Arthur's Market Schenectady Reviews
Great place and fantastic breakfast sandwich, tough to find parking but worth it! Would come back for sure.
We love this place in Schenectady and keep coming back whenever we're in town. Great breakfast selection, both sweet and savory, and great coffee! My only disappointment is that they told me the hot cider was seasonal.
Everything was good. But your hot chocolate was so small! It was SO good and yet I had a cup that reminded me of the drink cups from school. For the cost I would expect way more ounces.
We’d had a great breakfast sandwich and coffee here. Delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I envy those who can make this trip more often than we travelers.
Love this place. The food is amazing, the smells and warmth and very enticing. Savory lunch, sweet treats and good coffee. The staff always treats me with kindness and patience, the general vibe is very much that old-school cafe with quiet conversations and occasional bursts of activity. Grab a bite, bring a book and chill. Much love to this newly-ish renovated spot, they're doing something special here and it is worth checking out.
Lovely staff! …very important. Epic coffee and pastries. The quiches are fuego. 10/10 The atmosphere exudes a contemporary yet timeless feel, rooted in a European coffee shop tradition. A deep, charcoal-toned palette provides a modern backdrop for the centerpiece: a classic, well-crafted wooden counter. The counter is protected by a vintage-style glass case, offering a view of the baked goods and creating a connection to bakeries of the past. Below, the floor features a traditional black and white tiled pattern, which adds both visual interest and a nod to classic design. Accents of polished brass throughout the space introduce a touch of warmth and sophistication, elevating the otherwise rustic and contemporary elements. The overall effect is a space that feels both polished and cozy, combining the clean lines and functionality of contemporary design with the warmth and character of a more traditional, rustic space.
an adorable cafe with great drinks and an open, airy seating area. we ordered a strawberry lemonade, a matcha, an earl grey lemon loaf, and a fig and brie sandwich and sat at one of the large communal tables to enjoy our treats. there is plenty of seating, and a good mix of people socializing and people reading/working on their computers. they also sell locally made pantry goods as well as cold sandwiches and other food to go.
Walked in on a quiet Sunday morning and was glad to find this local gem. Drinks are seasonal and delicious, calm inviting atmosphere with regular community activities and a cute outdoor seating area. I have yet to try their baked goods but I plan to on my next trip!
This is our local coffee shop and we love the vibe and the neighborly atmosphere and human connection that happens between the employees and the patrons. The light roast black is my husband’s favorite. I always get a flavored latte. We love their quiches and their blueberry scones are to die for. Today I bought the most delightfully smelling bouquet of flowers that were being sold at the counter to put in our house for a visiting guest. Starting our mornings at Arthur’s is always a treat. PS: Open the drawers of one of the two seater tables and find some beautiful affirmations.
What an adorable place! Lots of tables, lots of items to buy, nice counter filled with baked goods, shelves with specialty teas and coffees. I tried a iced latte with blueberry and lavendar flavor. My friend had chicken salad and an iced matcha. Located in the Stockade District, so we took our drinks down to the water and then walked around a bit before we had to leave. Loved it, people there working on their computers. I would def go back again. Staff helpful and quick.
Nestled in the historic Stockade neighborhood in Schenectady this market place cafe has been a staple for the residents and whom ever finds their way into this delightful area. The current owners have done a great job with a wonderful cafe menu, patio space in the back and local market items to enjoy. It is wonderful space to relax with friends, get some work ideas smoothed out online or just watch life wiggle by. Welcoming staff and great food makes it must stop to enjoy in the Stockade. *Great area to Pokemon Go in.
Very hip place to meet and enjoy a great cup of coffee, bakes goods, or sandwhich. Service is fast and friendly. This is a small market that sells all kinds of items. You can get meat, milk, cheese, chocolate, coffee, cookies, and more. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and historical location. I will definitely be returning.
I’ve been here a few times now. I’ve gotten their lattes, festive cold brews, and pastries. LOVE that they make their own syrup. Their bacon scallion scone is amazing. The vibes in there are great too. Free WiFi, so working inside is viable. It may be hard to find a seat after 9:30am because there’s so many people working/studying in there. The little market area is also nice! I’ve never bought anything from there but it’s fun looking around. There’s also a bathroom in the building.
Super cute historic cafe in the middle of the Stockade. Absolutely ridiculously good hot chocolate. Pretty please do yourself a favor and swing by when you’re in town! Great service, food, drinks, snacks, and other local items. First image is the Hot Chocolate with a shot of espresso. Second image is the B.E.C and a drip coffee Light Roast. Everything is amazing, thank you!!
Decent food and pretty good service. The cookies were good but the muffin was cold, when I said this to the staff and asked for it to be warmed up she kindly said no. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese. It was warmed in the microwave since the exterior was hot but the middle was cold. Cute place to have a snack and work.
Highlight was the fresh strawberry lemonade. Group has a range of things including the turkey sandwich, ham sandwich, brie sandwich, and one of the salads. No one was disappointed. Got an array of baked good and the cinnamon roll was amazing.
I gave it three stars because I’ve had a lot of of good things over the years. Stop today and try the chicken wrap which was absolutely inedible so full of onions that I actually threw it out. Tried to call but no answer.
