Harry's Bar Syracuse Reviews
Harry's is a tradition... the bar tenders are great. I used to go here when I was attending college here. The owner John is a great guy. Couldn't get any nicer. Me and my boy RAP#34 had a great time here. We just drank beers but the prices were very reasonable.
It's Harry's if you know you know!
Owner (John) went the extra mile to go above and beyond. Awesome service and kind people
Cool place, DJ was good, skiball, no darts but whatever I dont really even like darts. 10/10

One major issue with Harry’s Bar is the apparent lack of responsibility when it comes to enforcing age restrictions. There have been consistent reports that the bouncers are allowing underage women into the venue, which not only violates legal regulations but also creates serious ethical and safety concerns. By turning a blind eye to ID checks or prioritizing looks over legality, the staff are putting both the patrons and the business at risk. This kind of negligence undermines the integrity of the establishment and contributes to a party culture that’s unsafe and unaccountable. Bars have a legal and moral obligation to create a safe environment for all guests — and that starts with following the law.
Harry's is near the college campus. The atmosphere is lively, and it definitely draws in a younger crowd. However, I have some serious concerns that I feel compelled to share. While it's clear that the bar aims to create an enjoyable environment for students, it seems to cater heavily to minors. I've heard several stories about underage patrons consuming alcohol, including last night where an under age Syracuse student was rush away in ambulance for alcohol poisoning. This is a serious issue that cannot be overlooked. It seems the management at Harry's prioritizes their profits over safety, especially for younger individuals who may not fully understand their limits. Enforcing age restrictions more strictly and providing education on responsible drinking could make a significant difference. I left feeling uneasy about the safety of some of the patrons. I hope to see improvements in the future. Until then, I will think twice before returning.
