Blvd Diner Sunnyside Reviews
Food is Great service very friendly and professional. I bring my family for breakfast and dinner all the time I enjoy the place. I enjoy eating here
✨ In love with diner vibes and even more in love with the food @blvddiner 💛 I ordered the Swiss cheese egg white omelet with avocado and hash browns — and wow, it did not disappoint. The omelet was light, flavorful, and not greasy at all, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy without being overpowered by onions. Just chef’s kiss! 👌🥑🧀 Millions of thanks for the best omelet and my hats off to the cook!! @blvddinersunnyside — you’ve officially earned a loyal customer for life! 💫🍳 #DinerLove #BreakfastGoals #SunnysideEats
I was extremely pleased with the service, the food, and the ambiance. I was able to enjoy a good (reasonably) priced meal in a peaceful (restaurant vibes) sunday morning. Clean tables, great customer service, good food. I will definitely be returning more often.
French toast was pretty good. The eggs were tasty, and the ham was a bit salty but enjoyable. Staff was very kind and quick to take your order, and the food came out within 10 min after I ordered. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Not busy the midweek morning when we went. Ample booth and table seating. Large menu. I liked that there is a variety ie of egg benedicts, etc. Went for Fig and goat cheese omelet, with potatoes and toast - very good. My husband got the Irish breakfast - large portion so he just had 1/2 of the proteins. Free refills for coffee. Restrooms are downstairs. We got metered street parking; 7 train along Queens Blvd.
A better improvement over what was Foxy’s diner. Service was great, food was better than the previous place. Only downside today was that their credit card readers were down so you had to pay with cash. But other than that I was happy to have brunch here today. Will return more often.
Sysco truck seen hauling food into diner. Eat at your own discretion. Service was great though, which is why it's not 1 star.
Used to love this place. Had dinner tonight, a burger. Got my check was gonna pay with a card. Waitress ran my card and gave me the bill to sign. It was 66 cents more than her tab. I asked why the difference. Her flippant reply: "I don't know, you can call them". Not even a thank you a walked out. Quite rude. It'll be a long time before I go back.
Sad. The house fries are almost like mashed potatoes. The bread quality is very poor, and very little effort overall on the plate. Would not recommend…
Food was horrible, the pastrami sandwich was microwaved cold cuts with toasted stale bread. My wife's food didn't taste right, none of it did. The food was so bad me and my wife left it. We were scared we were going to get sick. The food was really bad. Almost traumatic.
For this place to have 4 stars, people are being generous. Or I really just caught it on the worst day. I walked in with a friend and it was empty, when the food came I figured out why. I had nachos, never in my life have I had been served burned nachos. They were extremely toasted and the edges were burnt burnt. I ordered steak nachos, it barely had any steak. A taco would have more steak than these nachos. My friend didn’t like her order either, and said it was half cooked.
The food was not good. We ordered French toast and it was incredibly stale. Home fries had no veggies just potato and a hint of onions. The guy seated behind us was already being served alcohol in the morning. Wouldn’t go back. Going to Pete’s diner next time.
