Columbus Cafe San Francisco Reviews
Classic dive bar vibe with SF cheap prices and the pool table works (mostly, but the staff are happy to fix it!) - also pet friendly!
Solid bar with a jukebox and pool table. It was pretty quiet during the day when we visited. We found the staff really friendly.
Great local bar w some tourists. Solid beer selection. Patio out front. Pool tables. Not busy many nights.
We drunk locals beers 🍻 and it was very good, nice atmosphere, typic bar American ! I recommended this place !
CC's is a great low-key dive in which one might partake in a tasty bevo. They used to give out chips good for a free beer during happy hour (essentially a bogo), but they discontinued that as of May 1, 2018. Not sure what the new happy hour deal is, but I'm sure I'll find out.
Good drinks, friendly and authentic service, fair prices

This is a San Francisco classic in the heart of historic North Beach. It's a locally-owned dive that is lively and colorful, with great drinks and seasoned experts behind the bars. If you're lucky you can catch some legendary DJ parties downstairs.
I should give this establishment one star because the co-owner Will grossly inconvenienced me by saying he had a free solid wood king size bed frame which I picked up gratefully and it turns out it's a queen-sized bed frame so now I'm stuck with the wrong size bed frame I need to get rid of. Thanks for not even measuring your shit, Will 😡
I love my Michael brown. They have the sweetest staff. Michael know how to pick them. A'ho Miss Chief 🌹🐻🌹🐻 🌹

This place is a gem with friendly folks and retains the old neighborhood feel of its history. Many of the poor reviews were under the previous owners. The Columbus Cafe is back to its glorious self.
Columbus Cafe is a great find if you're looking for a chill, uncrowded bar to relax in. It has a classic, laid-back neighborhood feel that's very welcoming. When we visited, they had a bingo game going on, which added a really fun and energetic layer to the evening. One very important heads-up, though: the host's commentary was definitely for an 18+ crowd. We had a great time with it, but this is probably not the place to bring your kids for a casual drink. This spot seems aimed at a chill crowd that appreciates some unfiltered humor. If that's you, you'll have a lot of fun here.

Me and my wife had a great time here on Wednesday afternoon with the male bartender, every other server we encountered after that was worst then the last. The mid 30's female bartender asked us for our ID 4 times and tried to fight us when we pointed that out. Weird people.
Used to be better 10 years ago. Still chill but make sure you close your tab or they'll add 80 dollar tip to a 2 beer tab. Can't say I want to go back even though I've won the bucket twice back in the day.

Way too loud. They have huge speakers set up all around the bar. They play music extremely loud. Normal conversation is impossible. So loud it's really just obnoxious. Tipped the bartender $5 for one drink and she gave me a smirk look of disapproval. Entirely too loud and unfriendly service. I strongly do not recommend this business

I stopped into Columbus Cafe last night with my boyfriend for two shots of Fernet, and the experience was honestly shocking. The bartender poured barely an ounce each. As someone who works in the industry myself, I politely asked if she could pour the correct amount. She re measured and realized she hadn't poured a full shot, so she topped it off. What happened next was completely unprofessional. She threw the check and the pen at me and even made a snide verbal remark. My boyfriend and I were stunned. There was absolutely no reason for that kind of attitude especially when the mistake wasn't mine to begin with. Really disappointing service, and definitely not the kind of energy you expect from a bar in North Beach. It was an Asian American woman. I hope the establishment will do something about this. She's the worst bartender I've ever encountered my entire life.
Bartender was extremely rude. She asked for our ID’s in the most hostile way when we arrived. Most of us are 35+. She yelled at us for having an asian tea without even asking nicely that we throw it away. Honestly a terribly experience. We would have happily thrown away the tea if we knew it was an issue. We left after that, but it was just a really terrible experience.
The first night we went the man bartender was great and super helpful and fun and the second night the woman bartender was too drunk to realize she asked us 3 times for our IDs and when we mentioned she was drunk the bouncer chased us out after we called the bartender out for being wasted. Keep the guy who works Wednesday nights but fire the woman who bartends Thursdays.
Just don’t go here. Rude staff. Got here on Tuesday night and for no good reason not a single person was nice and willing to welcome us for whatever reason. 10/29 is when we visited. Owner of the bar - pls reassess your staff.
Bartender was rude and condescending to my group the entire night. He often carried on long conversations with others while I was waiting to order, and served some people consistently while others were left waiting. Would not recommend this bar to anyone, and definitely will not return here.
This place is garbage, i bought an old fashioned which has bourbon whiskey in it, and they served me Kahlua in it, i told the bar tender and they acted like I didn't know what i was talking about. They lie and cheat on you, this place is ready to do ths to you and then act aggressive about it like you are trying to cheat them
Sat for about 10 minutes during a slow time. Bartender couldn’t be bothered to look up from his conversation at the other end of the bar to serve me. He saw me walk in, so I think they just cater to the locals. I decided to leave and go to a bar a couple of doors down and was immediately helped. Recommend you skip this place
