Range Cafe Santo Domingo Reviews
Blue corn pancakes were fabulous! Usually not a corn fan but these were amazing. Service was par and atmosphere was breakfast/brunch chaos per weekend usual.
The service was amazing! Liz was so sweet and took care of us. The first time eating breakfast here. The pecan cinnamon roll was so good. We will be back.
We have been going to this restaurant for the past 4 years, everytime we have someone visit us we bring them here. The food is always amazing, staff is always friendly and welcoming, from Kaitlyn the waitress today to the sweet guy who brought us our food we are always happy with the service. The Pumpkin Cheese cake is a must and my favorite Blue Corn Pancakes and Kitchen Sink Omelette also amazing.
Delicious food. I am obsessed with the Green Chile Strips! Their Relleno Plate has raised the bar on Chile rellenos for me. Also enjoyed the Mexican Latte Cake. I wish I had thought to take picture!
What a fantastic find! Service was great! Menu was big and you can order breakfast until 2 or 3pm! My husband and I shared the Turkey Plate with Brown Gravy instead of Chili Gravy. Was delish! We also shared a Cream Puff. To-die-for! The other desserts looked amazing too! Fun gift shop! Would definitely recommend!

Great place, they have live music. Went Saturday night on the 15th and saw Twist and Shout Beatles Trib band. Had such a good time. Also if you get Crystal as your server, she is awesome and you're in good hands if it's your first time there. Try the fried green Chile appetizer and the combo plate. Death by Lemon Cheesecake was to die for.
I had lunch at this location and ordered a Reuben sandwich. Although the sandwich was good, the corned beef was a little tough and had fat around it, the green Chile was an added benefit my sandwich fell apart before I got a bite of it. I had to keep fixing it so I could get a bite. I ended up using my utensils to cut it up to eat it and had a hard time cutting the corned beef as it was a bit tough.
Good location. Easy access in and out. Good variety of food for everyone. Clean atmosphere. This was about the best. Our server started out good but went downhill after greeting. Was spare to check on us. Way too much green chile in everything. Should make an option to add to plate if you want. The sandwiches needed more meat on them. Very lacking for what you pay. My friend got the tacos and they were sitting for a while. When she picked them up all the meat just fell out the bottom of the taco. Very disappointed in the desserts. Out of several things we wanted. The bread pudding was cold and was dry. Like cut up bread pieces. No sauce hardly. Probably not a place i would eat at again.
This is the last time I'm coming here. It's been a while and I thought I'd give it another try. I was just as disappointed as before if not more. We thought we were lucky because we were seated right away but it took a good 15 minutes to be acknowledged for drinks. Our server was the bartender and also had 3 additional tables besides us so she was unable to preform her job effectively (not her fault). Then we waited nearly 30 minutes for burnt eggs, hard beans and bland food. We never got refills or anything. The hash browns were really nasty and the portions were small for the cost. Yuck. We only ate as much as we did because we were absolutely starving and didn't have time to go anywhere else. We've been waiting for our check forever. It's too expensive here to be this awful.
We won't be coming back. The service was awful. Our server never came back after taking our order. The food was marginal at best..we were disappointed to see this location has gone down hill. Not to mention we waited 30 min to be seated for a disappointment. Soggy tortillas and slimey sausage
Arrived, got seated with a menu and never got any assistance. After giving it awhile, still nothing. No one even noticed as I walked right out the front door. Came down the road to The ORIGINAL Cocina Azul on 12th!
Ran out of my dish. When we arrived the pastry shelf had entire cake and pies. By the time we finished quesadilla dinner, not what I wanted, there were only 3 choices. We were told that the dessert had been thrown out because they were at the end of expiration! Come on were sitting next to them 30 min ago. I won't go back and definitely do not recommend. I have been to The Range near Cottonwood mall for several years and never heard of such nonsense.
I was expecting the same quality of food as the Westside and Montgomery locations, but I was highly disappointed at all the food my table ordered, you can tell they don’t use cream for the gravy as the other locations and the biscuits are not the same the home fries and hashbrowns had no seasonings. I wont be coming to this location again. I hyped this place up to my guests who were with me and just overall not happy with our food, service was good.
Ordered the Chicken enchiladas with calabacitas to go.They didn't put any chicken in the enchiladas and the calabacitas were watery and bland. Super gross. The rice was very undercooked and hurt my teeth. Never going back because everytime I give them a chance the food is either terrible or they get my order wrong.
Went to the Range on Rio Grande today for the Taco Tuesdays. Disappointed all the way around. 1. Service: Was seated at the booths opposite the bar. The lady who was our server was also tending bar. She spent more time taking care of the bar customers than she did the table customers, even though it appeared there was another gentleman working the bar also. 2. Food: Took my wife because she really likes shredded beef tacos. Instead of shredded beef tacos we were served "Chunks of Beef Tacos. I don't know if this was laziness on the cooks part or what but they were definitely not shredded beef. Attached are 2 pictures. One picture is what a shredded beef taco shoild look like and the other is of the Range's.
