Excellent food with fast service. Granted we were the only party since we arrived before they closed. There was a kiosk to order but you can also use the QR code. Pho broth was ok, Bun Bo Hue broth could've been better. Portions were huge though. The dumplings and spring rolls were surprisingly delicious.

Wha Da Pho?? Super delicious steak sandwich! Tender and juicy meat, soft bread, and sweet dressing! I really enjoyed it, great service, clean, and nothing beats the prices! Thank you!

I had a great experience today. I ordered fried rice and it took longer than expected; I had time so I wasn’t worried. They brought me some fried chicken free of charge to make up for the wait (that I wasn’t even complaining about). Great service and a very welcome touch from management

Great tasting food! It's a cozy little place that serves Vietnamese comfort food.. I had the beef pho with beef broth as well as their sandwich which was very delicious. The service was was fast and were very friendly! Shabir was great in suggesting the dumplings and the spring rolls that I later order. I tried other pho restaurants and this is by far the best one I have been to. I recommend eating here. They will not disappoint

I stopped by for lunch and had the beef pho and pork banh mi. The flavors are on par with some of the best Vietnamese spots in the city, but at a more affordable price. The interior is clean and inviting, and the service was quick. If you're in the area (Mission) and craving authentic Vietnamese food, look no further—this is the spot!

Nothing like I would expect from a pho restaurant. I think I like this better.

Ordered a beef pho during lunch. The quality is amazing and there are 3 types of beef (brisket, beef balls and flank). The portion is big but the price is super affordable. I work around the corner and I can’t believe I didn’t discover this little gem earlier. Definitely will come back and try other dishes.

We really enjoyed and recommend the rib eye pho. The grilled tofu spring rolls were also good. The service was also very good. Great addition to the neighborhood and will definitely return!

Frozen dumplings and dried noodles prepared well, but served without the right sauces. The banh mi and iced coffee was very good, though. There were a lot of different stereotypes in the decor, but it was a pleasant space overall. Most concerningly, we heard productive coughing and unmasked sniffling coming from the kitchen.

Food: Southern-ish style pho. It's good food if you're looking for some casual eats, but it doesn't taste like pho! However, the Chinese food is GOOD. 3 stars for Pho, 5 stars for Chinese food. Service: Caters to introverts. You order from a QR code. Atmosphere: It's clean, but it's giving 2010's chipotle. Feels dead and sterile.

We got there right before the rush, which was good because the food came out slowly after that. Overall, a nice place to eat a hot bowl of pho, especially before a show. I had the basic beef pho, which included beef balls, flank, and some other beef. The broth was a bit bland for me. My hubby and son ate the spicy beef pho and they both liked it. Large portions. Spring rolls were fresh, as was the egg rolls. The fish sauce for the eggrolls was a bit bland, but the peanut sauce for the spring rolls were yummy.

This is the worst pho I’ve had in San Francisco. The food was bland, and the veggies were visibly wilted, as if they weren’t fresh. The Thai tea was watery with very little flavor—definitely disappointing. The staff didn’t make much of an effort to be welcoming. While they weren’t outright rude, they seemed a bit disinterested, and the service felt rushed and impersonal. It would have been nice to feel more warmth or engagement, especially in a dining experience that already left a lot to be desired.

The pho here is phenomenal — easily some of the best in SF. Which is exactly why this review is so frustrating. The operations are a mess. Their Google hours are wrong, their own website hours are wrong, and delivery apps constantly show them as “open” when they’re fully closed. I’ve now had multiple orders accepted, waited 45–60 minutes, and then had them canceled because… surprise! They weren’t actually open. At that point, every other restaurant is closed too. It’s maddening. I’ve also gotten calls about out-of-stock items where the person on the phone didn’t speak English, so we literally couldn’t communicate. Not judging anyone for language, but when your hours are already unreliable, that extra layer of chaos does not help. This place has incredible food, but the basic operations are so unreliable it’s almost impossible to be a returning customer. People want to give you money — you’re making it needlessly hard. Please fix your hours and your order process. You’re going to lose loyal customers over issues that are 100% preventable.

Be careful that you’re not being ripped off by the server. I dropped into What Da Pho on a quiet Friday mid-afternoon for a pho (10/10/2025). I was the only customer. For this time of day the restaurant offers a discount; Half price. That’s a good deal. Except, when it came to paying for my discount pho. The discounted price appeared on the display and it was then changed by the server to the full price. I enquired why it changed to the full price and the sever told me the the discount price was a mistake. I had the sense forethought to take a screenshot of the discount offered at the time I placed my order and showed it to the server. The server, knowing that he’d been caught lying, glumly corrected the total without offering an apology. My guess is that that the server thought a tourist wouldn’t question his deception. To the server: think about the choices you make in life. Best of luck. For everybody else: Beware.

The menu that shows in Google maps is wrong. The prices are very different, it's misleading, and no wonder the place is empty. There is no way I will ever pay $26 for a bowl of pho, you're not even using organic ingredients or grass fed beef or free range chicken.
