again for their burgers and tots! Yum!

Great location! I had ordered 2 foot long coneys during happy hour. I forgot that my daughter doesn't like chili and cheese on her dogs. She's a purist. So I asked if I could trade them out. Not only did they give us what we asked for they insisted that we kept the other one! Saving that doe my teenager!

One of our favorite fastfood places. This specific location always serves great food and the service is always superb. And the Reese's Blast is always wonderful! I can no longer eat them but oh so good! Smile! It could always be worse!

Sad to say, I have to go to Sonics away from my home because they never seem to be fresh. This Sonic is perfect! The buns are soft, the food is hot and the service is friendly. I will definitely stop at this one again! Thank you for not serving me hard buns and cold burgers!!!

My carhop was friendly and provides level one service. I didn't catch her name, but I told her I'd have to drive to her side more often. They were much quicker than the one closest too me and you could tell the employees were enjoyed their job.

This will only get 5 stars because of a worker named Chris. He was very polite taking my order. On the other hand this girl named Alexis had the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. She didn’t say you’re welcome anytime I thanked her & she dropped my pretzel bag and didn’t offer to even redo it but instead made the hand gesture “go on”

Had the new Garlic Butter burger and onion rings. I used the online app to place my order which was easy to use and minimize my wait time. The burger exceeded my expectations, it was prepared fresh and the garlic butter flavors were great. The onion rings are house made, served hot. Overall very pleased. Don't forget to take a bag of their ice home

Great for a quick bite to go. The breakfast burrito of egg, cheese and either bacon or sausage is tasty, especially if you add the hot sauce that is included with your order. Makes for a quick " breakfast" on the go.

My friends and I ordered food through the drive-in. I'm not sure if it's because they might be short of staff, but the wait here was about 15 for 2 burgers, 2 ice cream shakes, some wings, and 1 order of mozzarella sticks. They should consider hiring more people for faster service.

The food was hot a deliscious and I can tell it was made to order. We ordered quite a bit of food, snacks, and frozen treats and everything was perfect. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is bc it took a little while for the food to come. But when it Did it was perfect and hot. They also have drink, burger, and shake happy hr.

Usually there is a wait but in the end the drinks and food is great! Love the strawberry limeade and Supersonic Bacon cheeseburger. I go here pretty often when I haven't went grocery shopping yet.

I don't come here too often, but when I do April, I think her name is, is always the brightest smile and my favorite person to be served by. She is so lively, and I love her so much. All my experiences coming here while she was working have always been a joy.

This comment pertains to the app, not to the location. The Sonic app is one of the most counterintuitive out there. The items for a combo are tallied on totally separate screens. I tried to add a corn dog and an extra drink to a simple order with a combo, and somehow I ended up with 2 combos in addition to those things. Being in a hurry on my lunch break, I didn't catch it until they brought me the food. I'm done using the app. I'll just go through the drive-thru going forward.

The lady taking drive thru order knows what shes doing she seemed expierenced and quick. The order was ready fast and brought to me too. I was done but couldn't pull away until car in front got theirs and left but that wasnt too long either..food seemed fresh and hot just made and perfect amount of vanilla in my Dr. Pepper!!

The food is great, generally pretty fast. The problem I had last time was that I couldn't use the booth they have because due to their low staff they only had five through open. Despite that, the food was good, the service was pretty good.

Ok compared to the other one on Ave H. Food is hot and service ok. Nobody seems happy here but they do their jobs. Drive thru is somehow slower than the stalls, however. Lack of maintenance. Multiple stalls not functioning or broken.

The service here isn't very good, half the time they have the app disconnected where they don't accept orders through it. There's only one or two nice employees. I try to go to the location on Jackson as much as I can to avoid the bad service.

Food is usually always freshly prepaid and well executed...when they get it right. I find that night shift seems to be more on point than day shift. The young hispanic kid who is usually at the drive-thru window, always goes above and beyond. He knows the menu inside and out as well as the "secret" menu. When he isn't there, expect issues with your order. I will update when I find out his name.

After eating and realizing not all my order was fresh. I give you a 3 star. I don't know what is in the water in this area, but you all lack very important elements. Service with a genuine smile is felt. Sarcasm is too. But I give a 4 star for service due to it being my second time there.

This Sonic is so inconsistent. There are times when I go and everything is great. My order is correct, and the food is hot and tastes freshly prepared. Then there are times I go and my order is wrong and the food is cold, like it had been prepared ahead of time. I wish there was more consistency and I had a great experience every time.

Our order was wrong received a melted slush. Wrong soda. Wrong dipping sauce. My granddaughters cup was covered in cherry limeade and they brought it out like that. Seems like new management is struggling Manager offered to fix by giving a remake of the order but we left and got headed home and couldn't go back.

Wanted a Jr burger no cheese, gave me a #1 with cheese, they had to take back. Then later ordered a large coke and there was hardly any ice had to get them to give me ice!

I went around 11:30 p.m. Understaffed. I pressed the order button and received a screen message that I would be dealt with shortly. No one spoke to me or came to my vehicle for 10 minutes. I left. At least acknowledge my presence and give me an idea of my wait time. We got food elsewhere and returned to eat at the tables, as that was the wish of our little girl. Thus, the tables contributing to family time earned a second star.

Why bother ordering ahead when you still have to wait. Don’t bother with the drive thru at night, they ignored it even after honking. And employees wearing booty shorts and slides to work? No hat? This location has gone way down hill.

I've been here quite a few times and had my drink spill out of the bottom of the cup into my cup holder. I mean I just thought that it just leaks if you leave it in your car for too long and I left it overnight so I was like it's fine I guess. I'll just be more diligent about taking it out of my vehicle from now on. But this last time I went and got a drink it was not even five minutes later everything was spilling out of the bottom of the cup. COME ON!!! Thank goodness I had another coup to put this cup into!!!! This is highly unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly I normally enjoy my food from here, but when I ordered curbside tonight all of my food was burned, especially the onion rings (my all time favorite side), but they all came out with tons of black spots and a totally burnt taste. I want to support our local chains, but there is just not a consistent result of good food

I wish I could give it a 0 stars ... used to be a good place for family to sit inside and eat Sonic.. Tables was so dirty, asked the guy about them .. HE HANDED ME SOME NAPKINS!!!! RESTROOM WAS SO BAD,(I have seen cleaner restrooms at gas stations) I REFUSED TO USE THEM !!! We was missing fry's and onion rings in order it almost as long to get those 2 items as it did to get our main food.. I have a family of 7 so its not cheap to eat out.. I spent a lot of money here the only person that help was a lady named "Bre" she came out and cleaned the tables and was very nice.. The others were too busy on their cell phones (while taking orders) ..... will never eat there again... Thank God we have other Sonic's in our area !!!

Customer service sucks!!! Sat in car hop for 10 minutes before someone came to tell me they weren't taking orders there. I went to drive thru...Sat there for another 15 minutes until someone came out and said the speaker was broken. Ultimately they took my order and got it wrong. That's $15 and 45 minutes I will never get back.

This is the worst sonic I’ve ever been too.. very poor customer service and unprofessional . The worker who gave me my food was very rude and wasn’t even wearing a hat to cover her hair . Her name tag said Maria on it I don’t know how she’s employed there I guess they hire anybody who applies . And not to mention the food was disgusting tasted like they don’t change out there grease yuck!!! I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends or family eating at this sonic . No ma’am!!! Save your money and eat elsewhere because u will get poor quality food and customer service

I order the pretzel at many Sonics in the Houston area. I always trade (not get both) the cheese for honey mustard. This is the only Sonic that charges me. If you don't like cheese or are lactose intolerant, don't come here. It was not a good experience.

Although I was not going to take the time to write this review rather I was just going to stop going to Sonic... I decided to let people know because I would want somebody to tell me. I believe that it was Monday of this week possibly Tuesday (Aug 3rd or 4th ) around 12:30 pm I went to Sonic just for a cup of ice because to be honest I have stopped eating there months ago due to the store being so dirty when I go in there. While I stood at the front counter waiting for the girl to make the cup of ice I observed a lady taking cooked hot dogs of the hot dog roller with her bare hands and throw them into a pan kept lower down. She then picked up raw hot dogs again with her bare hands and put them on the roller to be cooked. I do not know if this is normal to some but I for one do not want anyone touching my food with their bare hands. It was disgusting. I asked to speak to a manager and the girl at the counter stated that the guy that was there was training for another store but he was the manager at that time. When she pointed in his direction she pointed to the same man who just minutes before had been talking to her very loudly saying "Ya because that's what white boys would say!" and He repeated this "white boy" statement 3 times very loudly in conversation with the girl at the front counter. I decided not to continue to wait for him but the girl said she would tell him about the incident. I have no idea if that happened and even if it did I find it hard to believe this man would have done anything about it. He did not appear to be very professional at all. With this all said, I do want to tell you that the drive thru has been 100 % better in the last month or so.. friendly people on the speaker and the window...employees running small drink orders out to the cars rather than making them wait in line behind food orders. This is a great improvement to the long waits and rude attitudes that were handling drive thru before.

Where do I begin? Oh how about they cannot get orders right nor get the food cooked properly. Ordered a strawberry fruit smoothie and there was only one strawberry in there. Asked for nerds on the kids desert and only 5 tiny nerds were on the desert. That is not even a sprinkle. Corn dogs were soaked with grease. This place does not focus on quality at all. Do not eat at that sonic even if it is the only place open.

Drive thru people had a line and the car in front of me received their food and they chose to socialize with him (2 females) even after he had his food. When I honked after watching them for a while, one of the ladies gave me a look with an attitude and even the car behind me honked. And they still chose to socialize. When I finally pulled up she was really rude. I understand seeing people you know, and talking to them, but DO YOUR JOB esp when there's a line of 3 cars

So much wrong with our order today. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, 2 tator tots and a kids meal cheeseburger. The bacon burger didn't have a paTty just bacon, the kids meal cheeseburger didn't have cheese & we only got one tator tots. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

Ordered a chicken strip dinner in the drive thru. When I got home, 10 miles away, I opened my bag of food...My tator tots, toast and onion ring were in the box, but no chicken strips. Tried to call number listed and it is a fax machine, go figure

This has got to be the worst location I've ever been. If I could give no stars I would. They take over 20 min to take an order once you've pressed the button. And another 20 to 30 min to get your order. I ordered two classic shakes and couldnt believe how long they took. I took video and photos of this non sense. Twice now service has been terrible. Two other times I just had to leave because I couldn't wait an hour for food and when I asked was everything ok they were rude. Someone needs to come and get this store together and hire employees and re train them. I feel bad for the people who are working there now because many time it looks like they are on their own working with just two people.

Very poor customer service. We ordered a milk shake and a slush. We noticed they were busy, but did not think much of it since Sonic tends to provide quick service. We waited for 30+ minutes. No one warned us about the long wait. No employees came by to apologize. Nothing. The cars around us did not receive their orders either. We decided the $4 order wasn't worth waiting any longer for and decided to leave. I filed a complaint through Sonic's website and they forwarded my complaint to management. It's been more than 48 hours, and I still have not heard anything from management. So I am going to let my frustration concerning an absurd wait for a $4 order go by writing this poor review for this location. Never again will I visit this Sonic.

The worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had. The workers hardly pay attention. They just a broken cup of soda right next to my credit card, letting it soak in it, and when I complained, the lady just wiped it off and handed it off to me with zero apologies. Asked for hot fudge on a sonic blast on top, didn’t have any, the girl got annoyed when I complained and just took it back, barely put any the second time and handed it back to us and closed the window. The sonic blast second time around had two tiny pieces of snickers. This location is an absolute joke.

After we were done eating our meals we then wanted to order a banana split which apparently has been discontinued... Almost every night they say they're "short handed," but have 4-5 people inside working. Short handed is 2-3 people. Have to wait in 30 min line just for a slush. Could atleast take small drink orders outside. Need better organization skills, drink only orders outside and regular orders drive thru.

Sonic is short staffed and when we went we ordered at a stall. Our order was wrong. I immediately pushed the red button to ask for help and was told I have to get into the drive through line that was wrapped around the building to correct the order I had already waited 20 minutes for. Inside dining was closed.

Get a receipt! Sonic Corp Office please send the updated menus with correct prices. Advertising one price and charging customers another is just bad business. When I asked about this issue the server was upset and rolled her eyes and I felt bad even having to ask about the money. This happen on May 11, 2022. So many people like myself don't pay attention to their receipt or don't even ask for one, so how many customers are being charged a different price then advertised and how long has this been going on. Integrity is a must and charging your customers more money without their knowledge is just wrong.

If you are in a hurry, then avoid this place, even if it's empty. Only 3 cars in front of us and we spent 15 minutes to just order our food. After we ordered, we were told to park the car and they would bring our food to us, after 20 minutes of waiting I got out of the car and asked what was taking so long, they said 5 more minutes. I ended up canceling our order. 40 minutes that we wasted there and didn't even get to eat.

After sitting there for 10 min waiting because the machine confirmed I hit the red button and to wait, I called and asked to speak to a manager. I told her how long I had been sitting there and that other cars were pulling up and placing orders while I'm still waiting to give mine. They were not busy she confined that and said sometimes the machine can tell me to wait but its not working.... There was no sign indicating this. I should have been offered a drink or something for my trouble. That would have been good customer service but she just shrugged her shoulders and blamed the machine. She didn't care at all or put up a sign that that stall was not working properly. I hate bad customer service! The manger I spoke to was Ghema.

They are SLOOOOOOOW. I waited 25 min. for a medium cup of iced coffee in the morning with only 1 other car waiting. Ive waited 18 minutes for 1 breakfast corndog. Ive waited 10 minutes for a large cup of ice. There is only one girl that gives excellent customer service. I mainly go here for drinks, but food is okay. It's just ridiculous how long you have to wait when there is not a rush and they have 4 employees and a manager on duty.

Went today to this location before 2pm. It took for ever for them to answer to take order. Then the young lady couldn't hear me so I had to try and repeat. Then I continued to ordered and she still got order wrong. Tried to correct her but couldn't get her back on intercom. Will never go to this location ever again.

Biggest issue here,multiple people on drive thru speaker asking the same question you answered 4 times already then the attitude at the window and the constantly looking at each other laughing and joking then have the nerve to ask if you want your change back and then stand there looking at you expecting a tip right after they laughed in your face tlkd about you to other employees, this place is definitely going down hill and that's cause the immature kids working the window, will definitely not be attending this location anymore

Hands down the worst Sonic I have ever been to. The car hop was rude and clumsy. The kitchen staff lacks the skill to evenly distribute jalapenos on a hamburger. The fryer operator lacks the common knowledge on sending out fresh fries(fries felt like they were straight out of the freezer after sitting in the back of it for months with mold spots.) -n.vavrecka

Has Been Going Down hill for years but every once in a while i will try it. never fails for my order to be messed up some how and if its right i get extremely hard buns and old tots. they know its nasty when they are making it how could they not. last 6 out of 6 visits have been messed up. no more chances

There is a Hispanic girl that works at the drive-thru window and she is ALWAYS rude. Today I asked for a bag of ice (9am) and her response was “we are not doing bags of ice right now.” And when I got to the window and inquired, she got an attitude as if I was inconveniencing her. A few months ago, an employee literally ran out of the store and was chasing a customer and trying to fight him and cursing at him. I think this location needs to tighten up their management. I get it, it’s fast food and customer service is typically only expected to be top-tier at Chick-fil-A, but this type of behavior from staff is unacceptable.

This has to be the worst and slowest location ever. We moved to the area in 2018 and it was bad then. I didn't think it could get worse. You're lucky to even receive your order now. This is the 3rd time they simply forgot we ordered. We ordered 2 Blasts. After seeing other vehicles come and go after we placed our order, we knew we weren't going to receive our drinks. After 15 minutes we pressed the button to order again. A rushed apology was given and she took our order again. Wouldn't you know it?! They got the order wrong. It was just 2 Blasts!

I used to love sonic ordered through uber eats didn't get the soda and tots with one combo, the other had no tots. Didn't get the cheese tots were ordered. Didn't get the tots with the other combo. Didn't answer the phone when called about this. Used to be good only got people who don't care now. Please save your money eat anywhere else. 100% not worth your time anymore. I'm disappointed that's worse than mad.

Tonight I visited Sonic to get dinner. I went through the drive through and ordered mozzarella sticks and Buffalo chicken wings. When I arrived at the window to pay for my food I looked in the bag and saw marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks but no dipping sauce for the wings. I asked the lady for some ranch and was told that I would have to pay extra. I know that this young lady was just adhering to her immediate leaders directions but it is unacceptable that I can't get even one ranch to go with my Buffalo wings. I will not be back to this establishment and I hope leadership reviews their policies accordingly.

We literally watched a worker eating, by the drive through window, licking her fingers and then touching bags and cups. That is something you should never do while handling a customer’s food. Seriously, go take your break and eat your food! I was not about to take anything from them!

They keep forgetting to provide the sauce packets that I asked for. Sometimes the fries are stale. Mozarella sticks were stale, too, and no marinara sauce was given even though I asked for it. Once we waited for a while outside after checking in, and only after walking into the restaurant they admitted they didn't see our order. This place is kind of a mess. Only been coming because it's close by and for the $6 deal, but probably won't come back.

Update 8/24/2025: bought two drinks, one of them being a red bull in the can, and they gave me a room temperature drink. Had not come out of a fridge, or if it did it's been out for a few hours. How can you, a drink specialty vendor, serve a warm canned drink you don't even have to make. Red Bull needs to pull whatever contract they have with you cause you're making their drink a bad experience. 2023: Edit: If the franchise owner can't take the time to check out these reviews I'm not wasting my time "escalating". Original Review: Didn't receive all the sauces I'd ordered through the Sonic App, and when I told the employee they said they can't give them away anymore. It's not my fault if the sauces I'm adding to my order don't get charged through the app. From the app they can be added with the meal I'm ordering, not sure why the employee is dictating what I can order through the app.

Multiple times I have been to this location. Multiple times they mess my order up beyond comprehension...usually attributed to "car hop brought the wrong bag". If my order was actually correct I might rate the food better.

Let customers know once you sell out of something before they put an order in. I waited 30 minutes in line for no reason. To get a unicorn slushing without the unicorn straw. That's the whole point of the unicorn slushy. Don't tell me after I paid you for my order. Then hand it to me, then tell me you're out of the straw. 👎

Drive through experience horrible. Ordered 3 drinks all flat and when I mentioned it truly a lack of concern to fix it. Staff just look unorganized. Ordered cheese sticks tasted old just disappointed. Hopefully it was just a missed night

This is one of the saddest sonic I been to. It is so uninviting it needs a new coat of paint everywhere. Along with that the food is constantly bad. I don't know why I continue to give them my business. I place a mobile order today it said my food would be ready at 1:19 pm. I get there get parked in the mobile order parking and it takes the only car hop 15 minutes to get me my food. The whole time I waited I didn't see anyone else come out to bring anyone orders. The food was itself was cold and tasted okay. I will no longer be coming to this location.

The employee at the windows stated they had gravy for all chicken tenders so I purchased and received my food. When picking up the food, she stated sonic no longer has gravy and discontinued. It appears that they do not train thier employees as they do not know the menu at all.

I got what I ordered, but it wasn't really hot. I went when there was nobody in the drive thru and only one other car was parked. It still took 15 minutes to get my mobile order sent to my car. Another car drove up, I'm assuming also placed a mobile order because I didn't hear them order anything at the speaker, and got their food before me. Just seems silly that when they are slow it still takes this long to get my food. And it's not really hot. I'd rather drive out of my way to the Needville location to get Sonic than to go to the Rosenberg location that's closer to me. The folks at the Needville location are much friendlier and faster than the Rosenberg location.

I ordered a grilled cheese and the picture shows you what I got. I called to tell the manager about it. Although she did offer to refund or replace sandwich, I told her I’m in needville and will not drive back for that. I simply called to inform manager of the issue so it can be fixed for future customers. She told me that other customers have called for the same thing and that’s just the way the toaster works because they don’t use oil. My home toaster can toast bread just fine without oil. I don’t understand.

Went for a breakfast burrito, left with a frito pie in a tortilla, lmao, not what i wanted, and my slushee is just dyed water, no slush, didn’t let it melt down either, it came that way, wish mcdonald’s line wasn’t so long or i wouldn’t have ever came here lmao, i didn’t even get the tots, and the “burrito” or wtv this thing is, it’s just carbs, fritos and a tortilla, i don’t know who’s ordering this for breakfast but not me😂

Went to this Sonic with my sister, and if I could give this location 0 stars I would. The employees were very rude, there was extremely poor customer service, and to top it all off, there was a bug in my drink. Don’t eat here, it’s not worth your money.

June 13, This location is said to be open at 6 a.m. and the online order app allows you to place your order which is prepaid. But, at 6:23 a.m. there were no employees working. One finally showed up to open at 6:24. Management needs to look into the work ethic.

The employees eat right front of the customers in the food preparation area at this Rosenberg Sonic. I don't have a problem with the workers eating and drinking but I DO have a problem when a Sonic worker is eating where they are putting together mine and everyone else's food and also eating with the same gloved hands on that they're serving mine and everyone else's food with - exactly like this Sonic worker was doing. If you notice in the picture you can see her gloved hand at her mouth actually eating with the gloves still on her hands then she went back to making and serving people's food and drinks..

I live nearby and this Sonic is absolutely the worst. I have tried them out several times after I moved here. The drink machine is always broken, slow service, even getting one item orders seems to be difficult, they seem to be desensitized with making errors because the staff is nice and acts like it's business as usual when you bring it to their attention.
