A staple in the downtown Schenectady area. Food has always been great every time we order from them. Our order was never messed up, late, etc and we have ordered many times. Interior is for the most part clean and updated. Staff has always been friendly. Go get yourself some great pizza from one of the best in downtown Schenectady.

Just moved to the area, was looking to try a local pizza spot that’s close by. Pizza King is legit a 3 minute walk from my building. Start off with the staff who are extremely friendly and courteous. The gentleman who rang me out noticed I would have saved money if I ordered using the “special” so he adjusted the pricing and added the coupon which offered me a free soda and 4 garlic knots added to my order. To me, that means a lot. The man didn’t have to do anything as I wasn’t even aware of the special but he chose to do so. That speaks volumes to a business and its morals. As for the food, delish. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and a thing of mild buffalo wings. Both were amazing. The cheese on the pizza is definitely noticeable in a very good way. It’s different than big chains and even some other private places, definitely and a nice change up to actually notice a cheese flavor! Also the mild sauce for the wings are ON point. So to sum it up, very very good first experience with Pizza King. Will definitely be ordering here again soon! Also, just want to take moment and remind everyone during this rough and troublesome time we are dealing with due to the pandemic, it’s extremely important and I know not everyone is currently capable of ordering out BUT if you are able to afford to eat out: PLEASE keep it local. Remember the owners of these small businesses are members of OUR community and they need all the support they can get. They are open not only to survive, but they are offering food for others to survive.

Loved the crust but wasn't overwhelmed with the complete flavor of a slice with tomato. Didn't realize that it didn't have tomato sauce too though or I would've made another choice. Actually, there's so many options but it's a guess what many are and I don't eat meat. I'd try this spot again!

This is pretty much my go to pizza spot in Schenectady. I'm never disappointed. I haven't tried any of their specialty pizzas, though I'm intrigued. Every 2 or 3 weeks I get a cheese or pepperoni pie and some wings, and the quality is always consistent. When asked this is the place I always recommend for pizza.

Lunch time is crazy here, but worth it. Been a few times and recently tried again as the last time I was here was before the world went crazy. The pizza is royalty but I'd rate it a Duke instead of a King. The wings were really good also. Crisp and juicy and the mdeium sauce had a slight sweetness to it. The place looked clean and it's definately big. Staff was competent and friendly. If you are in Schenectady give it a try. My nephew claims this place is the best piuzza in all the lands.

I usually have chicken ranch, learned a lesson yesterday. I tried some pizza with hamburger and cheese on it. I got severe food poisoning throwing up etc, severe stomach pains about 1/2 hour after we ate. I almost passed out i was so sick. As soon as i threw up it was 95% better. It wasnt the chicken ranch because its so popular its getting refreshed constantly, it had to be the other pizza maybe out all day. If they dont sell after couple hours they should becreplacing them

I come for the hot buffalo it’s delicious but they never have it. Sadly I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked in and walked out and they don’t have my hot buffalo. I’m not eating. I went there at 12 o’clock today. No hot buffalo pizza. they said it’s been busy? They didn’t make a whole hot buffalo all day today. I don’t know if I’ll have time to stop here next time.

Pizza was dry. There was barely any sauce on it. I got 2 slices of pizza and I’m halfway through one slice and I can’t eat anymore. I’m throwing the rest out. I got the meat lovers deep dish and it clearly has been sitting in the window all day. I won’t be coming back. Waste of money

my order on grubhub and my order is never ready for pickup. they don’t warm until i get there and i only have a 30 minute lunch. 10 of which i spend walking there. wish they would have my order ready like all of the other places on Jay St do. Additionally, I ordered 1 slice pepperoni, 1 slice sausage. They didn't have any sausage, so the took a slice of cheese, sprinkled sausage on it, and heated it up. When i picked that slice up, the sausage fell off right away. Not sure why they think that's okay to do.

I don’t think they could use any cheaper ingredients than what they are using . It shows in the taste!!!! How about producing quality food, instead of price gouging garbage. This pizza is nearing the worst in Schenectady. What a shame, I do not recommend to anyone

Why so dirty?…no really…it’s not busy here nearly ever. They never prep food ahead of time…trays from past customers stand towering on every trash can, tables covered in crumbs…what? What? What are the employees doing?..disgusting.

I don’t know who decided chicken tenders belong in a chicken parm sandwich, but they owe me an apology. This sandwich tasted like someone gave up halfway through making it. I won’t be returning — once was more than enough. I did not even finish the sandwich.

I spent about an hour searching for the best pizza on DoorDash and decided to try Pizza King based on its good reviews and higher price point. When it arrived, I immediately noticed it looked different from the photos, but I was still excited to try it. After my first slice, I was shocked by how bland it tasted..it definitely wasn’t worth $30 and didn’t live up to being the most expensive pie on DoorDash. Still hungry, I went for a second smaller slice, only to find a hair baked into the pizza. At first, I thought maybe it was mine, but when I tried to remove it, I realized it was embedded under the cheese and into the dough. That’s when I started gagging.I’m beyond disappointed. For the price, I expected something at least edible, but this was the exact opposite. Never again will I order from “Pizza King.” Honestly, I could make a better pizza at home. Btw, the WHOLE pizza went to the trash after the hair.
