New to SF and waiting to check into new digs. I needed food, tea and WiFi. This place fit the bill. Food was fresh and satisfying with something for every palate. Tea was delicious and good quality. WiFi didn't disappoint. Comfy and simply wonderful! Thank you Cafe Seventy8, you've gained a new loyal customer.

Sandwiches are made in acme bread and they are delicious. I love the plants and want to be best friends with the owner. The Jasmine outside the door mixed with toasted acme bread makes this place smell like heaven. Somehow it's also very cheap for San Francisco.

Sandwich was delicious and the service was great! Seating is limited but is overall low-key and quiet away from the heavy foot traffic of Mission st. I will return to try more sandwiches and bagels out.

I finally made my way to Cafe Seventy8. As expected from word of mouth, I enjoyed a late morning coffee and bagel. For me, one review factor are the staff. And the staff during my visit were very inviting and helpful. My regular house coffee tasted fresh and I would say medium bodied. My bagel was just as good and handled with clean and safe hands. I enjoyed the ambience because other patrons created a cool hipster vibe. My most enjoyable moment at Cafe Seventy8 occurred as I was sitting next to a cute Beagle 🐶.

I just happened to stop by after dropping off a package and I am so glad I did. I got the English Muffin with bacon after a recommendation from the staff and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had! I was too excited to take a picture before my first bite… I also got their coffee cake and an americano which were equally as delicious.

Friendly staff. Nice place to duck in from the rain. Good drip coffee. Great lox sandwich. Would come back again when I’m in the area.

Delicious sandwiches with novel combinations. Always a good place to grab an affordable bite and enjoy the nice weather outside. Wish they would open for dinner too.

Top tier sandwiches, open during breakfast hours. But don't get their orange juice. It's generally unfresh and bitter.

LOVE this cafe. Great coffee, amazing sandwiches, lovely people. I visit my sister in the neighborhood twice a year and I get a Vegetable Heaven sandwich pretty much daily. It’s the standard against which I measure sandwiches. My family are huge fans as well.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. As someone who historically hasn't gotten excited by sandwiches, Cafe Seventy8 changed that for me. I order their Spicy Soppressata probably 80% of the time, but their chicken sandwiches are also perfection. The sandwiches are hearty and filling. Pro-tip: get their English muffin breakfast sandwich - it is amazing - so fluffy and perfect. The cafe is a beautiful hangout spot and the owners are lovely people.

This is a great cafe with good food. I can't speak to the coffee since I'm not a coffee drinker, but the sandwiches are good. They don't have a huge menu, but there is a decent selection of things. They have WIFI which is great. I see a lot of people working in there so I think it's a popular spot to park with your laptop. It's a good size but not big. A nice place to meet a few people. The staff is great and very friendly.

If you’re a coffee person this place isn’t for you. Some of the most consistently bad coffee burnt bitter coffee I’ve ever had. That said all the people are very nice and the neighborhood vibe plus misc they play is always good.
