Fly Bar & Restaurant San Francisco Reviews
A laid back, easy going neighborhood bar. This isn't the place to go to be seen or act flashy. But if you want to have a relaxing talk with friends over a pint, this is the place. Its beer, wine and a handful of soju cocktails here (no hard alcohol). There's always a great selection of beers on tap to choose from and, as one would expect from SF, the wine list has solid options. Folks also seem to love the sangria. There are several foods to choose from, but the pizzas are the real winner. Small enough for one person to enjoy and always delicious and simple. But honestly, you're coming here for the atmosphere and vibe, which is dim and not fussy. Put on your hoodie, grab a seat at the bar and watch the world go by outside the windows or chat with the person next to you. Fly Bar has been on this corner ... well, I moved to SF in 2004 and it was already established then. This is the place my friends and I always meet up at to catch up. It's homey. It's got a easy fire to it (not artificial feeling injected by design and loud music). This is a place you can still glimpse a little of the old San Francisco heart that is so rapidly changing these days. Try this place. I bet it'll become a favorite.
Great neighborhood bar with a super friendly owner and employees, great drinks, and tasty food (pizza, wings, salads and sandwiches). Popular local hangout, everyone was friendly and seems to know each other.
Very relaxed Atmosphere. Great bar tender/server. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very relaxed Atmosphere. Great bar tender/server. Wish we could have stayed longer!
It is a cute bar. Came here with a friend and the service was great. It could get loud but if that is your setting, just know what you are getting into. There was a crowd and a very lively vibe. The drinks are decent with the price. A nice place to hang for a night out.
I stumbled in here because it was close to my hotel. I ended up returning twice in my few days in SF, and I always had a good time. Staff is lovely, the clientele is friendly, and the pizza is surprisingly good for how affordable it is. Highly recommend.
Stopped by here for a quick drink at random. This place is really relaxed and straightforward. We felt immediately at home and welcome even though we’re strangers to this city. Would definitely return. It’s a bar for people who want to sit and chat and hang out. If you like a mixed crowd this place could be for you.
Bartender was really kind, and food was yummy! Usually bar food can be kinda meh, but the sandwich and quesadilla we got were satisfying. Fun environment too! Went for trivia and there was a good balance between "accessible" questions (easy enough for a beginner like me, but still had to think about it) and really good brain thinky questions. Whoever hosted trivia was also absolutely hilarious. We had a great time! They also ran a fundraiser which made it feel like a community in a place I'd never even been to before. Gorgeous art and a pool table as well :)
Had to find a place to kill time. Excellent drink and great service.
Popped in here a couple times by chance. It's not in my neighborhood, so, I can't make it over on the regular. There are too few bars in the city with their own food kitchen inside, and that is one thing I miss about living in the Pacific Northwest. It's always nice to find a bar in town with a hot food menu. My first time here it was a pub trivia night. Otherwise, chill, friendly, good feng shui.
Divey, yet clean and inviting on the corner of Divisadero and Fulton. Happy hour deals, good vibes. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Will be back!
It is a nice place to stop in, meet with friends, and have a few. Has a pool table. Very nice bartenders and decent food the few times I've had it. I'll be back.
Pizza!! Wow! Who would have thought that a bar would have such good pizza!! I really like the atmosphere here as well, as it's unpretentious and simple. They also have a sunken bar and lots of room for big parties. They also have a great happy hour that doesn't get too crowded on most days. The crown is equally cool and down to earth, and it's easy to strike up a conversation with other patrons.

Pizzas are tasty, large, and reasonably priced. Kitchen is open late. Great selection of draft beer. Highly recommended!

Visited for happy hour. Great bar vibe and friendly staff. The food was extremely mid but the nice bartenders made up for it. Tried the nachos and margherita pizza.
Casual with a bit of trendiness. Good variety of selection. Happy hour drinks are a good deal. Friendly service.

Read the sign outside about local brews and the atmosphere seemed chill so decided to try it out. Sat at the bar, had a amber and IPA. Great service. Not too loud nice music. Great local artwork displayed for sale which is always a plus for me.
We found this lil gem while waiting for the arcade “The Emporium” to open for the day & I must say I was impressed! .. The “La Tortilla salad “ was great , the chicken skewers w/peanut sauce was good & the Tuna patty melt was delicious!.. I rarely go to places to eat without at least 1 complaint!.. well I did have one but it was only the fact that they didn’t have plastic utensils!!!..Overall good experience!
Cozy dog friendly outdoor patio with kind, pleasant and efficient wait staff. Great for Irish whiskey afficianados too.
The pizza was very delicious. Didn't get to try the drinks but they had a good selection. The reason I'm docking a star is because you have to order your food with the bartenders..which is dumb and hence why it took so long for my friend and I to order pizza. Why wouldn't I order with someone else? or thru some other means since there were only two bartenders and they were both busy making drinks. And then when they handed us our pizza, we asked for water and the girl completely forgot so my friend had to wait another while to just get that. But...the pizza was indeed delicious.

The bar itself is kind of cool but we ordered the first drink on the menu, the spicy margarita. It was quite impressive how bad it was. Tasted like pure acid, nearly undrinkable.
Nice location. Appreciate their holding space for game nights. Wings were not very good even at 1/2 off. Don't go out much so still having a hard time wrapping my head around dropping $18 for 2 beers...
