The CAF San Angelo Reviews
Love their hamburgers. I was happy to see this on the menu. Also liked the yogurt and fruit I had tonight. They were helpful when the ranch ran out for my salad. This is a nice place to eat. I enjoyed supper with my bestie.

Consistently high quality all you can eat food. Good selection
It was nice enough, for a small university's cafeteria, in the middle of the summer, during a time when there isn't really any classes right now. The barbecue beef was as good as I've had at any other barbecue place. The staff were really nice, and explained everything to me. Eating there cost me a couple bucks less than eating at a Wendy's. And, it's all you can eat. In exchange for that, it's a pretty limited menu. Just a couple of meat items and some vegetables. They told me they have a lot more options when school is actually in session. I asked and they told me that having more people from the public come in would actually be good for them. It would help support the university a little bit. So, I will probably start eating there more often, The best part was that there were no screaming kids. 👍
They have done a good job opening under unusual conditions: constant cleaning, rearrangement of furniture, masks. The salad bar and pizza are just as good as ever and the workers are cheerful. The workers deserve a raise for stepping up to the challenge with cheerful service.
The food has improved and is actually good now. They usually have 4 or 5 counters open, all with different kinds of food. There usually isn't a wait, but it does have busy times.

The food is edible so it’s something I suppose. The pizzas though, no words.

Food isn't great here. The staff is incredible, but if you're going to eat here everyday for every meal, get ready to feel sick of everything here.
Great place to eat using the meal plan , however good food is fairly rare and its normally undercooked food with an ant problem.

The lady at the front ALWAYS seems to be in a bad mood. The people serving the line give some students more food than others. There's hardly ever more than 2 lines open (at least every time I'd been in) and the food isn't the best. Very few times has the food been good.

The employee named Maria is the disgrace of this nice cafe. There was one time she hand-grabbed my pancakes with the same gloves she was wearing for dirty cleaning seconds ago. It is a clear violation of any health code by any standard, not just Chartwells. When I pointed that out, she turned extremely rude and yelled in Spanish back to me. Afterward, her supervisor talked to her about this issue, but she still kept the same attitude and even worse till today. Sometimes she speaks Spanish curse words behind my back, noticed by my friends. She might look friendly around her coworkers, but there is another side of her.

Can you please erase my name from the work bored so I never have to hear from you guys again
I can't believe they feed this food to our students!!Choice of burnt corn dogs, fries, very dry chicken and green beans. The dessert well chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies good!!!
Eating this food everyday has taken a toll on my health; both physical and mental. The food is either undercooked or burnt. They don't know what toppings are on the pizza half the time and often tell people the wrong thing causing dietary restrictions to be violated. They're also always out of every food that they're serving even if you arrive 10 minutes after they open.
