Esposto's San Francisco Reviews
Top shelf service and exceptional service. Esposto's is my go to place when in the area. I've ordered several items over several visits - each time a perfectly crafted sandwich - fresh and very filling. Highly recommend.
Was looking for a good sandwich nearby and thought I’d give this place a chance. Great turkey sandwich! Just what I was looking for
Yummy sandwich. Watched Portugal score here. Nice vibes. Peaceful

Excellent food! French dip was amazing, as well as the grilled cheese! Caesar salad was fresh and crisp with great dressing! Will be back!
Great spot! Friendly and kind staff. I went in here before they were even open, and they still helped me out by giving me a cup of water
Espostos I love you but I ordered online with your preferred vendor and the sandwich usually comes on Dutch crunch and I didn’t submit any modifications and the sandwich was on a baguette when I picked it up and it was DEVASTATING to not get Dutch crunch but I was willing to suffer through it but then this stupid roll is SO TOUGH AND CHEWY I’m upset espostos please don’t hurt me like this again Edit: espostos left me a voicemail apologizing and offering to make it up to me, I still love you espostos and thank you for your kindness and service
Great salads, however the primary reason for the 5 star review is the staff - always the best customer experience here! Quick to rectify any mistakes made on ordering. Raul was very helpful and accommodating!
Ate here for the first time while I was waiting for a nearby appt. I had a beef dip and it was probably one of the best beef dip sandwiches I ever had. All the goodies on the sandwich blended very nicely. There was more to the average beef dip sandwich which usually just has meat and cheese. The grilled onions were sauteed perfect. They put some kind of white sauce on it which I didn't think it would combine well with the au jus, but I was wrong. Very tasty! The prices were very reasonable for SF. Sandwich and coke was under $18. Next time I'm in the area I'll for sure return.
This is a fantastic Deli. Clean, good fast service even though it's crowded a lot of time. So if you can, I would call in an order. The meats there are fresh the breaded very good, definitely the Dutch crunch and the Reuben. They have a variety of specialty sandwiches, all good, but if you're there looking for something good try. Hands down. A 12 on the scale of 10. The shrimp salad sandwich with provolone/American on a Dutch crunch, you won't be sorry, fantastic. Only bad thing I can say about the deli is there is very limited to almost no parking unless you park in the middle of Owen Street in the double double line area which is legal
Opens at 9 o'clock sharp every day. They always take care of us coming in for lunch right at opening. All of the nearby construction crews hit lunch at this time so they have a swarm of us coming in. They are pretty quick about preparing the food they serve. They serve great sandwiches and at a moderately reasonable price considering they are the only shop in walking distance really. The chicken parmesan is sandwich is pretty good here. The items that do need to be cooked in the kitchen you will need an additional 5-10 minutes for wait time though. The seating area hasn't been crowded too badly the times I have gone there either.
First of all the customer service is excellent everyone is very friendly there is not a long wait in line to order and your food comes out quick everything on the menus is delicious 😋 I come all the way from Antioch to get my sandwich when I am in the San Francisco

Excellent sandwiches, great place to get really tasty food, to take an eat at one of the parks/green spaces in the Mission Bay area or you can eat it there.

Just beware that apparently they close their kitchen two hours early, which means none of their hot items are available after 2pm. Disappointing second experience after a very good first one.

Chicken Marsala pasta are flooded, like a soup. Spaghetti meatballs is tasteless/poorly seasonned. Pasta cooking is not on point. Also got a steak salad with brown salad pieces and the steak was full of unchewable fat. Their sandwich/soup was okay. I really tried because near my job, but desappointed every time. The guy there is nice he changed chicken marsala to spaghetti meatball for free, so nothing personnal, should just get new cook.
As much as I wanted to like this Italian deli, I just can't get behind their sandwiches. There aren't a lot of options is this part of town, but I feel like you can do better. At the least, go for one of the hot dishes or a soup instead.

I always like to go to Espostos on Owen's st, cause I like the Tomato soup but I guess they change the cook and the soup has a funny taste to it. Sorry but I'm not going back for the tomato soup again
I loved the food but I felt bad for the works well the female workers they looked uncomfortable around this guy who was skinny and short and he kept touching this girls hair it was curly and she just walked away she was the cashier she was super sweet and I don’t think she deserves that because I stayed for awhile to make sure she was okay and she works really hard and he just kept being way to close to her
Terrible service, false advertising and customer let-down and disrespect. I live and work in the area. Today at 11:30 I was on the way to my gym class and decided to check out a new breakfast / brunch option in the area. This place always stood out aesthetically as a slightly higher scale option than most of the kiosk/corner deli type joints nearby. I went in and looked around at the menu and saw one that said "Now serving breakfast". When I asked the male employee, what was still available, he first told me they have no breakfast. Puzzled, I asked him if he knew about the menu standing in front of me, which had no hours on it and advertised clearly the "now serving". The male employee rudely laughed in my face that "no one eats breakfast at this hour," and that it's "obviously meant to work only until 11" (yet it was still out prominently). At that point it was clear, this employee is totally clueless about customer needs, and the manner in which he approached a pretty normal request was absolutely disrespectful. When I told him that they should probably put away a menu that is not offered (it was in a plastic stand), and that it's not a way to handle customer inquiries, he said, "it's ok, goodbye." Our community deserves better than this. Please blacklist this business until they address their false advertising and customer service issues!
Good to great food, but man are the people working here not very happy to be there. Surly, no thank you, no eye contact - not all of them, but it’s pretty consistent.
Bought a chicken oriental salad and the noodles were soggy!!!! For the price I paid, which is not cheap it's EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING😡!!!! I only took a few bites and threw it away-what a waste of money and sadly waste of food 😞 Safeway has a BETTER TASTING & much CHEAPER oriental salad than that!
