Olive Garden San Angelo Reviews
The atmosphere is typical for Olive Garden, design was clean. I tried the spiked strawberry lemonade which had fresh mint and strawberries. Our server Josh was pleasant and humorous. He could read the room well and adapt. Kids had spaghetti with meatballs, my husband had the seafood Alfredo and I had the Shrimp Scampi.
This is a standard Olive Garden, which has good food overall. You may wonder why I am giving it such a high rating, here I why; the service was over the top. Viktoria was our waitress and she went out of her way to make our visit special, and t make us feel special. She kept the food and refills coming and double check on us to make sure we were happy. We will be back again.
Me and my family came for dinner for my birthday and we had Tiffany R as our server. She was amazing and very attentive and patient because I did have kids with me. She even suggested food for us. She was amazing.
Great service and very good steak
Service was excellent! We were seated immediately and given a baby seat right away. The baby had priority(which is a plus!!!) And the waiter gave hot plate warnings and kept things out of reach of the very YOUNG 2 year old so I could serve her! A+++
Endless salad, breadsticks, and soup for a few dollars more than fast food. Love it. The chicken gnocchi is amazing
I'm literally sitting in Olive Garden listening to the manager & waitress assist a customer with a limited diet, put together a dish to accommodate them in such a fantastic way!!! (Health issues) . I love this so much. All while not making them feel pressured or bad for their diet need !! This is customer service at its best. (The customer was very kind as well). I'm am a business owner myself & loved seeing this in action!! Customers & waitstaff/ management attitudes combined can make an experience amazing!!! Good job Olive Garden San Angelo!!
Lovely family dinner at the Olive Garden. The waitress was especially friendly and accommodating to our large table. Everyone was happy with their food choices! Special shout out for the calamari, and the endless soup/salad/bread sticks.
Olive Garden is a fairly ubiquitous franchise that can be found in most towns and cities. The experience, however, can vary greatly. This location has a track record for being most excellent and consistent. They redesigned how they would offer food early in the pandemic, and at very reasonable prices - something not every location seems to have done. They may get busy at times, but their servers and cooks are fast and seem genuinely nice... Opposed to that forced overly-happy-30-items-of-flair happy. Just wanted to leave the comment that this is a good example of Olive Garden, and even if you had bad experienced at other locations you should give this one a try (just maybe not on Fri night or similar if you don't want to wait in queue).
Had fantastic meal with excellent service. Quick seating even during a busy rush. The waitress was quick to give refills, very nice, and answered any question we had. The food was delicious, our desserts were the perfect size and packed full of flavor. We will definitely come back in the future. Totally hope everyone has such a great experience.
The customer service is top notch. I visit this establishment several times a week and never, I mean, never have a problem. From the managers to the wait staff. Great Job!!!!!!!!
My Fiancé and I ate here for our anniversary and the service couldn’t have been more wonderful, the food came so quickly we had barely finished our appetizer, everything was hot and delicious!
This was not my first time at all in terms of eating at Olive Garden, in general. However, this was only my second visit to this particular location. Both times, I had a great dining experience, however, this review is specifically about my most recent visit to this Olive Garden location. Again, my overall experience was great. I was with a large group, so, as to be expected, we did have to wait a little for our food. It was a short wait considering the large number of people in our group. That was a definite plus in my book. Our server was very polite and did an outstanding job dealing with everything that goes with serving a large group. I wish I remembered the young man’s name, because I would definitely request him the next time I happened to be with a large group. He was patient and was additionally helpful AND understanding when someone at our table spilled their water all over the table. Will definitely recommend this Olive Garden to friends & family & will definitely dine here again myself when in town.
The food was delicious and satisfying. The waitress was polite and attentive. It wasn't too noisy or busy. We REALLY enjoyed our meal. Olive Garden is ne of our favorite places to eat.
Our sever Julia was the sweetest. She had a positive attitude and was always ready fo help and offered us refills all the time.
Jordan was a phenomenal waitress she was on time with everything! We never had to ask for a drink refill she checked on us consistently and was very respectful and kind we will definitely be coming back and requesting her ! The service was phenomenal as I enjoyed my strawberry spiked lemonade along with my ten bowls of gnocchi soup😆😭 it was honestly the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant
Emily was great. I was only halfway done with my bowl of soup with the main meal came out... They're really quick out there. Food was piping hot too. It was absolutely excellent.
Popped in for a quick lunch of soup, salad and bread sticks. Delicious!
This was a very good visit from my last. The last time I found a press on nail in my salad and haven't been back since. Decided to give it another try and I was very pleased this visit. The service was awesome. We sat on the bar side. Our server was working the bar and the tables. She was very attentive and quick. She made sure our drinks were always filled. Even tho the bar full of customers, she never forgot her tables. She was very good!
Food took about 10 min. But was very delicious. Eggplant parmesan
The place is clean, nice ambience and people are friendly. The waiter even helped me pick a drink. Food is good and.
The best. Everyone in our party loved their food. Large portions Friendly staff..DELICIOUS food
A patron with us did not tip the waitress because she was wearing a very large nose ring which we also found disturbing. Does OG not have a dress code for staff. I am reluctant to return. She also did not pick up used plates.
We had the most amazing server. So attentive and had a good amount of tables going. Never let our drinks get even halfway empty, always checked on us. Taylor was her name I believe. She made us feel so welcome, even our little boy. Management, please make sure she gets treated like the priceless employee she is.
Been here twice. Dine in and car side to go. Seating was slow even though lots of tables were available. I know there are other factors but still frustrating when you are hungry. Once we were seated service was fantastic. Caitlyn was amazing. Food was delicious. The car side was a bit slow but we also did the $6 chilled entree. We have not tried them yet but food was almost as good as eating in! We return for sure.
This has been a great place that we have gone to many times over the last 5 or 6 years . Hadley was our waitress this time and she said she just got out of training 3 days ago . This young lady was superb . I figured she had waitressed somewhere before and she said no sir this was her first . She kept the nocci soup & bread sticks coming and kept our tea glasses full . Good waitresses like this are hard to find . Yall did great hiring her Olive Garden and whoever trained her did a great job . Thanks . See ya next time
We had a great experience here. We were a party of 12 ( or 10 with 2 small children in high chairs) we arrived at 6:30 pm and we were seated promptly. Maddie was our server and she was excellent! She was attentive and remembered and fulfilled every single request. The food came out in a timely manner and it was hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean. The high chairs were also extremely clean! They obviously clean them between uses. I recommend this place and I will eat here again.
Good food, knowledgeable staff. They took good care of us. Kinda on the spendier side, but for a sit down place not bad.
Had a gift card from my husbands birthday an we decide to try Olive Garden. Pasta is good food. We all love pasta. Was taken care of by a very polite girl . Who helped me with all my questions and took my order. Didn’t take long at all to get my food. And everything tasted fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Atmosphere was quiet and not rushed everyone had a smile and I enjoyed it. Parking easy and plenty. Everything looked clean and shiny. Nice place! Will go back soon.
We sit at the bar, atmosphere is great, bartenders are observant and very friendly. Service is expedient and wonderful. The Manager Josh, is awesome. We eat at this location 2-3 times monthly.
my server, Selina was the most precious, kind and endearing waitress I’ve had in a long time, definitely give her a pat on the back. She’s doing a great job. I will be returning because of her. She knew that I was on a break from work and diligently took care of me quickly And with great accuracy. Thank you Selina!
Today we ate here as a bitter sweet lunch. When I first found out I was pregnant with twins we celebrated here and today when I found out I’d lost one of them we decided to go here as well as a full circle moment despite our grief. Thank you for the compassion on one of the hardest days of my life and for allowing me the privacy to feed one child while grieving the loss of the other. I can’t even explain how much that means just thank you for being kind and caring.
Came up for a graduation Luncheon. My cousin, mother of graduate had initiated a call a day before as a courtesy as they don't do reservations fyi and that table setting for a least 25 would be coming as heads up. That Saturday she also called to see how crowd's were and on phone received notification oh wait times. We settled for 3pm with seating still for at least 25. We arrived. . Plenty of parking and wait wasn't long at all. We had 2 waitresses that were AWESOME! Got our orders correctly very small wait for food. The only glitch as the last arrived not enough room, we respectively asked if another table could be added. As there was a Empty spot in front of the beverage area. A manager came out if no where and told us we could not have another table as we did ask for setting of 25. We explained we understood we were just asking. My cousin is very shy and she won't speak up. We all just scooted and squeezed in and made it work. All 23 of us. So no... setting was not for 25, my cousin was correct in the approximate number of guests. Paying guests. Other than that manager, the waitstaff did good. Kept us topped off. Kept the tickets separated as asked. The food was HOT!! My Trio plate allowed me to try out 3 dishes, fettuccine noodles CRAZY AWESOME! The lasagna was so tasty and cheesy and marinera sauce in it was so good. My chicken parmesan chicken was over crispy and hard to cut. But other than that everyone enjoyed their meals. Salad and breadsticks always on point and a win!!! The shrimp fettuccine was a favorite. I would love one day if it was grilled but still awesome. The graduate love it, Olive Garden helped bring this family together.
Enjoyed a quiet Wednesday evening supper at 8 PM after a long day on 7/31/19. Restaurant was not overly crowded. Weekends can be very busy but this was a perfect time to visit. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The food was delicious and filling. The restaurant was clean and the air conditioning felt wonderful. Our drinks were always promptly refilled. Will definitely return.
Ms.christina the bartender was was attentive especially when she understood i may be needy lol but she definitely stepped up and in for all my needs drink wise and to go food! Thank you
Great Experience at Olive Garden – San Angelo, TX We had a great dining experience at the Olive Garden in San Angelo! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot, and the salad and breadsticks were as delicious as always. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing dinner. Overall, great food, great service, and a great experience!
My husband and I had supper tonight ❤️😘🤤🤤🤤🤤👨🏾🍳🔪there was 0 time waiting. We schedule a " reservation" on the app. I had the Chicken 🐔🍗 & Shrimp 🍤🦐 carbonara and my husband had the Five cheese 🧀 penne. Also the waiter Names Joseph was AMAZING ❗❗❗🫶🏾💯💯 it was nice to see another Native American in the building 🔥🙏🏾🫶🏾 he was super nice and made my night because I was not in a great mood but after I got some food and Josephs great attitude 😁 made everything BETTER 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 10/10❗❗❗❗ From the time we checked in with the hostess to dessert. I loved it. Great job everyone 👑
The place was so nice we celebrate our anniversary 20th we had the new steak in shrimp with a spicy sauce and it was amazing we also had shrimp and broccoli fettuccine and a chocolate cake made with dark chocolate and white chocolate on top the waitress Amy was awesome 5 stars ⭐ And the manager was very nice and helpful at our table 💯👍
We had Jaelynn as our server and she 2as beyond incredible. She served us at the bar and she had tables and from what I noticed no one went without. She stated on top of everyone's needs and the food was hot and fresh. All this on a super busy Veterans day celebration day.
Me and my boyfriend came in pretty close to closing time. At most places they get upset when you do that and don’t give you quality service. This place was not like most. The staff were so nice and even made us laugh. The food was fresh and tasted so amazing. Especially the chicken Marsala. Our waiter was funny and checked on us often. Even though we showed up late they treated us amazing and with respect.
I had fun hanging out with my girlfriend and my girlfriend mom and jonnie and the food and drinks and the service is amazing and awesome and cool and it was my first time going there at Olive garden and the place looks nice
We were having a bad week and a very bad day at both of our jobs but we were not going to let it stop our date night we tried going to cheddars and we were treated very badly and just left before we even got a table but I wanted to try one more spot and I don’t regret trying Olive Garden. I can’t remember our waiters name but even though it was busy and seemed a little crazy for the waiters he was really nice and gave me a good suggestion for a drink and he made our day even better I wish I could find out his name because he really deserves a raise we will definitely be returning and hopefully we get the same waiter if we don’t I hope they are as good as he was thank y’all for everything.

A bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere is always friendly and the food is always delicious. My wife loves them.\n\n(If you get bored by the pastas, try the sirloin or the salmon.)

Had one of the best chicken alfredo fettuccine dishes I've had in a long time. The wait service was good, too, although the waitress we have was very persistent on trying to upsell us.

Took forever for me to get my entree. When asked the server told me that they had a party. Hmmmmm. Where??? I didn’t see it. I am editing this review because the manager realized what was happening and, without me saying a word about the service, was nice enough to comp my meal.
The food was delicious, well priced I believe yet what I found lacking was the service. It wasn't her fault exactly but we did have to wait on drink refills and any other things we needed. Over all I would still recommend it as a place to go and enjoy with friends and family.
I would like to thank The Olive garden and Trina (our waitress for the evening) this past Sunday evening for a delightful experience. The food was Great. Trina was wonderful in keeping up with our needs even though she was extremely busy. we had not been to an olive garden in awhile and decided to give them a try again. And we were not disappointed. So again 4 Stars and a Hardy Thanks to everyone involved that evening including the greeters / hostess who were very polite, and quick to get us seated.
Good value. Great atmosphere.
Pastas are so dry you might as well boil pasta at home. We asked for extra sauce and never got it. Reminded the server and he said I'll go get it but never came back. Never got our drinks refilled. Will not be coming back. Joe's Italian is better
Was a little disappointed as they didn't have Stuffed Shells. They have stuffed Shells in Austin and when I asked the server about them she said that they never came brought the stuffed Shells back after COVID-19 which I thought was super odd. Nonetheless I order the steak with fettuccine alfredo. The steak did not disappoint. It was so good and went great with the fettuccine. Service was great also. Will definitely be back.
Waiting service always terrible. Staff spread too thin. They always have 4 or 5 bodies holding down that hostess podium. Yet always takes an illogical amount of time to decide which empty table to put us at.
It was so delicious! Great service it one thing I have to say! I recommend there chicken fettuccine Alfredo and Lasagna. Chef kiss🤌🏼 Seem really clean great food great appetizers and drinks it is just a bit pricey but get what you pay for! Lemonade it also very quenching.
Came here for dinner with friend, it was super busy, but we got seated within 30 minutes. Can never go wrong with the endless soup and salad. My peach raspberry iced tea was delicious and unlimited refill, which was awesome. My cheese ravioli was really good. My only gripe was the melted cheese on top, which looked like oven pizza cheese, a bit excessive for my taste, but it came off with ease. The only thing we didn't like was we were sat under an A/C vent but we dealt with it, it was just cold, so least we know the HVAC system works, haha. Waitress was attentive and the manager even came around to make sure everything was good with our meals. Overall, good night, would come back again.
The hostess was kind enough to move us from an uncomfortable spot to a table that was more fitting for the amount of us without any hesitation once I asked. They were pretty busy and our server was on it! She really did well at making sure we had everything we needed and checked on us when I knew she had several large groups! The food was good but I took one star away because this is an Italian restaurant and the noodles were One Step Above mushy. I will also say it was quite expensive in my opinion. We all got the same thing, never ending Pasta Bowl and we added meat so that was an additional cost. Salad and breadsticks or soup were also never ending which was nice. There were five of us, three sodas, one sweet tea, and one water and that was our entire order. Total was $117 and some change Plus tip.
I love that Waiters and waitresses were very dressed and very proper. But keep in mind if you have family and friends don't be ugly to others. Waitress be more smiling and passionate, the front wait staff was amazing.
Had been about a year since we've been to an Olive Garden, and once again we filled up on salad 🥗. They need to be a little quicker on bring out the main course. We both got the spaghetti and meat sauce. Needed a little more sauce but tasted great. The raspberry tea was awesome. Daughter picked the taste of Italy 🇮🇹, she enjoyed it. Since we filled up on salad we had leftovers for lunch today.
The baked macaroni and lobster were good but felt a little underwhelming given the price. The lasagna chocolate cake was delicious! I was not a fan of the sauce I ordered with the bread sticks. I forget the name but it had something to do with sundried tomatoes.... Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Occasionally the food isn’t great but for the most part it is. The service is almost always awesome. There was a hostel in a pink sweater who was very short, but I would have been grumpy too if I was wearing a sweater in August in Texas. The to go staff seem to be the hardest working staff in the building.
Honestly not so bad! I had the angel hair and meat sauce on the side. The salad was fresh, crisp, and cold. The sauce wasn’t too acidic and the sausage and meat in it tasted pretty good. It was decent and comforting! Service was stellar!
Decent and quiet Italian restaurant, perfect for dining in. The service was very fast — our appetizer came out in about 10 minutes and the entrée was served right after. Staff were attentive and friendly. Loved the freshly baked garlic bread and the spaghetti with their homemade sauce. The Caesar salad was fresh and crispy. We usually order online, but this time we decided to dine in, and it was definitely worth it! A great go-to spot in San Angelo when craving Italian food.😘

Maybe the staff was having a bad day. But we didn’t receive out appetizers, one of us never got a napkin or silverware (even after asking), and our server seemed like she didn’t want to have to deal with us. Food tasted alright.
The food is typical OG food. Good but nothing special. The service was very good. Except for one thing. I ordered a Kamikazi mixed drink with my meal and the server came back saying the bartender didn't have the right stuff to make it for me. So I'm curious, since a Kamikazi is made with vodka, triplesec, and lime juice, which ingredient were they out of.
Portions are always more than enough. Dishes are very satisfying. However they seem to like a little bit of salt and pepper and or sauces depending on what dish you order. Staff is always friendly environment is always casual and quiet even a little romantic. The prices are a little much so you can't go done with them on a budget. It's about $15 to $20 a plate
My Stepson chose Olive Garden for his birthday meal. We had a table of 6 when the salad came out it was drenched in dressing, we could not eat it. Our food took about an hour, I got the sirloin and it was flavorless. Everyone enjoyed their food but it could have been better. Our server was wonderful. Usually we have a great experience but this time was pretty bad.
I went to this restaurant and did enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had good service from Richael. However, I found it kinda strange she has no customer service skills in casual conversation, especially for a bartender.
I don't know if I went on a bad day, had the worst waitress, she was rude and not attentive at all, never got a refill on our drinks, it's always busy there as well. The manager was rude. We had a question for him, and he never came; he just had the waitress be the messenger. Good food as always, would not eat inside again.
We went for a larger get together to celebrate a birthday. Food was okay, it was the wait staff half of them were very attentive and the other half lacked any skills at all.
Sloooow service. Sat night resturant half full. waited over 40 mins for food. Asked for it to go. when we got it. Cross this off list. Need new management
Chicken was rubbery and gristle tastes like its cooked in microwave. Some of their food might be actually cooked on location but this tastes like frozen dinner. Very little cream sauce on alfredo which is their best feature. Not going back. Salad was alright and staff was good.
Everything seemed fine until we got to the bottom of the salad bowl. Then found some kinda piece of what looked like a plastic piece of a salad bag. Was totally turned off of the food. Stopped eating everything. Manager verified that, that was indeed what it was. We were still left with almost 19.00 dollars to pay. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the food and service from the manager. Waitress was awesome. Don't think I will be going back.
Olive Garden has kind of fallen off. Food is very basic. We all agreed we could go the rest of our lives without eating here again. Service was good. No knock to them. The food is just mediocre at best.
My family and I went to Olive Garden to celebrate my sister having a baby. We were seated quickly and attended to well. The service is not the reason I was so disappointed. The food was mediocre and over priced. I knew it wasn't going to be a 5-star experience but I expected for my $18 PIECE of lasagna to have SOME flavor. We did order dessert and I ordered the black-tie mousse cake. For a $9 piece of cake, I was sorely disappointed. Overall, my experience with staff was spectacular, everyone was incredibly nice and professional. However, the food was mediocre, and almost gross.
They were out of onions 🌰 for the salad it was dinner time, my pasta and my wife's dish not as good as pervious visits. Waitress never came by to offer dessert because we always enjoy the warm donuts 🍩. Very disappointing experience. 😞
My chicken parmigiana sauce tasted like it came from a can, I asked for pink sauce but the waiter/ waitress had no idea what I was talking about. The lights went out, and when my refill came she put water in my lemonade, the gnocchi was weird like it was separated. He got the unlimited soup and salad and breadsticks and hebnever got a refill on soup and we had to ask for more breadsticks, this is uncomfortable and im mad that i am fixin to pay for this. I won't come back. Olive garden has gone down hill.
Service was completely awful. Our server basically ignored us the entire time. The 2 times he did come over to the table he rushed us and gave to go boxes way before our food was finished. I took that as, "hurry up and get out." Very unhappy with my experience with service. On a positive note, our food came out quickly and was delivered by a food runner.
I like going to OG, I love the food and atmosphere. I can’t say the same about my experience at this location. It was dust and fire the lack of a better word, crusty. There was dust on the windows, walls and light pendants; the dust was falling into my drink and food. There was also a lot of dried up food on the tiles and wall. I was also disappointed with my all time favorite toscana soup. The soup’s flavor was completely off, as if was old. No manager ever came by to check in on us, otherwise I would have said something about the lack of leadership and standards. Throughout my entire visit I had visibility of the host station. 6 or 7 people standing and conversing, so I know there were people available to clean. Not a good day for this location.
I used to really like Olive Garden and have had a lot of birthdays and family gatherings there. Unfortunately, since COVID, this one has fallen on very hard times with its food quality. On my most recent visit, our orders had about half the food quantity that they used to have. The cream sauces tasted cheap, like they forgot to use the good ingredients they formerly used. They also covered only about 1/4 of the pasta with the sauce, leaving the rest dry. On one of the orders we found long black hairs in the food, which cost us what was left of our appetites. The salads either come out bone dry or soaked to the brim with dressing, and the breadsticks are usually as hard as a rock with little flavoring. The only good aspect of this restaurant is the attitude and work ethic of the waitstaff employees. They are always apologetic for the condition of the food and try their best under the circumstances.
If you're going to serve warm flat soda out of a bottle you should warn your customer before they're charged $4 for something they won't drink. The food was mediocre at best! The service was the only saving grace!
We had a great night today celebrating my birthday, our server Juan was great. Until the last 10 minutes or so. One of my friends unfortunately had an incident and threw up. We cleaned up what we could, before we told the server what happened. He seems concerned and reassured that it was okay, and he'd take care of it. He brought another server, I don't know who, it was a shorter man than Juan and told him to pick up the plate. The man backed away and said:"Oh, nah, man. I'm not picking that up." He then outwardly made fun of me friend which I was the only one who heard him, before he walked off. I was shocked to say the least. Then I was told that the same server who made fun of my friend asked my sister to be HIS GIRLFRIEND. Absolutely inappropriate behavior. I was angry and my experience was ruined by the staff. I asked that some penalty or at least a talk be given to both staff members.
For a $25 take out meal (single meal) I expected better. Had to throw out half my salad because the lettuce was bad. Out of town and picked Olive Garden since I am a fan and they have consistent quality. Wish I had just grabbed fast food. Also, when did restaurants start automatically adding gratuity to takeout order? I’m all for fairly compensating staff but gratuity should be for service. Charge a take out fee if you must but let the consumer know about it.
Ok, so I have been to a ton of Olive Gardens in my days, but this one takes the cake for the worst. Now the waitress was really nice, definitely do not want to put her in the mix. To start off, the silverware was dirty and the napkin smelled of mildew, so we all asked for a new set. The next one came out just as dirty so we ended up asking for plastic ware. Then I had the soup, salad, and breadsticks. Came out, and the breadsticks were as hard as rocks, even though I had dipped it in my soup. This was returned also, and the 2nd came out not as hard, but not like it used to be. My son got the spaghetti and meatballs, and my friend got the chicken Alfredo. They said it was OK. Overall it wasn't good, and $50 will definitely not be spent here again! Very disappointing.
As a former server and hostess, I would never be rude, and I completely understand that it was busy. However, it was frustrating to see customers continue to wait while others were being seated more quickly. The situation felt extremely rude and unprofessional. Our information was taken, but we were never given an estimated wait time, while other parties were seated ahead of us. There were about four or five hostesses standing there, yet there was little to no communication or organization. I understand the location may have been short-staffed, but the hostesses should have been more specific, communicative, and organized.
Do not bother trying to use the OG app for delivery. It does not work. And after 15 minutes combined of run around and on hold, I was informed they could not or would not assist. Management was not i…

The worst olive garden experience ever. waited 5 minutes for the hostess to seat the table for two in front of us. Asked if there was a wait. She said no and just kept punching on the seating pad…
Maybe this place has made some changes in staff because service is not what it use to be. My sister and I go to dinner often because it’s just us two, on a cold day we decided to have soup and salads. We were sat down in a nice section didn’t take long to sit us down. Well we sat for 27mins before anyone came to help us. Other guest were served, attended and we still didn’t say anything... our waitress was very nice and try to make up for it by offering free things. It wasn’t about the free stuff we just wanted some warm soup(soup was cold)and some wine. But Olive Garden dropped the ball on us.. when you spend money you worked for you want to eat good. I’m so disappointed.
Seated at 630pm was told at 7pm our order was lost never received food. At 7:30pm when we decided to leave. Was brought 3 breadstucks and our soups, that's it the hour we were there.
This would be a 4 to 5 star rating except for the charge I see against my card doesn't match what I was charged on my receipt. Please make this right and I'll rate appropriately.
One Star – Negligence That Could Have Killed My Wife I’ve never been more furious or terrified in my life. My wife has a severe shellfish allergy, which I clearly stated multiple times when I placed my order at the Olive Garden in San Angelo. The online menu only showed “Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara,” so I specifically called to ensure the shrimp would be removed and that the kitchen staff would take all necessary precautions—new gloves, separate utensils, and zero cross-contamination. What happened next? My wife started coughing and wheezing shortly after we began eating. It turns out the manager admitted that the crucial “shellfish allergy” note was never passed along to the back-of-house staff. My wife ended up in the ER because of Olive Garden’s negligence. Had I not intervened and rushed her for medical care, this could have ended in absolute tragedy. A restaurant that claims to take allergies seriously should never drop the ball like this. Their negligence is not just shocking—it’s dangerous, potentially life-threatening. If you or anyone you love has food allergies, steer clear. This was a horrifying experience, and it’s one we’ll never forget. You’d better believe I’m sharing this everywhere I can. Olive Garden, your failure could have killed my wife. You need to do better—a lot better.
I'm on a business trip. I just went in and tried to get a table. The place is still open for an hour. The young hostess said that they don't have any tables ,and she had to check with someone. I understand that they are closing, but I came an hour beforehand. I didn't expect to be turned away. I looked around and there's about a thousand tables open. I told her I could sit at the bar area and she said that they don't have any tables open there either. I really love Olive garden but guess they didn't want my money.. I'm terribly disappointed!
Ordered an Italian margarita that comes with a shot of ameretto, was given half a shot...yet still charged the same price. Our waitress was also working the bar. Asked for alfredo sauce with the bread sticks, got them then the waitress goes on to talk to another employee for a good 20 minutes instead of bringing the sauce.
The bread sticks were unfortunately burnt. The chicken Alfredo chicken was rubbery . The sweet tea wasn't fresh , definitely old . The lettuce was brown & soggy definitely not crispy & fresh . The spiked lemonade was weak flavored. The regular lemonade was great . The staff was inappropriately speaking on very personal private stuff within ear shot of all customers.
