I ordered the Blackened Ahi Eggs Benedict. Wonderful hollandaise sauce, thick in texture and flavorful. The tuna was generously seasoned with only a little bit of heat. It was a perfect brunch meal. Inside the restaurant is spacious but is popular so a little loud inside but they do offer outdoor seating if that is an issue for your party. Definitely check out this cafe.

Five plus stars! Breakfast was outstanding! The very best scramble, potatoes and multigrain pancake that we've ever had. Service excellent! Food above and beyond supberb. Don't miss out! Fabulous!

Everything was delicious 😋 We were a group of 7 and they were able to seat us. They also have outdoor seating for people with pets.

Delicious breakfast! I had the pesto tomato scramble and added sausage and feta cheese- so flavorful. We also ordered the Walnut Ave special with eggs and Canadian bacon, plus hazelnut and vanilla lattes, which were great. Huge shoutout to Emily, who was so sweet and helpful. We were initially seated in the back near the staff doorway where there was a lot of traffic, and my friend who is pregnant couldn’t move easily when people passed. Emily, with a huge smile on a very busy Sunday, made sure we got a better table. Shy, our waitress, was awesome- fast service and she always made sure our coffee was full. Great food and even better service.

This place is always busy, especially on the weekend, so expect a short wait - They flip tables pretty quickly, though we we're rushed at all. Service was super and with a huge smile! Food was delicious. I had the Huevos Rancheros w/carnitas and she had the Cafe Florentine.. both were very tasty. Portions are big so bring your A game!

Out of all the restaurants I have ate in the santa cruz area so far I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service of this establishment! It was pretty well priced and the food also tasted really good, one of the better burgers I’ve had throughout the Santa Cruz region so if you do come here I would for-sure recommend the hamburgers! The only complaint that id have is that the chilaquiles didn’t taste that authentic so if you want a classic mexican chilaquiles taste I doubt you’d get it here, otherwise this place was definitely worth a visit and if you’re in the downtown area of santa cruz please check it out!

We found this quaint place to eat breakfast in Santa Cruz. They were also serving lunch. The menu was a very good variety of choices with breakfast items what we had to eat. Mine was regular over easy eggs 🍳 with homestyle potatoes, I believe with onions 🧅, and a nicely cross English muffin with real butter 🧈. My daughter got the chorizo scramble and my grandson had a delicious looking sandwich 🥪 It must have been good because when I looked up to see what kind it was, he had finished it! Nice place to eat and highly recommend.

Visited for the first time on a Monday morning and the place was packed - which was a great sign right off the bat! The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The coffee and OJ are also worth mentioning as both were quite good. The waitstaff were also very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an awesome breakfast experience :)

This was a delicious weekday brunch. The French toast was light, crispy and flavorful, and the Benedict was lemony good. We both agreed we would be happy to order the same thing or try something new next time we come.

This place sets the bar for a breakfast and lunch restaurant. The food is excellent. The service is friendly and efficient, and the vibe is comfortable. We hadn’t been back for some time and everything about the place was great. The staff is busy and the joint is busy for good reason. I had the chorizo with eggs and my wife had bacon and eggs. My bride was thrilled and mine was one of best I’ve ever had. Thank you❤️🐣

If I was a local, I'd go here. That being said every time I come to the Santa Cruz area, I do go there. The menu is pretty large , so again, if I was local I'd be going here to try all their offerings. It's always busy, so the best thing to do is put your name up and walk the downtown for a bit. The food tastes clean and the portions are good.

This spot was amazing. Delicious food, friendly staff, amazing manager, and super dog friendly! I would go back a million times over. Absolutely loved it. When it is really crowded, it can get a bit loud inside due to the acoustics. That was the only drawback.

Delicious breakfast and amazing service! We ordered the French toast, the Belgian waffles, eggs, and tea & coffee. The French toast was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it. The Belgian waffles were perfect, and the eggs were tasty. We had to wait for twenty five minutes to get seated, but it was worth it. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I will definitely be coming again.

We order to share , eggs Benedict with home fries, very good and the Hollandaise much better, pancakes , nice, fluffy and tasty and the avocado burger with home fries, very tasty and the home fries really crispy. The service was excellent, ours waitress was very nice, helpful and smiling all the time. Atmosphere I think need some renovation and better decor. You can seat inside or outside. For sure I will back if I’m in the area.

Food & service were great. Lots of dish choices. Their hollandaise sauce is on point & not some riff from another base sauce. They were very busy but, our waitress checked with us often, and the food came quickly. A little loud inside & the table size was very small which meant a crowded top for 4 of us eating, but we made it work. Worth a visit. Street parking can be challenging, but there's a garage very close.

I liked the diner vibe and they had all the staples. Something in my omelette with feta, olives, and peppers was sweet which was a bit weird but still good.

We walked in on a Saturday 11:20am, and would need to wait around 25min for a table of three adults. Once we are seated, another 10min for waitress to serve, and another 20min for dishes to serve, this is due to the busy hour around noon time, that is acceptable. But I would still recommend if the restaurant owner could consider improve the dish wait time? Because when our plates are served, all of them were not freshly hot, just a little warm... As of the dish flavor, my mom liked the signature shrimp benedict. She enjoyed its flavor and its homefries.

Over priced under delivered. Portions were not 20$ plate sizes. Black olives on a heuvos rancheros feels distinctly American. Belgium waffles with caramelized bananas and walnuts had so little toppings and what was there was mushy and not grilled in the slightest. Toast for the omlette came completely dry. A large oj is miniscule. For downtown santa cruz prices this is not the move. Possible if you HAVE to eat somewhere but there are better choices

My husband and I went here on a whim, the reviews were good and the food looked good so we gave it a try. Huge mistake. Firstly, I got chocolate milk, found fruit flies scattered in it. I did get another milk fully comped but it turned me right off. Secondly, the food. For its value, it's horrible food. We paid just about $60 USD for two meals, and they collectively sucked. I ordered the eggs Benedict, my husband got the Ahi Tuna Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was pretty much just mustard and mayonnaise. The potatoes were nearly raw, and the flavours were just all around lacking and quite gross for the amount we paid. Our server was kind and sweet, but yeah. Please save your money. This place is NOT worth it.
