A nice place to get some drinks.
Great place, great music and great prices!!! Outstanding.
Excellent experience. We came with a large group of friends, and they helped us accommodate even without a reservation. The food took a while, but there were more than 10 of us. In any case, it was 100% worth the wait; everything was delicious. My girlfriend forgot her wallet, and we were able to retrieve it without any problems. It's a shame she forgot the waitress's name. Thank you very much anyway. We'll be back when we're in Monterrey again.
Great place.
Good atmosphere music and drinks kinda for the older crowd.
The waiter charged us more than the drinks and bucket were actually worth. When we asked for the ticket, he refused to give it to us, even though they require it at the bar exit. And the worst part is that the atmosphere is pretty awful.
It's a really fun place, usually packed and therefore uncomfortable due to the close quarters. The perreo is Boyak's thing, and it really gets good. Beer, drinks, a VIP area. Everything a good club should have. There are midweek promotions and a karaoke night. I recommend following them on their social media.
Poor service, inattentive waiters, lacks atmosphere
They force you to leave a tip and take advantage of the fact that you're drunk to charge more. The waiter who served us refused to give the 5% tip, saying it was only 15 or 20% at the beginning. It was very bad; it's not mandatory there, although the atmosphere is good.
The place is tiny; it doesn't look anything like the promotional photos on their social media. They took forever to bring our order, and the waiter wasn't attentive. They forced us to pay a 30% tip. The DJ seemed to be playing a playlist because the same songs were repeated in the same order about three times. You can't take your leftover beer home. They accept card and cash. I don't recommend it. I won't be back.
The waiter altered the bill, charging everything above the normal price and even wanted us to leave him a 20% tip. Considering it was a Friday, the atmosphere didn't seem comfortable. I recommend you avoid this place. People complain for a reason.
Don't go. They add things to your bill that you didn't even ask for, and they demand a 30% tip.
Not recommended at all...the waiters don't give you a receipt...and when it's time to pay...they give you the change from their wallet...and they always close the orders themselves...
I don't recommend it. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the waiter who served us lied about the prices. The prices on their website are listed, and we decided to message them on Facebook. They told us that beer after 10 pm was 400 pesos, but the waiter charged us 550 pesos for a bucket (without tip). He charged us 350 pesos for the first bucket (which would have been 450 pesos with tip), meaning that each bucket you order doesn't include the tip. Obviously upset, we decided to pay the total, and he gave us a folded receipt (where he wrote "paid") as our exit pass. When we left, they took the receipt back, and we realized that the total on the receipt was 810 pesos, but the card reader charged us 1280 pesos (my bank statement shows the place under a different name, but if you go and pay by card, you'll see the difference). We left very disappointed by their dishonesty. He left photos to make people think twice before going there.
I liked the place, but unfortunately, because of the charges, I won't be back. The first time, everything was fine, everything was clear. The second time, they charged almost 40% as a tip.
If you have the chance, don't take advantage of it. I swear, a dive bar or a neighborhood bar in San Pedro is better than this place. They charge you a 20% tip, and they even have the nerve to say they don't get paid, which isn't our problem. Between five of us, we had consumed the actual price of $1750 pesos, and they charged us $3000 pesos for so-called "services," when the waiter left much to be desired. I hope PROFECO (the Mexican consumer protection agency) investigates this soon because it's outrageous, and everything leaves a lot to be desired...
