Busy Saturday night dinner we had. This place was super busy and we waited about 20min. It would be better we went there some off peak time. Food was 👍 we had Korean style Chinese food. We loved bokchoy very much. JJampong and Jjajang was flavorful and had some unique taste to it. We totally enjoyed!!

I was misled by this restaurant’s name for a long time—I always thought it was a Chinese restaurant. But when I finally came here, I realized it’s actually a Korean one. My husband used to come here often before the pandemic. Their black bean noodles are delicious, but that’s not really what I want to talk about. What truly stands out isn’t just the food, but the service. In today’s Bay Area, especially among Asian restaurants, it’s rare to encounter genuine service. You often end up tipping for people who simply drop off your food and disappear. But at Beijing Restaurant, you’ll understand what real service feels like—and you’ll be happy to tip for it. Their servers focus on actually taking care of your needs during the meal, without being intrusive or using those overly scripted lines like, “How’s everything tasting so far?” that interrupt your dining experience. Their Mexican waiter is neat, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely comfortable. The female server, who has apparently been working here since before the pandemic, adds to that sense of familiarity and warmth. Altogether, it gives the impression of a place with integrity and care—a restaurant that truly values its customers. I’m more than willing to pay for real service, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Excellent food and service. Atmosphere is very classy. There are private party rooms. Try the Happy Family, very good.

A fantastic local eatery with great food. It’s a well balanced fusion between traditional Chinese and Korean.

Beijing restaurant is one of those korean chinese restaurants which feature both a vast menu of Korean and Chinese cuisine We made a reservation for 7 which gave us the private room which can hold a max of 10 comfortably Overall the flavor and dishes were huge portions and had a lot to offer The jajangmyeon was solid and tang su yuk was also solid Their crispy rice soup was fantastic and mu shu had great flavor too Overall great experience and worth it

Delicious Chinese food with a Korean twist. Some of the favorites are salt & pepper fish, black bean noodles, and dumplings. Surprisingly large menu to choose from. Fast and efficient service, with a large free parking lot. Will be back to try other items on the expansive menu!

My family loves this place. We order green beans, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, and chow fun. They would eat it every night. Always great service. We got there at 6 on a Sunday and walked right in.

First time here and it’s really nice inside and very clean. Very friendly staff and service is great. We did the 3 person family meal and it was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Probably the best Koreans-style Chinese food around. Service is fast. There were 9 parties ahead of me and I waited less than 30 min to get seated without reservation. Not the most high end vibe but the food is A+.

I've been eating here for a couple years and I've always enjoyed their food. I usually get the chicken chow mein but I've been changing it up sometimes. The fried meat dumplings were very good, especially in sweet and sour sauce, along with the egg rolls.

Please read reviews about restaurants before you go :) Some reviewers mentioned expecting traditional Chinese food and you won't find that here. We had a great meal at Beijing Restaurant. They’re known for their Korean Chinese food, specifically the sweet and sour pork and the jajangmyeon. Definitely get both dishes. The pork is perfectly cooked and they use pork shoulder instead of the white meat restaurants usually use. So much better. The black bean noodles were great as well, on par with what other restaurants in the area have to offer. They have an extensive menu and this place seems to be a great place to visit with some friends and drinks. We’ll definitely be back.

The two most favored korean chinese menu- jja jang myun and jjam ppong- are prepared just right! Those two hit the spot with bang for a buck! Not so sure of other dishes like tang soo yuk (too little meat and big fluffy dough).

Had the Beijing/Combination Chow Mein, Mushu Pork and Egg Rolls. Mushu Pork is a must have. Yummy, perfectly seasoned, good ingredients and portion with juicy well marinated pork slices and veggies mixed together with a light soy flavor and sweet sauce. Thin sheets and hoisin sauce on the side. The Chow Mein was good too with shrimp, beef and pork as proteins. The egg rolls didn't have any meat in it but the distinct flavor of the mushroom made it really good. Came with sweet and sour sauce which perfectly complemented the crispy egg rolls. They give complementary kimchi and pickled radish as sides, hot tea and even dessert, which was fried sweet potato wedges covered with caramelized sugar (good too). The bill with tax and 20% tip came up to $61. Enough food for 2 people with some leftover. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Santa Clara.

Been meaning to try out this place for the black bean noodles (can't remember the Korean name). Get the J14 dish with seafood, a little hint of spice but very tasty. An interesting combination of Chinese inspired korean food. Ordered: sweet and sour pork Beijing style, beef and string beans, salt and pepper shrimp, eggplant dish, and black bean noodles. Favorite was the beef and string beans.

The food is delicious. Customer service was very good. I'll admit the chow mien noodles were not what I expected but still delicious. The orange beef if my favorite. The jajangmyeon was also great.

It's difficult to write review for this restaurant because it's confusing. I went to the restaurant expecting to get some authentic Beijing food, but the restaurant was mostly Korean. I've had Beijing food and this is definitely not authentic Beijing food. However, I still give this place a 4 star rating because the taste and portion of the food is pretty good. I barely finished my noodles because of the portion. I would say this place is a Korean Chinese fusion and not Beijing food.

This is our family's default for group gatherings! The private rooms have a minimum of $200 but it's quaint. Their set courses are pretty good! The food comes out speedy fast so make sure all of your parties are present! Some of our favorites are sweet and sour pork, jjajjangmyun, spicy fried shrimp, mushu wrap, sizzling rice soup, and chicken wings! They get quite busy so highly recommend to go early or you can always walk to the bakery down the plaza while you wait.

The black bean noodle abd spicy seafood noodle were great but the sweet and sour pork (beijing style) was the real star. The fried coating is very crispy and the sauce also tastes nice. The sauce isn't too sweet. The only thing I would do is to ask for the pork and sauce separately or to put the sauce on the side. The spicy seafood noodle wasn't too spicy at all (this is coming from someone who is not really great at eating spicy food). Black bean noodle tastes pretty clean too.

*UPDATE: 07.11.24 11am There must be a different inexperienced chef as today's dishes were AWFUL, salty, flavorless; -Jjajangmyun (Blackbean Noodles) = noodles weren't the correct noodles at all, sauce was oily and bland -Broccoli Beef = couldn't distinguish what type of protein this was as it certainly didn't taste like beef, was old, broccoli was old not crisp, sauce was flavorless. Also asked for it to be made spicy, they "forgot", we were the 1st and only customers in at 11am :/ -XO Seafood Chow Fun was oily, way too salty, but seafood was fresh (probably because it was from a frozen bag) Service was ok, nothing great about it. Our favorite assistant manager wasn't there today. If they changed chefs then we'll avoid from now on. Past Review; Delicious, fresh, hot, clean food! Owner is ethnic Chinese born in South Korea! We ordered B12 Whole Fish (Rock Cod), came crispy smothered in delicious vegetable sauce, very big! The B7 Fried Whole Sole Fish in Chili Sauce (pictured flat lying fish) is even more delicious (less bones) but both are so tender, moist and good! The Mushu Beef is also very yummy, came with 5-6 wraps, sliced green onions & oyster sauce. The Jjajangmyun is authentic, tastes exactly like back in Korea decades ago the original hand cut noodles in black bean & pork sauce. Service was friendly and excellent, the lovely young lady Taiwanese (born in USA) Manager was super delightful. Restaurant is always full of Korean patrons and busy with to-go orders so food is particularly delicious! We will be back often!

We are four Koreans who ate at Beijing Restaurant recently. Jjambbong was okay. Jjajangmyeon was below par—if you want sweeter go to Paik’s Noodles and if you want traditional taste go to Tongsoon garden. We also orderd Tangsuyook and Kansho Shrimp both of which were terrible. I’m almost certain they used frozen cocktail shrimp for the Kansho Shrimp—they weren’t even fried properly. Yuck. Please go to Paik’s Noodles or Tongsoon Garden.
