Thee Parkside San Francisco Reviews
Seriously going to miss this place a lot. The punk shows at night were always fun and energetic. During the day, it was an excellent spot for all sorts of groups to meet up ranging from baseball teams to Polaroid camera nerds. This combination of seamlessly encouraging such different kinds of passionate people reflected the culture of SF pretty accurately. They held onto an independent spirit without settling on specific theme. RIP Maria. This is what gentrification looks like in action.
Great bar. Great food qzimg people. So sad it's being shut down, torn down and turned into condos. This place. Doesn't deserve to be gentrified. It's only gonna be open for a few more weeks so go see a piece. Of SF history before it's scrubbed off the earth forever. Cash only establishment. ATM available.
One of the great dive bars in the city that is secretly a cocktail gem. When they have the slushy machine running it’s extra amazing. It’s incredibly unfortunate that developers are destroying a sacred 3rd space for so many. Shame on them to build condos you can’t afford
I went there to get a hamburger I never been to a show there. The people that serve my hamburger. Professional and hamburger was good
Great service and pleasantly surprised by the drunk pollo sandwich. Overall good vibes for a smaller social outing.
Awesome little neighborhood bar and really friendly staff! They are cash only but have a wide selection of drinks including non alcoholic options. The fries and tots are great and I recommend sitting out on the big patio. They also have a coffee bar during the day and they serve up some tasty espresso (and the coffee bar takes credit cards/mobile pay)
Awesome corner space near Jackson park. They have indoor and outdoor seating - really nice patio out back. The food is really yummy and very well portioned too. Cash only. Highly recommend this place. Drinks are good too and vibes are even better. Staff are all really friendly here of course.
My favorite dive bar. Enjoy this place so much, I had my retirement party there with about 80 guests. Management met all my requests, drink tickets, arm bands, my favorite music, wrangling 3 bands that night. Food is very good. They use quality meat. Try the carne asada tater tots. Appetizer platters were good too. The fruit on the fruit and cheese platters was sweet, not like some places that serve unripened fruit. Bartenders are pleasant and good mixers. Great party hosts.
There are so many great places in San Francisco and this is definitely one of them. Come as you are. Everyone who comes here is cool in their own way and I just love the overall vibe. Made a pit stop here after the big wheel race and there was an indie guitar singer doing her thing. A bit cramped but gotta appreciate that ambiance every now and then. Grungy bathroom, open patio area with sounds, loudness and again cool kids. Yummy snacks but the line can get hectic. Don't be rude, tip your bartenders and come here and just be.
came on a sunday afternoon to do a little work and hang out. a great neighborhood gem that’s cash only. friendly bartenders, tasty beers and delicious food for an amazing price!! the patio in the back is a great spot to chill and catch up with friends. would highly recommend! burger with tater tots was only $13 total! a solid burger with tasty tots (although a little over fried) but def worth it
Had lunch here one day and even though I liked it, it was way too greasy I had to take some tea afterwards. Thanks to the staff for being so kind though. I might only come back if i don't have another option lol. I can't really say much about the drinks/bar portion, but I always see a large crowd right outside so it's very popular.
