My favorite Chinese restaurant whenever I’m in San Ramon. Always ordered Garlic Eggplants, Dried string beans, salt and pepper pork and Chinese broccolis with oyster sauce. Never disappointed me.. so delicious 😋

Highlights of the experience: - Servers very courteous and responsive - Poured our egg flower soup with a smile - Refilled our yes and water many times despite a busy-ish body count Memorable food: - Green beans (10/10) - Probably best stir fried green beans I've had - Egg flower soup - Nostalgic flavors & warmed my soul

Friend suggested to try this rather new Chinese restaurant. Clean and fast servicing. The 3 lunch specials were pretty tasty. We all liked the flavor. Plus there was no msg which is a great thing for Chinese restaurant. Will come again.

We've been coming here for years and enjoy the food! Our favorites are the sweet corn fish fillers which was a recommendation from a server - delicious!! The chow fun & sweet and sour pork are delicious as well.

Our go-to Chinese restaurant closed and we've been searching for a replacement. We order take out. New Moon has a big menu with our favorite dishes. They were busy, but our order was ready quickly and on time. We were very happy with the food quality. No disappointments. The restaurant was very pleasant inside. They have some big tables for groups. We have found our new go-to.

Stopped in while on the road traveling and we were not disappointed. We can't wait to come back. My husband and I agreed it was hands down the best Cashew Chicken we've ever had based on the wide variety of fresh, perfectly cooked veggies. Great portions for a great price!

Went here for lunch and tried their Lunch Specials - Fish with Mixed Veggies with Steamed Rice, Cashew Prawns with Mixed Veggies and BBQ Fried Rice, and Walnut Prawns with Chow Mein. Started with a bowl Hot and Sour Soup. Portions were good size for the price. Lots of protein. Lots of fresh veggies stir fried just right (firm, but cooked). Food came out hot and fast. Kid-friendly: Restaurant has high chairs. Would go back and try dinner next time.

Had occasion to have lunch here recently. Good news, they offer luncheon-specials even on weekends. Food itself is good. I had the mongolian chicken luncheon/$l3.00. The pork fried rice had very few pieces of pork in it but it was tasty. The chicken was hot/taste but the sauce was a bit sweet [a little different than I'm used to for any mongolian creation]. Portions were large, I didn't finish. My only real negative was, the whole dish was luke warm, not hot/temperature. As I was the only [early] diner in the place, I suspect the food was pre-cooked/made and just warmed to serve or wasn't wok'd long enough. The appetizer/fried wonton/2 pcs, was also warm, as was the sweet sauce over it. The food would have tasted SO much 'better' if it was cooked just a bit more [I even some raw onions in the chicken]. I'll return, just to see if the food is normally served hot.......

They are family business, father & mother work in kitchen, that’s why the quality & volume r always make us satisfied. They also had chef special wrote on a board at entrance, then make you have more delicious choices. Their price is reasonable and below other same level restaurants.

Decided to try this place out. Visiting Dublin area for work... was hungry for some chinese food. Got the crab and fish maw soup (**no crab but a bunch of fish maw with some random veggies)👎 👎 big downer... and the the hong Kong style chow mein had no flavor... well both had little to none flavor. Only thing good was the food was hot when I picked it up. Hope they take this review seriously and serve better food for the price they're charging... the point is to get ppl to come back and tell others how good your food is... but can't do that here...so disappointed.... if yall don't believe me.. try it for yourself...lol🙃

We tried the New Moon for the first time. The food was ok but wasn't bad. The service lacks a smile and the rest is said by the lack of customers. They didn't serve us the customary tea until we asked for it. We got the garlic eggplant, string beans, mushroom mix and the kung Pao tofu. The eggplant turned out to the best. Ask for the kind of spice level you want. I do want to here one more time to give it a chance.

I recently went to this place for a second time. I ordered combination Chow Mein & Garlic Fish. The Garlic Fish was just ok. Lacked Garlic flavor but the issue for me was the lack of meat in my combination chow mein. I was shorted. I only received 3 shrimp, 2 very small remnants of chicken slivers and two nonexistent pieces of beef. All of this for $28. What a ripoff. They must do better. There is no need to short change people who pay good money for food.

I got excited when I saw chicken w/ broccoli and beef broccoli but I have to be honest, I didn't really like the food. The Crab puffs have some weird cheese in them that most Chinese restaurants don't use and the plates apparently don't come with rice. I'll probably give the restaurant another chance despite this just because the staff is wonderful!

This is my most favorite Chinese go to place for last 5 years. I don’t know what changed but last 3-4 times constantly the food is salty in a way it’s not edible. And same feedback came from family and friends too. Just to ensure it’s not me alone thinking it’s too much salty. The hot and sour soup is way too sour. And too much corn starch makes it sticky. It seems the cook has changed or something. My kid will force me to go here but she also hates it now.

The worst quality meat I’ve had. I have my two favorite Chinese restaurants that I frequent in the Dublin San Ramon area and I just thought I’d try this place, but it was definitely two thumbs down🤮
