I had a bit of a delay in the SD airport, and wanted to grab a bite to eat before flying back to Houston. This was quite literally the only option in the terminal There are plenty of places to sit, but because it’s the only real place to have a meal, available seating was limited. The vibe was just like any other airport restaurant bar in terms of space, color, decor, etc The staff were friendly and helpful. A sever will take your order and bring you your food. The menu offers a variety of typical restaurant/bar foods. Nothing was overly new and exciting, but they had some classic crowd favorites I enjoyed the pulled pork nachos. The the flavor of the pork wasn’t my favorite, but it was nothing a little sriracha couldn’t fix Some tips: If you want to spice up your meal use the sriracha. They should have a bottle on your table, and if not, ask the server for some. Also, they have some local beers on tap if you want to try something you can’t get elsewhere It did take a while to get the check, and if you are pressed for time in an airport, you definitely need that to be a priority. But I was able to flag someone down to get it Cheers!!

Had breakfast at Urban Crave while traveling through San Diego Airport. The food was decent—nothing spectacular, but it did the job. What really stood out was our server, Mel—she was fantastic! Super attentive, friendly, and clearly a hard worker. She made the experience much better with her great service. Overall, a convenient spot for a quick bite before a flight.

We had a chicken salad (good), my daughter split chicken sandwich that looked sad and boring, the nachos were for 1 or maybe another person portion size with minimal pulled pork, but the great service, homemade potatoes chips and the thick chicken quesadilla saved the evening!

As airport food goes, Urban Crave is pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way for this if it were outside of an airport I fly out of 3-4 times per month. But, as far as breakfast is concerned, this is a decent spot previously in Terminal 2 of SAN and now in Terminal 1. A Bloody Mary and the "Yuppie Wrap" was my usual Monday 6am meal before they moved to Terminal 1. The Yuppie Wrap is a wrap that contains bacon, eggs, cheese, avocado, and fries. (Kudos to them for not trying to claim this is a burrito.) I usually hold the fries -- not for taste reasons -- but because it makes the wrap too heavy for my first meal of the work week. When I've flown out of SAN in non-morning hours (which is rare), I've ordered the chili hot dog, which is humongous and also decent -- better than most pub hot dogs. Best yet, none of Urban Crave's food has resulted in an unfortunate lavatory visit during any of my long trans-con flights. My biggest complaint about this place is that it is slightly over-priced, even for airport restaurants. Given the lack of reasonable alternatives, I deal with it. If you like your Bloody Marys spicy, be sure to tell them that when you order.

We ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a hamburger with tots. The food was lukewarm at best. You could taste the grease in the hamburger. Service was slow, but it was busy. Of course, when you're in an airport, the prices are exorbitant, modern-day highway robbery. $75 for two meals that would cost $25 tops outside the airport. We didn't walk the entire airport. Much of it is under construction. You are limited to 3 or 4 choices per terminal. Bring a sandwich, cheaper, and probably better.

Had a flight on SW. Busy busy. Server was nice and she was always coming around. I ordered the macho nacho.... wow! Tortilla chips....cold... canned cheese... cold...canned chicken (I think) ....cold and some onion, chili and jalapeños... naturally hot!. So not worth the 18 dolla!.. beer was good! 2 beers and nachos $50 bucks.

Almost the only choice to eat in this terminal. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted and our waitress arrived promptly. Sriracha Mary's were ordered and brought out relatively quickly (and are delish) but they are slow in the kitchen and the folks next to us who ordered after us, received their food first, ours not arriving until much, much later. The food was cold and everything was tasteless! Including the quesidilla and guacamole, very surprising! They allowed a dog to walk in on leash and sit under a table... A little surprising..

The airport was slow and the restaurant was empty and the service was still so SLOW. Also they gave me the handheld pos to check out and never offered me a receipt and I had to get up 25 minutes after sitting there to ask for one….

One star review for me. The lack of competition for other places to eat for gates 11-18 at the San Diego airport is the only reason this place can still be in business. My meal seen here was 25.78 USD. I get that it is the airport and the prices are higher, but I felt ripped off for the sandwich I got. Take notice that the crispy chicken sandwich just has lettuce and pickles. That is it. They did not even bother to put any sauce on it. I can get 5 of these at Chick-fil-A at a much higher quality for the same price almost. This airport restaurant was the last straw for me. From now on I am bringing snacks for my quick flights through San Diego. Overpriced. The service was also very slow, and I would have rather saved my money and ate after I got to my final destination. I did not tip.

the staff here is so rude and uninterested… most of them focus on the corner by the kitchen entrance and completely ignore the front register side. also, they seemingly treat airport employees with less “customer service” than they do actual customers, which isn’t much to begin with. an awful practice. should re-train and maybe even provide a front register service bell to get their attention.

Eat before you get to the airports.. drinks are goodies.. but there is no other choice in Terminal 1 gates 11-18.. wish there was a way to connect to other half of terminal. 1 for better food options .

Never got my food, for what ever reason they didnt make my wrap. Out of soda and the gentleman/bartender was rude. Asked for my check and they contacted remove the club from it...so now I am stuck here and not getting to eat. Update, the manager came, cleared the wrap, did not come talk to me or anything. This place has horrible service.

The male bartender-heavier Caucasian guy is rude. Wanted to have a seat and check out the menu but was ordering to-go. Literally took the menu from my hands to put back on his perfectly aligned tabletop display. My being there was not stopping another customer from coming to the empty bar. Then he proceeds to stop the cashier mid ringing up my order to tell her it would be nice if she could restock the fridge as it’ll be easier for bar staff etc etc. bad energy coming here. I’ll pass….

The clubhouse was cheap sandwich meat and just sloppily thrown together. There was one thin tomato, the lettuce old and the spread was dropped in the centre. Just cheap and gross. My daughter had the nachos and it looked like a pile of diarrhea. There was this weird sauce that drenched the nachos, so they were soggy. Disgusting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Super sketchy place. Be careful, they have a rule that if you don’t check out within 10min they apply 20% of tips to the check. Additionally waiters don’t know how to handle QR code orders with regular orders. It gets mixed and we ended up doublecharged. Won’t go there anymore.
