Rudy's is a local favorite. Fresh ingredients and authentic Mexican cuisine. We had breakfast and it was so delicious. I had the Chiliquilies with over easy eggs, and my husband had Chicken Enchiladas and eggs. Both were amazing 👏🤩 Also, they have Salsa bar. Great flavor and freshly made 😋

There are a ton of places to eat in Santa Barbara..... but this little spot is one of the best. You sit in an eclectic fun little restaurant. You look through the windows at the Presidio in Downtown Santa Barbara. You listen to the music being played. You eat some great Mexican food. You're in Santa Barbara. Enchiladas suizas. Chicken soft taco. What else are you looking for!? :)

Really great taqureia. Excellent food. Quality meat in the tacos with generous portions. Pay extra for chips. You order at the counter, the food will be delivered to your table.

We stopped in after visiting the Presidio. The food was great, hot and tasty with generous portions. The staff was friendly and helpful in offering suggestions, because everything on the menu sounded delicious at very reasonable prices. Our food did not take long once we ordered and the staff followed up to make sure nothing else was needed. The restaurant theme decor was not overwhelming. The restaurant, tables and floor were clean. You have the option to eat inside or at one of the many outside tables. I would definitely go back and enjoy a meal here.

Rudy’s has the best Chimichanga in town! My husband and I love going there to have some delicious Mexican food. Their house made salsas are amazing. They also have a great selection of different Mexican dishes. You gotta try this place next time you’re in town 🤩

We were looking for some flavorful Mexican food. Loved the Enchilada Suiza and wet Classic Burrito. The burrito is Huge! We had 2 full meals and the beans/rice were the base for a 3rd! Great salsa bar with all the fixings to dress-up and Mexican meal.

Wow, what can we not say about this little gem, Rudy's. We were just in Santa Barbara for our anniversary and did some wine tasting off the strip. We were in serious need of some carbs, if you know what I mean. We walked a couple blocks to Rudy's and were very happy we did. This place was a super quaint taqueria and so delicious.

Rudy’s is the kind of place that feels like home. The food is always incredible — fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. But what really makes Rudy’s special is the people. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and clearly take pride in creating a safe, respectful environment for everyone who walks through the door! I just want to say thank you to Rudy’s for standing by your team and your values. You’ve got loyal customers for life — we see you, and we’ve got your back. ❤️

We ordered shrimp tacos, huge portions for 17 dollars, lunch and dinner were abundantly satisfied with their portions. Takeaway provided with inrestaurant meal. There is a salsa bar, with a selection of otc drinks, mineral water included. The parking was convenient within walking distance to downtown attractions, public shopping and parks. The atmosphere is comfortable, cozy and of course authentically Mexican flavor, with open door seating. Delightful restauranteur.

I teach at a nearby school and came from out of town really missing good Mexican food — Rudy’s did not disappoint! The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Definitely my new go-to when I’m in the area.

If you go to Rudy's, you have to have the stuffed tacos... One a year ago and for the entire year I thought about going back and eating them... Beef or chicken? Absolutely delicious.

This place has great fish tacos. They were reasonably priced for being in Santa Barbara things tend to be high price to eat around. This place had good tasting tacos. 🌮

At first I was hesitant because it looks like a taco shop, and you order your food and pay at the cashier. But once they bring your order to the table they serve you like a restaurant, with nice plates 🍽. The food was very good, very authentic home Mexican flavors. Well served 👏

Very good food. I got the wet burrito de carnitas and my husband the original burrito de asada. Both meats were very well seasoned, the side of avocados was fresh, the salsas had a great taste. A little pricey ($30), but worth it.

Really good Mexican food! We had Pork Chile Verde Sopes, suiza enchilada, chile relleno and carnitas nachos and all were really good! This is a counter-order restaurant with chips and salsa available for a small fee. The salsas are all excellent! Rice and beans were very good as well! I recommend!!

I would not go to this location! Parking terrible also the Tacos are greasy and they don't have Taco Tuesday like the one by the Tee Off. Tacos are only 3.50 each and they fry them in such a way they are so Tasty! This place downtown is horrible! at the location next to 31 flavors they are crispy and fresh! Go to that one! This place is way over priced! The one in Carpinteria is also very good for 3.50 a Taco on Tuesdays.

Been trying to like this place, ordered several times and several different things. It's down the street from my apartment but no this will be the last time I order food from here. The cashiers always ask me if I'm "picking up?" almost like they think I'm a delivery driver?? Then they are always telling mw to hold on like they are busy but I don't ever see them doing anything that I should wait on to order food. This last time I ordered two carne asada sopes a la cartè, horchata and a beef crispy taco. What I got was one carne asda soft taco and one chicken taco. Then I reminded them about my horchata, she begrudgingly asked ice or no ice. I said Ice please and she proceeded to fill the cup to the brim with ice and to top it off with probably 4oz of horchata (mediocre at best btw). I turned around and went back to see what the mistake was about, only to be told I was wrong and that's what I ordered. I'm a peaceful guy and just agreed because I was too hungry by that point and not in the mood to talk over an aggressive cashier who spoke little English. 8th time is not a charm apparently and I will not be back a ninth time.

Horrible food. We stopped off on the way back to Oxnard. Food was so Horrible it was putrid. My wife got I'll within minutes of getting back on the 101 freeway. We had to stop shortly down the road and she got ill for 25 min. Fair warning ⚠️ . Plus they are absolutely hostile, if you film the restaurant!!!!!
