No Name Bar Sausalito Reviews
Great place to chill out, have a drink and enjoy the vibe! The classic rock takes to back and fills your soul with a warm glow...I'm definitely returning next time I'm in town!
Great place for a drink and live music, I had the opportunity to see band Loveslaughter last night, and loved it. Can’t wait to see more. Plus the band gave out cool stickers & homemade cookies. awesome sound. Bartender was really cool too-great service.
If you like dive bars you need to be here. Bartender was excellent and a nice place to get cheap drinks and listen to some live music.
Hey Melissa and Sarah! It's yours truly 🥂🙋🏻♀️ I just had to pop in and share that this bar is awesome. The girls behind the bar whip up some superb cocktails. I had a taste of passion fruit vodka blended with Sprite and soda water - it's truly divine. The staff is super welcoming, and all in all, it's a fantastic spot. They even have a patio section for smokers, so I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. Big thanks for a fabulous time
Favorite of the locals with excellent live music and drinks that won't break the bank. They don't serve food but the atmosphere is very comfortable.
We were so happy to have stumbled into this gem of a bar on the main drag. It's unimposing and laid back vibe was much needed after strolling through uptight galleries and trendy gelato shops. The drinks are very good. I had two Moscow Mules, some of the best I've ever had. Service was fantastic.
Amazing old school bar with a cozy back patio. Definitely a locals spot. The live band was perfect.
No Name Bar is legitimately the most perfect bar in the Bay area. I walked in and immediately thought it was the platonic ideal of what a bar should be. There is a beautiful back garden area with sunlight streaming in if you are looking to quietly read a book; if you are more in the mood for company, you'll find the staff and regulars friendly and an absolute blast. Drinks are great, atmosphere is impeccable, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Cool little dive, usually live music, outside patio with heaters.
One of my favorite bars to gig at...great people in a small venue
Met great people both locals and tourists Bartender great!
**Review of a Bar in Sausalito, USA:** I recently had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful bar in Sausalito, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the incredibly friendly staff. The service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. Every request was met with a smile, and the staff consistently went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. What truly sets this bar apart is the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfectly complemented by the team’s courteous and accommodating demeanor. It feels like you’re more than just a customer here—you’re treated like a friend. Their recommendations were spot on, and both the drinks and the small bites we tried were absolutely delicious. All in all, I highly recommend this bar if you’re ever in Sausalito. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy top-notch hospitality. A big shoutout to the amazing team—I’ll definitely be back!
We had a great time grabbing some drinks here before dinner. It started as a quiet bar experience, but then our bartender struck up a great conversation with us which really helped us feel more at home while we were so far away from home. I'd definitely go again! P.S. they don't serve food. Not sure if you can bring food in.
An old fashioned neighborhood bar that has live music most Saturday nights. Arrived early and watched the band set up, at about 10pm the bar was crowded and people were dancing. Everyone was really friendly. I had a great time.
I love this place, and I’m a part of the music that is made there although the bouncer hates me even though I’ve been very kind to him and everyone in the house. It’s a complete bummer. 😔
All we had was pizza, but they were freshly made . Drinks great, absolutely wonderful atmosphere. My friend the bartender took great care of me. 2 👍🏼 up. If the owner remebers, he also took care of me.2 bottles. Please reach out if you can. Much love...
Great little place. Bartender was very friendly and the regulars gave great advice on the best places to eat. Stop in for a beer or 2 or just go to the overpriced, pretentious bars on the front end of the strip.

Live music every night. There is always a fun cast of characters in a fun social bar. I highly recommend coming here!! Also there is a back enclosed patio if you like to smoke :)

Nice vibe, good service. I wish they have more diverse beer selection. I can get that it may be hard to maintain more taps, but a few cases of different brews from a local breweries would not be a big burden. The liquor selection demonstrated a little more variety but still was very typical., Whiskey sour however, was really pleasant. Anyway, a decent place to have a break.
great locals bar. awesome patio out back, live music 6 days a week

I visited no name and had an unpleasant encounter regarding my service dog that left me feeling discriminated against. A staff member, pulled me aside to inform me that no dogs were allowed after 6 PM, and mentioned that “Hugo,” presumably a manager, would not permit dogs in the establishment, regardless of their service animal status. This is a clear violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), which mandates that businesses must allow service animals in all areas where customers are allowed to go. Denying access to a service animal, regardless of the time, is not compliant with federal law. Additionally, the way I was approached was inappropriate and embarrassing creating a lot of unnecessary anxiety and stress. The staff member singled me out, asked others to leave the room, and spoke to me privately as if I had done something wrong. My service dog was not bothering anyone, yet the staff member distracted him by coming close to his face, causing him to become visibly uncomfortable. She also claimed that my dog should be wearing a vest, which is incorrect. The ADA does not require service animals to wear a vest or specific identification. Moreover, I should not have to disclose or prove my disability to the world just to receive equal treatment. This experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, and I hope the management will take the necessary steps to educate their staff about the ADA laws concerning service animals so that no one else has to go through a similar experience in the future. To make matters worse, she not only mentioned this to me but also to others in the establishment, further singling me out. At no point did she ask if it was okay to interact with my dog, who is very protective and there to ensure my safety and well being. There were other patrons who wanted to say hello to my dog, but they respectfully asked for permission, allowing me to decide whether or not it was appropriate. This experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, and I hope the management will take the necessary steps to educate their staff about the ADA laws concerning service animals so that no one else has to go through a similar experience in the future. Just because my disability may not be visible does not mean it’s not there and do my best on a daily basis to function as best as I possibly could.
A Dive into the Belly of Sausalito's No-Name Psyche Some bars have names; some bars have history. And then there's the No Name Bar in Sausalito, where the distinction between the two gets murky after midnight, like the fog creeping over the Golden Gate or the half-empty whiskey tumblers lined up on the sticky bar top. The sign outside says nothing, and it’s just as well — because it doesn’t need to say a damn thing. There are bars for tourists and then there are bars for the natives. The No Name? That place is for survivors. Stepping inside is like slipping into a memory. The place smells like the backside of a guitar case — aged wood, beer, leather, and something faintly herbal lurking in the corners. It's dark. Good dark. The kind of dark that wraps you in, lets you hide your sins for a while. A red velvet curtain parts in the back, leading to a patio that is every bit as mythical as you'd hope, where local musicians wail into the night and haunt the neighborhood long after closing. There are no frills, no neon signs hawking the latest beer special. Here, you don't "order a drink" so much as you declare a need. Whiskey on ice? You'll get a heavy pour, none of that genteel nonsense. You pay cash or they give you the look — you know the one that says, "If you're running a tab here, buddy, you're running it with the Devil." The barkeep is as grizzled as the clientele, barely flinching when a few stray wanderers off the ferry stumble in, bewildered. They might get a glance, but not a welcome. This is Sausalito’s last stand, a rough-and-tumble sanctuary for old sailors, burned-out poets, artists between successes, and drifters who came to stay. At any hour, the place thrums with the low hum of conversation — murmured secrets, broken dreams, and the occasional grunt of appreciation as someone tears through a guitar solo. It’s a live music joint in the way that matters — no frills, just raw sound, wafting through cigarette smoke and bad decisions. You can almost hear the ghosts of Sausalito's past brushing up against the walls, a spectral council of bohemian madmen and renegades whispering to you, urging you to stay a little longer, have one more drink. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself here at closing time, you’ll know why they call it the No Name. It’s not just a name — or lack thereof. It’s a place that slips away from definition. You walk in with an identity, a few bucks, and a clear sense of self, and you stumble out as something else entirely, something not quite nameless but close. So if you find yourself in Sausalito, feel free to look it up. Or don’t. This place doesn’t care about your plans.
