Super cool place, very nice people too!

Fun place to watch a game (it's known for soccer but any big game is fun). Crowd can be hit or miss (read: sometimes douchey) but the bartenders are always friendly and fair. I've seen a bartender diffuse some heated situations with grace and kindness while still being firm.

Best bar in the Haight! Great crowd for Seahawks games. The best trivia host on Wednesday nights. Awesome bartenders! If you lose your glasses, Dan will find them.

Danny Coyle’s is a great place to grab a drink and catch a soccer match, particularly if you’re a Tottenham fan… yup, even at 6AM. Be grateful for Irish coffee.

Great place to stop for a beer or catch a game. Danny Coyle's is a true Irish pub. Half the reason I visit is because they have Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale and that's always a plus. Haven't been since 2013 but can't wait to go back.

Little Hawk's Nest, came into town for the Seahawks game and watched at Danny's, what an amazing place to be! 99.9 percent of patrons were Seahawks fans and such a great environment. Locals had fun with the visitors and the staff was even friendlier. Highly recommended :)

I was looking for a place to pop in and watch the 49ers game. It's a great little pub to watch a game even though I was outnumbered by Seahawks fans...ha! I'd definitely come back here though.

Just came for drinks. I recommend the Irish Mule. Very tasty. Right now seating is all outside and to get a table you have to order an entre. We were provided with stools since we were not eating. Worked well

Brian behind the bar did everything to make us welcome. We just came in as tourists to watch the Ireland Georgia game. Great seats good beer, friendly chat at the bar too with one of the other regular customers. They don't do food - not a problem, we were able to bring in food from the deli on the corner. I will call in again if I am back in San Francisco. Real people serving real beer in a friendly bar.

Went here twice the same day - had the wrong start time for a NY Giants game. It kept getting better each time. Bartender has his own theme song the first time, an Irish banjo player broke out in song the second. This is a real gem!

Great neighborhood sports bar. Can get crowded on weekends during college/NFL football games. Friendly staff, great location for watching any/all sporting events. No food is served in the bar, but there are plenty of local options for take-out.

No food, but the bartender was very accommodating to everyone with the tv’s, sound linked to the games, considering there were 3-4 games playing at once. He was nice and this is a great pub to watch a premier league game. Def recommend.

Hung out here for the Super Bowl, and it was an awesome experience!! The owner was so friendly, and a total rockstar running around all day! It was the best atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back! GO HAWKS!

I’m pretty sure we stumbled into this place due to a wrong turn but it ended up being a great find! There were TVs in each direction with different football (soccer) games playing. We were just there for a drink before continuing our sightseeing but the bartender was happy to have a good chat. Overall it was a great atmosphere.

Amber is up there in the top 5 best female bartenders in SF. I've been going to the pub since, I was underage, shhh!!! I honestly never paid attention to the name of the pub, it might have changed names & owners a few x since I was 13. Lol... In any case, great service, class Irish pub atmosphere & in the heart of the Haight District. I've followed Amber throughout the years because, she's a class A bartender.

Definitely the place to go to watch European Football games (soccer). A great spot for any sport, really, because there were plenty of TVs. The place was packed at 7:30 am on a Saturday because there were so many foreign games on at the same time. The service was great and there are enough TVs so everyone has a great view of the game.

Compared to other bars in the block, this one makes me feel more welcomed. People enjoy themselves and are also respectful. The bartenders are nice, specially Evan! Ps. He makes the BEST Irish coffeeessss ♡

A well lit, smallish Irish bar is a nice neighborhood where they’ll quickly learn your name and favorite drink. It’s usually not too busy, which makes it a nice place to unwind with friends after a long Friday. But if you come during one of the popular game days, there could be a line well out of the door.

B
Ben Levine

An excellent place to watch early morning Premier League games. There are normally about 10-15 his there on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A good crew but not so big that it's overly loud.

S

I personally hate sports bars but I still respect a good one. DC’s is the sportsiest Irish pub on haight! From what I can tell, this is an ideal spot if you’re looking to get smashed and watch the big game!

Great bar on height street! Definitely coming back! Great beer selection, and a big crowd of people! The decorations are old signs , and beer bottles etc. All I can remember are the cold beers . Check this bar out I'd you are in the area!! A huge selection of beers just for you!

I was travelling and needed somewhere to catch the United game. Danny Coyles was a great little pub. It had about 5 or 6 TVs showing the United, Spurs and Rangers Europa league games (1pm kick off in San Francisco). Locals were probably 60/40 in favour of Spurs to United fans but it didn't make a difference. They don't serve food, but the barman said you're welcome to bring in food from other places (there's a great little Persian place next door).

It is what it is. A typical Irish bar that shows sport. Therefore you get what you went for. It gets pretty busy during a big game or event. The bathrooms need more attention especially considering they are unisex. Decent selection of drinks. Some of the screens are kinda poor and you can’t really hear a thing during a game. If you’re out with the lads lads lads it’s probably perfect. Maybe I’m getting old.

Arrived at 7 am on a Saturday when there was lots of European league soccer matches on. Despite saying they’d be open at 6, they were not open and I just wasted time and money getting a ride here from my Air BnB. DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR!!!!!

T
Tyler Wilson

Bartender 2/15/2024 was talking trash about costumers for their sexual identity and race minute after we tipped him 30% on drinks / not sure why he felt the need to be so hateful. Never go here.

M
Madeline Calton-Fulkerson

My father and I showed up at 330pm looking for a few good drinks and a cool bartender, but instead not one employee was insight-- an electrician had to get one from the back. When we asked if it was open he said "I guess so". I suggest walking right back out of the bar if the bartender is an old, gray haired, frail man

D
Darin Ngu

No disrespect to the the door guy seems like he has a miserable life. Was there for the fight and was respectful when he said it was full and was waiting for people to leave. After a few parties left, still made myself and another girl wait in the rain when it had way more room to occupy us. He also went out of his way to cover the screens from the door instead of having the respect of people waiting outside in the rain to see the fight. Seems like a nice spot. Door man needs to be retrained. Power trip or just having a bad day I think I have nothing against him personally but having people wait outside when there was lots of room for another party of 8+. When there are people waiting outside that was already inside and need to reconnect with their friends accommodate them. Good luck to you and your business.
