Uncorked Tahoe City Reviews
What a great selection of wine. The gentleman behind the bar was really helpful and knowledgeable. A cozy place to sit and taste wine.
Great wines available located in a cute space! I loved the Pinot Noir. My husband loved a red from Sicily! Bartender did let him sample it before his full pour too. Will be back!
Great selection of wines, always love visiting and having a few hours here. The lady who served us was very knowledgable !
Ox was very helpful in a variety of ways. Will definitely come back, multiple times.

Didn’t eat here, just did a wine tasting and loved the cute ambiance. Ox was an excellent host and he made us feel so welcomed! Would come back!
Fun place. Great bartender. You can have flights of wine or a glass of wine or a whole bottle of wine to take with you. Will definitely return next time I'm in Tahoe City.
Amazing wines, awesome service. Katherine is so so amazing - exceptional personality, super knowledgeable, and very funny. Definitely a Tahoe gem :)
Nice spot to stop in if you're wondering around Tahoe city, and want a glass or two. Comfy bar to sit at, that is well decorated, and only a couple of hundred yards for Lake Tahoe.
Large wine selection, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Great place to stop by if you would like a drink before the movie at the nearby art-house cinema or after dinner!

Went summer of ‘19 and loved the atmosphere. The service was super friendly with good wine recs and a solid selection of petite producers.

You walk in, you feel ambiance. The place was a bit understaffed with only one worker who took a while to notice we were there due to the crowd, but once we were sat the service was great and the wine was delicious with generous portions.

Uncorked is off the Main Street of downtown. Nice little find this was the perfect stop for a drink and snack before dinner. The wine flight is a great deal and I really enjoyed all three of my wines! We got two cheese plates for the group, one with meat and one without. While at first glance the portions seemed small, the plate ended up being the perfect amount for two people to split before dinner. Staff were incredibly kind and very helpful with picking our wine, and we'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink and a snack! Love the ambiance, service and food! I'll be back!
Cute little shop to have a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly. They have a few food items. The wine is definitely on the expensive/luxurious side.
A smaller place, and the guy working there seemed very knowledgeable about the wines and our questions. There's nothing "special" about this place, but I recommend stopping in if you're a wine drinker.

It was ok. I wouldn’t be back though. You can’t sit at the bar comfortable because the chairs are too low. They don’t have people working in the kitchen, so the bartender opens the cooler, cuts the cheese and charcuterie at the bar. The plate didn’t look appetizing but I can’t blame him because it shouldn’t be his job. I asked for a fork and he said they don’t have forks, he said it’s finger food. I was like where the hell am I😅😅😅

Have been many times. We like boating here. Good location in Tahoe City. Pretty good bottle selection. Pretty terrible by the glass experience... You can't try anything. People came in, their wine had clearly turned. Server wouldn't get them something different. Beer selection is good. Will never go back.

In a completely empty bar on a Wednesday afternoon, staff would not let me sit solo at the back of the bar by the window. She said she had “people coming”. For the whole bar?? If so, close and say “private party”. And, last I checked, I am “people”. I had already explicitly asked if they were open because it was early and it was so empty and she did not look up when I walked in. She smirked, pointed at the open sign on the front door and said “the sign says open doesn’t it…” When I asked to sit at the bar she seemed annoyed. I know it’s subjective but the gal smirked and looked annoyed every time I asked a question. I detected an unwelcoming vibe and left. For Tahoe wine bar prices, there are lots of spots that know they are in the hospitality business. Uncorked Tahoe City is not one of them. I see now why the place was so empty.
Not customer centric. Will not allow the customer to try wine before purchasing a glass. Seems like you just need to guess. Also some wine had already gone bad and they won't acknowledge. The customer is always wrong here.
The food and wine are good. The bartender was nice but at the same very passive aggressive and created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. Also, turn off the TV, that takes away from the experience. No one wants to watch Comedy Central while they try to have a wine and dine experience.
Dear people of color don’t bother coming to this establishment. We got a table and waited for the two men to finish helping in going orders. Another customer just walked in and was immediately greeted at the bar by a man with reddish brown facial hair. He continued to service the table next to us and the family at the counter next to us. He ignored us. We didn’t get the menu like the white man who recently walked in. We were not acknowledged. They didn’t apologize when I mentioned were leaving because we were not getting service. Racism at its best. No service due to our color of our skin. Racism still exists even though they are not calling us names.
Illegal- denied me of being at the palisades location because of my service animal. It is ok to have a no dogs policy, but it is not legal to deny someone with a disability and who has a service animal for that disability. When I told them this, they said they are aware and have brought that up to the manager who is aware but has a strict policy and won't allow service dogs- illegal and embarrassing and upsetting for me. Hope others don't go here with the same issues to experience what I did
