Great place, I've been at different days of the week this entire month, always something interesting going on. Good entertainment, great beer, and the usually have a beer special too. Really clean place, good variety of beers, the staff is really welcoming very efficient and attentive. Maybe my new favorite hang out when i am in Torrance.

We were visiting town and looking for a dog friendly brewery to check out. We had been to the Project Barley at Redondo Pier and enjoyed their beers. I knew the pier wasn't dog friendly so we decided to visit this location. There was plenty of dog friendly places to sit. There was plenty of inside seating as well. We had the wings and the chicken salad. The wings were so tasty, crispy, and sauced perfectly. We had a key lime sour and a ddh dipa. Overall a solid spot if you're in the area looking for good wings.

Went here for a soft opening with members of Barley Brent, Jason & Nate taking turns and doing an acoustic set. This place has a warm at home feel, this is a great addition to the other 2 Barley tasting rooms.. Sure to be music and fun happening, same as the other two locations. Went back last night and saw Nate play.. I do know it's Barley Square and a different type of brewery but I do wish that they had a selection of their beers from the Lomita brewery..

Project Barley is a chill spot. I’ve been here a bunch of times for their live country music every other Wednesday. The atmosphere is cozy with the fireplace and love seats. The owners are super friendly and they have a fantastic beer selection. My personal favorite is the Shandy. They also have some picnic tables outside and a really cool vintage fireball pinball machine!

We were recommended to try Yorkshire Square Brewing while visiting breweries in Torrance. The moment they said Yorkshire focuses on cask conditioned ales, we had to check it out. Walking in it's very warm and welcoming; preparing you for the amazing beer they serve. There were 11 beers when we were there, with most on cask and all of them were amazing. They had a few also on CO2 for variation that we had to try. The cask versions we're superior. The staff is very personable and knowledgeable about their craft. All in all, a must visit while in Torrance! If you haven't been you are missing out!

Such a fun brewery to go to after work. I usually get their lomita after dark. Trivia night is good as well. Not related to the bar but be careful of her, Daelien. She tends to lurk around the area for aerospace men.

I have been coming to Yorkshire Square off and on for four years. This is the only spot around the area regularly serving proper English cask ales. The dark mild and pub bitter are consistently top quality. They have the best fish and chips I've had in California as well. While other nearby breweries get the hype, this is the spot to visit for classic styles hardly anyone else serves.

Came here with my family to enjoy a nice dinner. We got a seat outside on a bench. I loved the fish and chips. The fish was very crispy and the chips had a good crunch. The beer selection was good, there were a lot of variety and they tasted well. It took a bit of a wait but they way more than accommodated us and made sure we left happy and full. The sliders hit heavy too so you'll be full. Can't wait to try a scotch egg next time.

Really good food & beer! I got the fish n chips, bacon wrapped hot dog sliders and gravy fries 🍟. The beer, I got the brown ale and the key lime sour, was awesome 😎!

It’s hard to find cask ale these days and I can’t get enough of it. Project Barley Square features locally brewed cask ale on tap! Big shout out to the fish and chips to get the full English pub experience.

First time visiting this place on a Thursday night; the place has a nice ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are nice and they make good recommendations. We ordered 2 Fish and Chips, it tasted great.. no wonder it is their best seller. If you love English beers, this is the place to go.

I love this place!! The food is absolutely delicious as well as the beer!! They have the best fish and chips, sliders and cole slaw! I'm not typically a beer drinker, but they got something going on here to where I really appreciate the tastes of their ales..even the strong ones!! Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays they have live music from 5-7pm which is a true delight! I highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great spot in Torrance. The outdoor seating is protected by the wind and the wait staff is on top of their game. The beers were delicious and the food was on point. I would recommend stopping here on your brewery tours of Torrance.

Solid beer offerings. Hand pulled and draft. Food is still the delicious food it was pre pandemic. Really glad Yorkshire made it through. Looking forward to watching some football ⚽ games soon.

I really enjoy coming to this brewery with my family. The female employee serving drinks is always incredibly kind to my wife, kid and in-laws. Food is not bad and the fries are tasty. The place is easy to find and parking is simple. I enjoy their outdoor patio as it allows my 2 year-old to explore. I enjoy the English style of their pours and look forward to trying more beers here in the future.

Our latest stop on the tour of Torrance breweries. We had been looking forward to coming here for a while, and really enjoyed it. We got a flight of their English style craft brews, and the results were kind of mixed. I was really looking forward to the Water Upon Sea, and it was just alright. The barley wine was a standout for me. What really elevated this place was the food and atmosphere. They have created quite a cozy space in this warehouse brewery, with dining areas inside and out. The food was really excellent. I recommend the tri tip sandwich. We ate outside, and it was very pleasant. They also have a fireplace to cozy up beside, and they offer some board games to keep you entertained. This is definitely a good place to check out, or add as a stop on your Torrance pub crawl.

Came here on the recommendation of other local breweries and was not disappointed. Cool space aiming for a British pub feel, and the beer reflects that. Cask offerings are the way to go, and flights or full pours are available. Beers were good, new food menu looks pretty solid as well. Worth visiting.

A proper British style pub with proper British style brews; I tasted four in a flight, and they were all solid ales. My only gripe is that the kitchen wasn't open when I got there, so had to go somewhere else to eat, and thus I wasn't able to try their proper British style pub food. One notable feature is the self-serve water tap; you have to see it for yourself (though I'm uploading a helpful picture).

Only had the tots, but they were crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. They were appropriately salted, well made. The beer was interesting tasting. The west coast & session hazy had a sweetness to them that started off intriguing, but seemed a little off to me by the end of the glass. I prefer a dank IPA. Loved the blueberry tart though!

The fries tasted like the fry oil is burnt, bad The bun on my burger, burnt bad my beer was perfect I would give zero stars but what for. The beer was good

Four stars because they still haven't fully ended their cask ale program. The focus seems to have shifted away, however. They only have 3 cask beers on at any given time (per the bartender), and when I visited there were no pub bitter, mild, or porter options. Just two brown ales and a pale ale. Wine, cocktails, and draft beer dominate the board. Everything (except the cask beers, thankfully) was being served in disposable plastic cups, unfortunately. It's not a great way to enjoy a beer, even if you don't care about the environmental impact. Maybe it was related to the music event going on out front. I can't comment on any of the food because I'm a weirdo vegetarian and wasn't in the mood for a black bean burger or salad, but those two options exist if you are in the same boat.

I had a draught beer and the fish and chips. The beer was passable; about what I expect, from Project Barley. Shamefully, they were down to only two cask beers, on a Saturday night. Somebody needs to make sure that doesn't happen again. The fish was absolutely fabulous. Thick, heavy cuts, tasty breading, and cooked to perfection. Sadly, the chips were scraggly and overall disappointing. The tender, thick cut fries of Yorkshire Square were entirely superior. Lastly, the vibe was good, as always. The spot is comfortable, inside and out, the staff was great, and the live music was cool.
