The Table San Jose Reviews
Went to the Table with the Wifey and we both got the burgers. She got an ube milk drink and I git the homemade horchata. Our burgers and potatoes were cooked to perfection. Burgers and bun ratio was just right, not sure what type of bun is used but it's almost like a brioche and ciabatta but super soft. Atmosphere was super cozy and comfortable, we were seated outside at one of the tables on the end where we could watch all of the people walking by. It was a perfect and clear day to just sit back and enjoy the great company, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
This place was so busy but thankfully we were able to be seated at a bar. Very nice and helpful staff. Wish I took more photos but my food was so good I totally forgot. I had avocado crab toast and this amazing cereal milk cocktail. I think that’s the name, wasn’t able to find it on their menu online, either way it was great. I’m definitely going to reserve a table next time I go.
Yummm. A delicious brunch spot! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but I do recommend getting reservations because The Table can get busy! Parking is limited in the small lot next to the restaurant but if you continue driving on Willow St a little past the small lot, you can turn left into a much bigger lot! It is the shared parking lot with Aqui and BevMo. At The Table, I love the tartines. They are small but flavorful - limited to one order! I chose the sardine one and it was so flavorful. I also ordered the Smoked Salmon & Potato Rosti, which was really just a fancy hash brown. I loved the cook on the poached eggs and the crisp on the potatoes. The salmon was fresh and delicious with the creme fraiche. However, the dish was too heavy for me (my plate had a small pool of oil from the potatoes). Next time, I'll probably opt for something else. My table said great things about the gnocchi and the bloody marys, so I will definitely try those next time!
I got the seafood pasta. Seafood tasted so fresh and it melted beautiful you like butter in my mouth. Something about their homemade butter and very fresh delicious tasting olive oil to pair with their delicious bread. I dipped my seafood items in the olive oil as well. So tasty I've definitely learned to appreciate restaurants that have a smaller menu. Cute for date night
Update: Went 4 Brunch; it's even better! Their menu is huge and fresh! Our waiter Tyler was phenomenal. Try the Spring Polenta, horchata, and scotch egg for sure. The Monte Cristo was also good! Enjoy! Hadn't eaten at The Table for a while, since before COVID, but when I saw they were now doing patio dining and had stellar menu (updated for this Covid season) I hoped it'd be the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate my 32nd birthday. Midway through the meal, she, a fellow foodie, declared that I had chosen well. It really was a perfect meal. Now, understand that this is "slow food" not "fast food" and mean to be savored, sipped, and shared. We spent about two hours at the restaurant but we almost always had something to enjoy while waiting for our next of three courses. We took our time and we're glad we did. Let me tell you all about our incredible experience: We arrived at our reservation time, wearing our masks as required, and only had to wait about five minutes or so as they prepared a table for us. The host, possibly also the manager, was busy but when it came time to seat us we had his full attention and he was super friendly. He checked in several times, including once when I was taking a picture for my review and he held up his cell phone light to help with lighting since it was dimly lit where we were. Loved his awareness and sense of humor. Our server, Jacob, was a professional, witty, and kind. He affirmed and encouraged our choices as we went, which for someone as indecisive as I am is super helpful and reassuring. We started with the Roasted Bone Marrow. This friendly set the bar high for the rest of the meal. It was buttery and smooth, had a playful kick to it, was complemented perfectly by the capers and peppers it was prepared with, and accompanied by plenty of crisp bread to eat it with. We will be getting this again, not every time so it doesn't get old, but we definitely recommend it. Word of advice: order either the Acme bread or the Roasted Bone Marrow, they are similarly both a fat on bread and there's plenty of both in either. When I told Jacob, our wonderful server, that I was leaning towards the pork shoulder, he was so supportive, "an excellent choice," he said, and indeed it was. So beautifully plated within banana leaves, tender and flavorful, the spices and citrus braising was subtle and perfect, the onions and tortillas weren't just sides but also stars in and of themselves. Highly recommend it. Bonus: it was the cheapest entree on the menu. Remember, The Table is known for a rotational menu so get this while it's still here. My wife couldn't put her burger down, the only burger that belongs at the table, mainly because it was a little messy. She loved it though from the bread, it was so light and fluffy yet stiff enough to be a bun, to the tender, juicy, and tasty burger in the center. Definitely be prepared to eat the whole thing because it would not save well, the juices would make it too soggy. As it was served, it was wonderful, she let me have a bite so I could be honest in recommending it. This one has always been on the menu and I expect it'll be sticking around. The dessert we HAD to have though was their Sugar Dusted Ricotta Beignets with lemon curd. These were perfectly warm, the sugar wasn't powdery and messy but tiny, crunchy crystals, and they were balanced with crisp exterior and soft, fluffy interior. The lemon curd was also amazing and made a great pairing with the beignets. We tempted to order another batch, but we were so full already. With dessert, I had a Mi Abuelita cocktail, which was even better than the description sounded. A mix of tequila and mezcal, corn liquor, amaro, and chocolate. Incredibly nuanced, smoky with a hint of the chocolate, and sweet while also smooth. What a wonderful way to celebrate! Can't wait to have another excuse to come to The Table. I wish Chef/Owner Jim Stump the best and pray Covid isn't being too hard on his establishment so they can survive it. If they keep this same impressive routine up, they should be just fine.
I went here for brunch around 11am on Monday and got seated right away. The hostess and servers were welcoming and attentive. I got the Chiquiles Rojos for Brunch and I couldn’t be any happier. The dish had a runny egg, which pairs perfectly with the avocado, braised pork, and cheese. Everything was seasoned to my liking.
My girl took me here for my birthday. It was a pleasant suprise and an awesome twist on American cuisine. So rich and utterly delicious food. Our server was just as awesome and attentive. We reserved a table, when we got there on a Saturday, and was pretty busy. So I suggest making reservations.
We went here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The service was outstanding. The lady who took care of us was very friendly. She constantly checked if we were okay . Boyfriend said the burger was delicious. We ordered the bone marrow because a lot of reviews were raving about it. For a bone marrow novice, I DONT get it. Overall great experience. For birthday occasions, they offer a complimentary dessert so that’s a plus.
Always spectacular! One of my favorite places to eat. During our latest visit, my wife and I arrived on a Saturday night for dinner at 5:30 without a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was excellent. Quick, friendly and knowledgeable. For appetizers we ordered the beet salad special and the aguachile. They were both delicious. The beets were prepared perfectly and were so sweet. They were served with delicious soft goat/sheep cheese, chicharrones, (I think) pickled white onions and herbs. The aguachile was served with what looked like thinly sliced ahi tuna on a bed of mandoline cucumbers with green apple and chili oil. Very good. I ordered the pork chop and my wife ordered the scallops. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and was served with a dark coffee and cascabel chile sauce. The bitter chile was very prominent and delicious. If I had anything to add, I could have used just a touch of a sweet component for more balance like agave nectar or honey in the sauce. I substituted the succotash with the marbled potatoes from the lamb dish. The potatoes were perfect. The scallops were also cooked perfectly which is a skill in an accomplishment in a paced commercial kitchen. They were served with ravioli stuffed with corn and squash with a mild corn butter sauce and topped with whole corn kernels, cheese and chives. It was a little odd to have whole corn kernels in the ravioli filling but the ravioli was delicious so it worked. The scallops were delicious and clearly the star of the plate. The cocktails and service were excellent. The Table's whiskey menu is as, if not more, extensive than most restaurants' wine lists. They had Weller WLW and EC Barrel Proof on the menu which was so exciting to find but unfortunately I caught them on a bad day and they were out. I paired a smoky Islay Ardmore 10 (awesome) with my pork chop and a Stagg Jr with my dessert. Drink prices were super reasonable. And of course, we had to finish with the pot de creme and always spectacular beignets with lemon curd. For fun, we also ordered the special, a peach apricot crumble which was delicious. It was a great dinner, we visit often and I don't post every dinner but this place never disappoints.
Every single item that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly. The cod was super tender and was cooked to perfection with miso broth. This place is my new favorite.
Wow! Outstanding experience at The Table from the moment we sat down until we strolled out with full bellies. Superb customer service and vibrant atmosphere! Food was delicious and presentation classy. Lots to choose from on the evolving menu. Cheese board, sword fish, fried chicken, arugala salad, beet salad were all spectacular. Call in advance to reserve as the place books up quick which is not surprising.
This is a really cute place. I got the bottomless mimosa and genuinely didn't see the bottom. I love bone marrow, so the roasted bone marrow dish was a delight. It was all I hoped for. It was expensive and not very filling, but worth it - I recommend getting it with something else. I topped it up with some beignets (AMAZING lemon curd) and the scotch egg. The sauce with scotch egg was amazing. Just the right amount of tang. My gf got the eggs Benedict, which was good too. Last thing I'll mention is the strawberry cheese crostini - their cheese is from cowgirl creamery (I would recommend going to the actual store too in Point Reyes) and the strawberries were fresh. Would not come here super often considering it is a bit expensive but I had a really great time - need to try the pastas the next time!
Amazing food and restaurant atmosphere! The outdoor seating is very spread out and spacey, the vibes were relaxed and enjoyable. I ordered the crab avocado toast which was DELICIOUS. The combination of ingredients were surprisingly good. The portion sizes are also massive. Our waiter was so lovely and friendly, despite it being a busy Saturday brunch.
First time here and we came with our puppy, so we did outdoor dining. I appreciated our server asking if we wanted the heat lamp, which was great to have near us. We came here to get a store picked bottle of liquor and try their food for the first time. We barely missed happy hour so we may have to come back for that. I ordered the Tagliatelle Pasta which was soo good. I highly recommend it!
Endless mimosa and delicious brunch menus. The Table is a must go. Granted the lines are long, but wake up earlier so you can start the festivities earlier. There is a parking garage nearby, but it does fill up (thus go early). They have a wide variety of drinks and food options so there definitely is something for everyone. We were lucky they still had their special monkey bread left so we nabbed one of the last ones! I’ve sat at the bar and sat on tables. Must say, if you have just 2-3 people, sitting at the bar next to the kitchen is not a bad option. You get seated faster and you get to watch the kitchen staff prepare all the food. The waitresses are all super nice. No matter how busy they are, they always spot an empty coffee mug or mimosa glass (they always fill it up to the brim). Overall, if you want a local place to go. This is it. Good food fun times await.
I went to this restaurant for a late Sunday brunch! The ambiance and service were excellent! But, unfortunately they ran out of some of the items we wanted to order like the impossible burger and pancakes. So we had to settle for omelette and scrambled eggs. Mimosas are yummy! They are only bottomless until 3pm, so get here early. Also we had to wait for about an hour before we got a table, so join the yelp waitlist early and then arrive at the restaurant accordingly so you won’t have to wait outside for long. Overall, it’s a really nice restaurant!
Great cocktails and happy hour. Highlights - while everything we tried was delicious the two items that deserve extra kudos is the ”Fried Chicken Sandwich” (only available for lunch and happy hour" and ”Whiskey Baker”. The Table was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area" and we wanted to check it out. They mentioned that they had a really good menu with great cocktails. This place met all of our expectations and more. We started off sipping on our "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" and "Spring Break" cocktails while waiting on our cheese and charcuterie plate. The cocktails and appetizers were delicious. Just as we were finishing up our appetizer we ordered a second round of cocktails. This time we ordered the ”Secret Garden” and ”Whiskey Baker”. They were both delicious. My wife admitted after tasting my ”Whiskey Baker” that she normally doesn't like whiskey, but if they had this at all restaurants she would get it every time. For dinner we split ”the only Burger that belongs on the Table” and the ”Fried Chicken Sandwich”. The burger was ok, but the sandwich was amazing.
4.5 stars: Very good breakfast! We went here for Mother’s Day and had some great food, coffee and drinks. The service was also great. 4.5/5 stars because the music was so loud it made conversation even harder due to the size of the venue and how busy it was but overall highly recommended for breakfast. Enjoy!
Had the best experience at The Table! To start, there was plenty of free street parking super close by. Which was nice for a Friday at brunch hour. Their ambiance, food, drinks and service was 5 stars all around! We ordered chilaquiles, the eggs Benedict, and the special which was eggs Benny with fried crab! Everything was delicious. 10/10! The Table is a cozy yet elevated brunch spot that I wish we could have back home (Albuquerque). Shout out to our awesome waiter Dennis who was attentive, efficient and all around amazing!
We had a great time here! Delicious food, such moist chicken and duck! Very pleasant attentive service. The price quality ratio is great! And we enjoyed the relaxed patio. The only downside, a drink we ordered, rusty nails, was just ok (probably cheap-ish scotch) so wouldn't recommend that but absolutely recommend for the food!
We had brunch here on a Wednesday and it wasn't very crowded. About a 10 min wait for an outdoor table in the dog friendly patio. They also had patio heaters which were great for a cold day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - they were struggling with seating us because all of the patio tables were reserved but were able to resolve it quickly. They were out of the smoked salmon and hot chocolate the day we went so we couldn't try those. The chilaquiles ended up being excellent - the sauce was flavorful but not spicy. The meat on the chilaquiles was really tender and had some fat on it. We also enjoyed the beignets as well. They came out very warm and fresh and was served with a lemon curd dipping sauce. One thing to be aware of - they have a very strange reservation policy. They essentially let you make them on a case by case basis - we called the morning of and they said they don't accept reservations but when we arrived two tables were reserved. Overall, I would highly recommend The Table for brunch and would return again.
The Table Restaurant at the corner of Lincoln avenue and Willow Street in San Jose, Ca. offers interesting and flavorful food at reasonable prices. The dishes have a fascinating texture that compliments the flavor profile. The owners do seem to be passionate about serving rich tasting food in a pleasant and sophisticated environment. If they had more wines to choose from, this place would be in top ten places for dining in San Jose.
We went to dinner there tonight and it was so good. I was so busy devouring my burger I forgot take pictures. It was the best juiciest grilled flavored, most delicious burger I’ve ever had. They started us out with some crispy amazing bread and some delicious Light whipped butter or cheese that was to die for. Mara was our server and I just can’t say enough about the amazing service that was given to us by Maura. It made our experience all that much more. Great service great food. We had the bignets for dessert with the lemon custard dip. Oh my! This place is a must try. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We sat in the patio. It was just a lovely experience all around from beginning to end. We will definitely be back and I definitely recommend this place. Very fresh. Very good food. A must try!
This restaurant delivers on taste and quality. Each dish is expertly prepared, with flavors that are well balanced. The serene and comfortable atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxing night out. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our meal at The Table for Valentine’s Day. Everything we ate was delicious and we can’t wait to go back. The only tip we would offer is the table seating felt kind of crammed. We were really close to the parties on the left and right side of us, and it would have been nice to have some privacy so we could have more intimate conversation. Other than that, Patty, our waitress was phenomenal - full of energy and very attentive to our needs! Thank you the Table! Will return soon 😁
Had our anniversary dinner at The Table and we’re still talking about it. Everything we ordered was a hit. The scallops were buttery and perfectly seared, and the lamb special was packed with flavor — tender, juicy, just done right. It’s rare that both entrees at a table are equally amazing, but they nailed it. And then dessert came out. Those beignets with lemon curd completely stole the show. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and that bright lemony kick? So good. We probably would’ve ordered a second round if we didn’t have to pace ourselves. The cocktail menu deserves a shoutout too — tons of great options and not a single boring choice. The whole experience felt celebratory but relaxed at the same time. We walked out saying, “Yep, we’ll definitely be back.” Already looking for an excuse to return.
This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the South Bay. We’ve been here three times so far, and not once have we left feeling disappointed. Every visit has been consistently excellent. The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavors are beautifully balanced — nothing feels overwhelming, just thoughtfully crafted and satisfying. You can truly taste the quality in every dish. We highly recommend trying their pastas and salads. Both are outstanding and never disappoint. What really makes this place special is the service. Every server we’ve encountered has been incredibly nice and welcoming. They genuinely take the time to recommend dishes and drinks that suit your preferences, and you can feel that they take pride in what they do. That level of warmth and professionalism makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
We went for Valentine's Day and the food was fantastic! Everything we ordered was super excellent and I'd love to know how they made it all. The portions sizes were filling and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress, Patty, was kind and very helpful at explaining the menu and offering suggestions! The only thing to be mindful of is that the seating is quite close to other parties making more intimate conversations a bit challenging. We will definitely be coming back again and look forward to exploring the menu more!
Loved this restaurant! Everyone was really nice, atmosphere was modern nice casual, and food was delicious! Favorites were the lemon ricotta pancakea and smoked salmon Benedict!! Pancakes were so fluffy but also hearty, amazing! We had no wait on a Saturday early afternoon around 11am which was great! Free parking lot across the street behind the Noahs bagels
Tasty food that exceeds expectations. Each dish is cooked to perfection. Great balance of flavors throughout the meal. The atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable. Ideal place for a quiet evening out. Definitely worth visiting again.

Celebrating an anniversary at the Table Restaurant, the scallops and lamb specialties were satisfying, and the lemon curd sweetbreads were particularly good. Cocktails were good, the pomegranate hibiscus was tart and the almond cream pudding was delicious. The beignets were not authentic, but the crêpes with lemon curd were still good. Overall a good experience and worth a return visit.
This place is flipping amazing and you need to come immediately! This little town is super cute! It’s called Willow Glen and is like 8 minutes from the San Jose airport and where we were spending our last night of a long weekend trip. The little down is adorable. The food, vibe, service were fabulous! We were promptly seated, were given water and an option for bread at the table or not. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed a great glass of Zinfandel while looking over the dinner menu. There is something for everyone on this menu. We opted for Half a roast chicken and the Cioppino. Both were excellent but the Cioppino was the Star! Excellent portion, fresh variety of seafood and the crunchy toasted baguette with garlic was heaven. We finished with a cappuccino and the flourless almond cake, with pineapple and gelato. I hope you go and enjoy this lovely place and great food.
The Table served nothing but amazing food! The employees are attentive and pleasure to talk to. The drink menu is unique, but I may have chose the wrong drink for myself. I highly recommend the duck liver mousse.. that was 9.9/10 in my book. The octopus was almost as delicious. It’s something easily share with 2 but we had 4 people. We ordered the lamb shank navarrin, duck gnocchi (each bite was very flavorful), and the braised pork collar (not dry.. very juicy)! Parking was very limited behind the building but don’t let that stop you from trying out this amazing restaurant!
One of my absolute favorite places that I've been to in San Jose. The food, the service, the drinks, the aesthetics, even the prices, everything is spot on. I got the biscuit and gravy with fried chicken, hash browns, and a medium-soft sunny-side up egg. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The gravy could use a tad more flavor but it was still fire. The vegetarian eggs benedict were poached to medium. The biscuits were nicely toasted while still soft and fluffy. The mimosas rank in this order pineapple > orange > cranberry. They have the best bottomless mimosas prices and do it for the weekend, instead of just Sunday. I'd go here just for that, tbh.

The best brunch place in the area. Sometimes there's a wait so try to come early. Service is hit or miss. The decor is nice considering it used to be a dry cleaner.
Friendly service, intimate ambiance, great for dates, family, or meeting up with friends. Their wine selection was top tier and their cheese and meet sampler was delicious! I'll definitely be back …
Crab roe avocado toast, was delightful! The wait was long but they were packed and the food and service definitely makes it worth it!

Atmosphere was nice especially when the weather is just right. Got the Crab Avocado Toast and it was ok. Should've stuck with a breakfast dish. Grab a horchata as my drink. My BF got the smoked salmon Benedict with a west coast IPA. To end our lunch we tried the beignet with the lemon curd. That was delicious.
We came here for their happy hour and found the table to be slightly better than mediocre. There were two servers who were attentative and made sure we were doing fine. I am marking one star off because the foods we ordered weren't too flavorful. Potato wedges and dip: there aren't too many pieces. Dip tasted on a blender side so we had to ask for a ketchup. Also the outer skin was soft (I like it slightly crunchy) and the inside was on the harder side (I like it soft on the inside). Burger: .....hmm....... I'm not sure what to say. It tasted just like if I were to make it at home. Two plain buns with a beef Patty that looked and tasted like a burger meat from Costco. Again, I had to use ketchup because it lacked flavor. Bone marrow: I've never had one before so I can't compare but is it suppose to be blend? It was super oily and fatty tho which I liked. Hint of fishy? Seafood taste. Animal IPA: it's a decent price during the happy hour. Slightly hoppy but smooth overall. Atmosphere: it's a nice place with a casual vibe. It's a ceiling to ground windows that opens all the way merging indoor and outdoor. It's a nice place to chat with friends over some drinks but wouldn't recommend for the food.
We were so happy The Table was able to take our last-minute reservation as we needed a place to celebrate our Dad's 79th Birthday! Although it was raining quite a bit, gladly he decided to come out of the house 😊 The Table offers a nice and cozy atmosphere, great for catching up with family. And Thank you to Lindsay who also made my Dad feel special on his birthday. The location worked out to be central to all 5 family members who joined. Think this may become the family reunion spot.
We had a lovely dining experience at The Table, marked by thoughtful service and a menu that offered a variety of well-executed dishes. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which stood out with its crispy exterior and a subtle but satisfying heat from the Sriracha honey glaze. The chicken itself was tender, though a bit on the fattier side than I prefer. I did find myself wishing for more of that sweet and spicy sauce—it tied the sandwich together beautifully and could’ve taken it to the next level with a more generous portion. Service was also a strong point. The staff were polite, attentive, and efficient. We were greeted and seated quickly, and dishes came out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. Overall, The Table delivered on flavor, hospitality, and atmosphere. A solid spot for a thoughtful, well-prepared meal—I'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.
We was there Friday night, so we expected some wait time. It was alright to get a table, it was about 15 minutes wait, but when we ordered food it took them full 50 minutes to prepare it. My food was great, I got pork chop with some veggies. They also have good drinks selection, I had great amber ale 🍺. Atmosphere inside was great, plenty of people, ok music. All waitstaff was somewhat creatively dressed, no boring uniforms for them.
Walking through Willow Glen, my family needed a "beverage". Stopped in here and got 3 bloody Mary's and. Creamsicle drink. The drinks were 4-5 star. We ordered soup, potato wedges, and a couple of salads as appetizers. They were probably only 3-4 stars. We probably need to come for a full meal to get full experience, as recommended by other locals. Service was very good and we got to sit down immediately.
I've eaten at this restaurant a couple times now and I really LOVE their amazing ricotta beignets. The restaurant gets very busy during brunch on the weekends and it can be very hard to find a table. We've waited upwards of an hour at times. Their chicken sandwich is quite good. Also, we've had times when we've stopped by sometime in between lunch and dinner services and there's basically nothing to eat so be sure to check your times before going. They are dog friendly and the atmosphere and ambiance is great :)
Came here for a friend's bday dinner. They were very accommodating as one of my friend's son is allergic to eggs. They worked with them for what seemed like 15 minutes to figure out what they can order for him. Our waiter was also very helpful and attentive as well. We order several appetizers, which were all very tasty. As for the entrées, there was some hits and misses. My steak was ordered medium rare, but came out well done, the pork chop tasted a little dry. The scallops on the other hand was delicious and so was the rainbow trout dish. All in all, it was a great dinner, but I think they are definitely better in doing brunch than dinner.
The pork chop entree and pasta entree were delicious! The burratta appetizer was more like a salad than we thought, sort of strange. The service was alright, but pretty slow and not helpful in guiding our decision of what to get when asked. The atmosphere is great! Both indoor and outdoor dining. The cocktails were fun and delicious! The bread was warm and tasty.
I was expecting a lot more I guess… service was great and the menu is small but has a few gluten free options for me. The drinks were watered down and not very strong but my server helped me out which was nice. I highly suggest the bone marrow but be ready to drink some olive oil. They walked around with fresh bread which was a nice touch although I couldn’t eat it myself. The octopus was so soft, I’ve never had anything like it. I would go here again but probably not to celebrate anything special because it wasn’t the best choice for getting many dishes to share. The peppers was too simple for me and had barely any sauce! The cauliflower pasta was super oily and a bit sour. Overall, nice to try once but you gotta see for yourself because my tastebuds are different than yours.
Service was great and friendly, they seated us quickly around 11:45. They were very attentive to refills and timing our drink and food orders. Near the end they quietly provided a check along with a dessert menu, which felt nice to have an option on whichever we preferred without being pressured into one or the other. We got the shrimp and grits, berg salad with a side of chicken, omelette, and duck liver mousse. The grits were good, not as good as southern grits but pretty good for the bay. It came with 3 pieces of large shrimp. The duck liver was not what we expected, it is mixed with mustard fruit giving it a sweet and tart flavor at the same time. However we were hoping for more liver flavor. The salad and chicken were solid and the omelette was standard. The pomegranate hibiscus drink was very tart, I think lemonade lovers would like this drink. We also got the elote creme brulee, which was superb. It just had a hint of corn, not too overpowering. The beignets... I must complain were more like hush puppies than beignets. But as hush puppies, they were fine, the lemon curd they came with was delightful.
This place was delicious! The egg Benedict I had was very simple but so good. The bread it came with made all the difference. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and it did not get sogy with all the sauce and yilk from the egg. The ham it came with was just so good. It was not salty but just right. The lemon ricotta pancakes are the best pancakes I've tasted. So rich in flavor but well balanced by lemon curd and berry jam on top.
Came on a busy Weds night with 3 others. The establishment was fairly busy and staff was amicable, albeit the service time was a bit slow. Ambiance was nice and bathrooms clean! The drinks were pretty good - mezcal and sparkling rose. Cauliflower soup was delicious and paired well with the bread served. The main courses were okay at best, unfortunately. Pasta lacked a heavy protein like meat, duck breast and steak were okay but lacked sizzle (sauce), shrimp was good. The cornmeal fries were delicious. There were several items on the menu not available (couple salads and the impossible burger), a bit disappointing.
Has a nice covered patio area that's designed very well. Had cold brew, was pretty good Beignets were soft and delicious, but the Lemon dip was a little too sharp, weird contrast The French dip bahn mi was pretty good but nothing extraordinary. Overall will be back to try other innovative things on their menu!
Came here on a recommendation from local AirBnB. Was not disappointed! It was Sr Patrick’s day during Nvidia GtC so the place was bumping from bot locals and folks like myself in town for the conference. They ran out of the non-Guinness stout sadly as what they had on tap was delicious! I marked the food a 4 instead of five for two reasons. The ceviche was extreamly bland, which was odd given they mentioned explicitly it had peanut in it. I tasted no peanut. It was basically generic white fish in citrus and mild(?) salsa mix. Pretty underwhelming. The bread they brought out made up for it… instead of butter, it came with olive oil and ricotta cheese much was de-lich-ous! The second reason I mention 4 stars instead of 5 was the steak… which was awesome but was NOT medium rare. Was close to medium. I bet it would have been even better with some red left. Over all Greta place to eat and wild definitely recommend. Thanks to my AirBnB folks for the recommendation!
Wednesday dinner:(~6.30 pm) - Reserved like few hours before visit🔥Lovely place, great vibe, little crowded and very busy. Protip: If your entree comes with potatoes, don’t order Potato wedges & dip in appetiser, it’s the same. - You’ll be served with a complimentary small portion of baguette/bread with butter like Cheese cake factory. It’s yummy, you’ll end up wanting more. - Ordered ‘The Only Burger that belong to the table’ w Impossible option(costs extra). Was really good, the portion size was perfect for a single person. It comes with potato wedges, ordered extra crispy, it’s done right. Protip: You could ask for the dip for the potatoes, it’s nice. - Ordered ‘Sugar-dusted Ricotta Beignts’, with lemon curd. They’re good when clubbed with lemon curd, different than regular beignets which I had in NOLA. - Served a bit late like in ~20 min. Server was good and accommodating, but we had to wait quite a bit for ordering, receiving order etc.
Delicious food that looks as good as it tastes. Service was fast and friendly and the outside seating was a treat.
Straightforwardly named and equally as tasty, The Table was a great spot to start our night off before we explored the area for Christmas lights back in December. Located right across from a rooftop garage it was very convenient, and they were easily able to accommodate our table of 6. We chose to sit outdoors since we had a dog with us and they had heating lamps which kept the temperature nice and cozy. Our waitress was great, cracking jokes and taking photos of us on request. The food itself was good and came out pretty quick. We ordered the scallop risotto and their burger (real name much longer). The scallop risotto was delicious. Very creamy and hearty with the scallops having a nice flavor and chew. The burger was also pretty good, very filling as well. Honestly our whole party really liked their food, which is a big plus to us. For the lowkey and upscale vibe of this place plus the food and location, we think this is a pretty good spot. There’s a lot to do around here so it’s a great idea for those looking for a good date night spot with fun possibilities all around.
Great location and atmosphere. Pretty cool patio. The service was great - our server, Erica, was awesome. We had the special strawberry salad, the special black cod and John’s Bolognese. The strawberry salad was nice and refreshing. Unfortunately, the black cod and the bolognese were both under seasoned, which was a bummer.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and the friendly staff set the tone for a good experience. The tostada had a crunchy texture with a variety of flavors, and the fried chicken burger with the toasted buns tasted great! The chocolate cake could have been a little less dry. Each dish was beautifully presented. The service was very attentive, and the overall vibe was relaxed.
The food looked good, but was a little bland. It was prepared ok, and for the prices I would have expected more flavor. The coffee was delicious; robust and smooth. The crab cake Benedict had a lot of veggies and the eggs were the 63 degree eggs. The 63 degree egg whites were not fully cooked. The crab cake was moist and tasty. The hash browns were golden and crispy but not over done in oil. They were prepared beautifully. My husband had the corned beef hash, and he was not impressed. The eggs were to be done over hard and still had a runny yoke. The potatoes were done very well and the corned beef was bland. We had Bloody Mary’s, and they were spicy and yummy with all of the veggie garnishes. The beignets were surgery and warm. Great comfort food. The helping size was plenty and the service from Maria was great. The atmosphere is delightful.
We had a nice meal here but nothing stood out to us unfortunately. Maybe my expectations were too high? The melon and prosciutto was a miss since the melon was cut way too big and wasn’t ripe enough. Roasted carrots and scallops were good. Lamb meatballs were fine. I enjoyed the cocktails and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Modern American foods restaurant. Foods and services were excellent. I would give this place 5 stars if the Bone marrow we ordered would have had more bone marrow in it. We got two piece of bone, one with bone marrow (not much though) and one with only bone. They should have a better quality control of this. Other foods were fine as per photo.

My wife, son and I have been coming many times over the years. 2 hours ago, we wrapped up dinner. It was the worst dining experience in some time. We were seated near the bar, next to loud drunks. The food came out in the wrong order, the server forgot the bread, and my Ahi was too salty. I don't think we'll be back.
I came across this place and went to try it out. Appetizers I ordered the bone marrow with pesto and hamachi crudo. Both were phenomenal. I highly recommend both. Although on the hamachi, the parsley overpowered the avocado. Entree I had the steak with onion rings served with grilled lettuce. First, i never had grilled lettuce before. Parts of the lettuce where very charred to the point that its bitter like ash. It almost tasted like an eggplant. The sauce could of used more seasoning to really enhance the flavor as it was lacking salt. Also, i could not substitute the onion rings for any other side as they do not offer it. The biggest dissapointment i had was the onion rings. See picture below. The onion ring batter ratio to onion ring was an absolute disaster as the onion was sliced paper thin. The cook on the steak was mid well when i asked for mid rare not a big deal. Overall experience was ok. I dont think it was worth $150. I wanted to point out that after talking to the manager and showing her some of the issue, she went an extra mile to give me a card for a free entree. This manager had an excellent customer service and went beyond expectations. I will surely go back and give it another chance solely because of her. Very very impressed. Next review to follow.
The beniets were soft and light as if you were eating clouds. There was a large bowl full that disappeared quickly. The menu we were given for brunch was not current with what they were serving, but still good. We had tomato toast, beet salad & corned beef hash with a poached egg. Good food but super noisy & expensive.
For me this place was an ok location for dinner. The service was slow though I'm not sure if it was due to lack of staff or other reasons. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks and a bit longer for our bread to arrive. The meals were pricey for what you get. First, the "ceviche" is not ceviche. This dish is more of a crudo. So I was disappointed when I tasted it because I was hoping for some proper ceviche. All I tasted was olive oil and peppers instead of citrus and acids. I ordered the NY steak medium and it came out well done. The description stated "pomme Anne and roasted carrots." What I got was barely one whole carrot. For the price I was expecting more. The swordfish was a very small slice of fish and dry. The broccolini came out bitter which made it inedible. Overall this place is one and done dining in my opinion.
We waited 30 minutes for seating on a Saturday at noon. We got called for our reservation, checked in and waited additional time as they proceeded to seat 2 couples before us, who checked in after us. We were disappointed with the food; we ordered the shrimp & prosciutto grits and avocado crab toast. The waitress double charged us for a bottle of wine. The service from Adrienne was excellent though.
Came here for brunch with a party of 7. It was my second time coming, the other time I came was with a party of 6 and both times we had to wait about an hour before we could get seated. My friend had tried to make a reservation for us, but was unable to. They do charge a fee if you bring a cake to cut to celebrate for someone’s birthday, which is understandable. I believe our waitress said that it was $2 per person. ~~Parking: The Table’s parking lot itself is pretty small, so I would say that you’d have better luck going into the parking lot on the Main Street (Willow Glen Town Square Parking) or street parking. ~~Service: Fair, the servers are nice. It would just be nice if they did a Yelp waitlist or had the ability to do reservations. ~~Best Part: Bottomless Mimosas. ~~Worst Part: Probably just the wait time, their food is decent. ~~Tips: If you’re a large party, try to come an hour before you plan on being seated just so you can put your name down because the place gets pretty busy ~~Return: Only if everyone in the party I’m with wants to go there.
Not the best dinner I've had from The Table on a surprisingly busy Wedneday night. I'm giving them a slight pass on service because they were attending to a large group of 25. Once my wife and I were seated, our server seemed slightly annoyed (probably the effect of the large party). Food was hit and miss. I had the pork tenderloin, which was a "come hungry, leave hungry" portion size. The pork was chewy and a little dry but flavor was good. My wife's beef pot pie, on the other hand, was delicious. It had a flaky crust, rich filling, and great flavor. I'm not much of a pot pie guy, but I gave it a whirl (given my mere tidbit of tenderloin) and would highly recommend.
This was my second time here and I will say that I liked it better than the first. Food is good but nothing stands out. The prices are pretty expensive overall so this usually isn’t on my radar when choosing a place to pop in and eat at. Drinks were tasty and staff was nice
I enjoyed dinner with my wife and niece at The Table, a place we have visited at least five times before. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, the cocktails are excellent, and the food has traditionally been the highlight of the evening. That reputation is exactly why this has become our go to Friday night spot before a major holiday. It usually delivers an upscale, home cooked meal paired with a great overall experience. We sat outside on the patio, and our server was excellent. She was friendly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and consistently checked in on us despite how busy the restaurant was. The service that evening was truly outstanding. For starters, we ordered the bone marrow, ceviche, octopus, and steak tartare. The bone marrow consisted of one small seven inch bone served with three large slices of bread, each cut in half. The portion was imbalanced, and the dish itself lacked depth. We ended up using only two of the six pieces of bread. The ceviche, unfortunately, seemed to be missing any real flavor. The octopus had a very soft, almost airy texture that suggested it may have been sitting for some time. The clear standout among the starters was the steak tartare, which was excellent in flavor, texture, and presentation. For our main courses, we ordered the scallop risotto, black cod, and crab salad. The presentation was beautiful, but this is where the experience fell apart. None of the dishes appeared to be seasoned at all. It felt as though salt and basic seasoning had been completely omitted. The lack of seasoning was consistent across all three dishes, which made the issue impossible to ignore. The wine and cocktails were great. Unfortunately, we left disappointed in the food, especially because this restaurant has been such a reliable favorite for us. Given our past experiences, this meal felt like a significant deviation from the standard they have delivered in the past and that kept us coming back. We genuinely hope this was simply an off night, but this visit missed the mark.
Food was pretty mediocre. The bacon was pretty small and the hash brown made me feel like they were rationing out potatoes lol for the Price definitely not worth the visit. Betweeny friend and I we spent about 40 each which is a lot got a basic breakfast. Hot chocolate was good but small for 8 bucks.

Whatever you do, don’t order the bone marrow. Left photo: the bone marrow The Table used to give Right photo: the bone marrow The Table gave me on my last visit For the money I feel a bit ripped off. There was barely any marrow in there. I don’t know if this is due to a change of supplier, or just cheaping out, but was a bit disappointed. Shame because I used to love going here for that. In my opinion if it’s gonna be like this might as well take it off the menu. Service and atmosphere were still decent.
To put it bluntly I don't care for this place. I remember the first time I came here with my now ex-girlfriend YEARS AGO and I was not enthralled on it. For brunch it was over $50. I remember getting the corned beef hash and while it was alright the portion size was way small and not worth the price. I've been here 2 times since then for lunch with family and it didn't change my mind. My last time I got a burger and it was just OK. I forgot what the exact price was for lunch but it was over $200 for 6 with a few beers. The service was forgettable. If the food was mind blowing it would be a different story. The location is great though and the building itself is well done, they have patio seating which is great in the summer. Parking can be miserable though.
Answer from the restaurant: your server forgot to put your order in the system. Why are you treating me like this? We were all human beings and we made mistakes. After we almost there to start an argue and I lost my temper she finally started to apologize. Worst explanation, ever, because I also want to ask the same question: why did you guys treat me and my family like this, in your restaurant and felt we were the wrong ones and should take all the mistakes with generous understanding. ————————————————— If possible I would rather to give 0. This is a discrimination restaurant for sure. We came in at 9:50am and waited for more 15min to have someone to come to us for order. We ordered super fast. We were the first table in that area. After us there were 4-5 tables came in. We waited for 40min for our meals and surprisingly found all other tables were served with full orders and we were the only one that has nothing. What we ordered showed up on other tables even they ordered after us. We complained and the servant went to the kitchen for another long time without giving us any answer. No appetizers no entries, even coffee needed to be waited for long time to be served. This is the worse restaurant I have ever had in whole Bay Area which disappointed my families, my kid and my beautiful weekend. On my black list forever.
I came to this restaurant based on the high ratings, but I was very disappointed. The prices are higher than the actual value of the dishes, and overall the food did not feel special. The ceviche was especially disappointing — it didn’t have the authentic flavor, and unfortunately it upset my stomach badly, which makes me think it wasn’t fresh enough. I would not recommend it at all. The salmon eggs benedict was also below average. The hash browns were poorly made, inconsistent in texture, and honestly some of the worst I’ve tried. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is friendly, but at the end of the day, this is a restaurant and the food quality simply wasn’t up to standard — neither in flavor nor in presentation, and definitely not for the prices charged. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
It was not an easy decision for me to leave a negative review, but I would be more than happy to revisit it if I receive a thoughtful response from the restaurant. My intention is simply to share my honest experience in the hope of helping this restaurant improve, and nothing more. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and I would like to feel safe and welcome when I bring my friends here, no matter what skin colors they are. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect and attention. I’ve lived in the U.S. for over a decade, and I honestly never expected that dining out would one day come with the worry of being treated differently. Unfortunately, our experience with the service left us feeling uncomfortable. To start, the front desk initially didn’t want to seat us outdoors, despite plenty of available tables. Right after she seated the group ahead of us (a white couple), I pointed out, “there are plenty of tables outside,” which made her feel awkward and eventually led her to seat us outdoors. Secondly, our waitress did not greet us at all throughout the entire meal. She only appeared to take our order, without any greeting or eye contact. She didn’t bother to refill our water or check in on us, while she spent time small-talking and joking with other tables. I didn’t even have a chance to tell her that my husband’s dish was cold. At the end, we tried to get her attention several times to ask for the check—my husband spoke to her directly, and I made eye contact twice—but we were consistently overlooked as she attended to other tables. Eventually, I decided to speak with the manager. The manager was generous—she comped our bill and offered us dessert, which we truly appreciated. I could tell she wanted to make things right, and I’m grateful for her efforts. However, the interaction felt rushed, and she didn’t seem to speak with our server at all about our feedback. When she came to our table, she didn’t ask my husband for his feedback, which only added to our lingering feeling of being unintentionally dismissed. I’m not sharing this to complain or seek anything more—we’ve already received compensation. I’m leaving this review in the hope that the restaurant will reflect on how it treats all guests, and especially how moments of discomfort can leave a lasting impression. As I mentioned earlier, I would like to feel safe and welcome when I bring my friends here in the future, no matter what skin colors they are. I look forward to hearing a response from the restaurant.
