Gonzales Via Augusto Franzoj Reviews
The water aerobics class with CFS is highly recommended for anyone who wants to exercise in a pleasant environment with a friendly, empathetic, and competent instructor like Daniela, who makes us feel at ease while also being professional. Doriana is also always available and attentive, and a shout-out to Alessandra, who collaborates and often joins us😅. Thank you 🤗❣️
After many years, I returned to the Franzoj pool for an hour's swim. I really appreciated the facility: a pleasant, clean, and well-maintained environment.
The lifeguards are excellent, polite, and attentive to the rules. Beachgoers should calm down more and be more polite to the staff.
A little corner of serenity in your hectic life...if you enjoy tranquility and also want to practice swimming, this pool is for you!
The pool is very nice and clean, both the water and the changing rooms. The staff at the entrance are friendly and professional. The bar has a wide selection and the staff are friendly. The only downside is the lifeguards.
I returned to this pool after many years and noticed many improvements, and I had a great time. There's also a well-stocked bar with a lovely outdoor area with tables and umbrellas. The pools are very clean with crystal-clear water. The outdoor showers also have hot water, while the indoor showers are all new, as are the hair dryers. There are plenty of restrooms. I'll definitely be back.
Impeccable municipal staff. Kind and empathetic. Immaculately clean pool, recently renovated common areas. Attentive lifeguards. Peaceful afternoons swimming under the blue sky. Summer 2025 at Franzoj is a real treat.
A clean pool; the staff are attentive to cleanliness, in fact, they make you change your shoes before entering the pool itself. It's true that there are no slides, but for €5.40 per person, you can be sure of a day spent soaking up the sun and enjoying the cool water. Surrounded by greenery, you can find shade during the hottest hours of the day. It has a bar...I recommend it.
It’s clean. Has a good price.
Affordable, clean, supervised swimming pool, compulsory use of a swimming cap, shower before entering, slippers, equipped with a bar even if this year a little expensive and not very well equipped, possibility of staying on the lawn or on the ground, possibility of taking a deckchair for €3 with the document, very crowded, excellent for families, a swimming pool for children and one for adults, no slides, no diving
It features two swimming pools, one shallow for children, and a nice green area surrounding it. Lounge chairs are available at reasonable prices. There are no umbrellas, but there are trees.
I'm a tourist from the UK. I find it a bit odd that in Italy you seem to close so many covered pools in the summer - that's just when people like me, who are scared of getting burnt, need them most! Having said that, this is a nice pool, with enough space both for lap swimmers and those who just want to relax and play. Yes, it's a bit old, a typical municipal pool, but that's part of its charm. Worth the long walk or bus ride from the centre of town if there's nowhere nearer!
Aside from the ticket office being a bit slow, the outdoor pool with three lanes is good for swimming. The pool is shallow for children. The sun lounger service is good. The garden area could perhaps be improved, as very rude and uncivilized guests leave behind tons of cigarette butts. The changing rooms are simple but clean.
A highly respectable municipal facility. Overall, it's well-maintained, fun, and open, with a pool for both children and adults, the latter of which is heated. The maximum number of people is strictly respected, and signs are posted at the showers for responsible use of precious water. It's beautiful to watch the aircraft fly over silently as they land at the nearby flying club. A great place to swim and spend a few hours outdoors, ending the day with a drink at the on-site bar, run by a very kind couple, Ivan and Valentina. It's a shame about Giovanna, a skilled and professional lifeguard and pool manager. Her unkind and overly authoritative approach in managing and explaining the facility's internal rules generates discontent, criticism, and anger among those seeking a bit of relaxation. It's true, there are certainly rules and they must be respected, but no one knows them, and they're not posted anywhere in their entirety. Giovanna: A smile and a kind attitude toward someone who has unknowingly made a mistake are never too much, as is a little common sense and healthy tolerance, as the other "red vests" do. Otherwise, it would have deserved 5 stars.
Nice pool, state staff (they don't kill themselves working), even too many people (paid by taxpayers) for the required tasks.
Neither good nor bad. Clean, refreshing in the summer heat, but it all depends on how you use it. I go swimming, so it's great that it's open in August, but it's a shame that people who come to spend the day at the pool are constantly crossing the two lanes reserved for swimming. It's annoying to ask for a kickboard, only to have it disappear when it's time for your workout because someone else has taken it. Lots of kids, but it's not their fault if they don't follow the rules. Let's just say I've almost hurt myself more than once, because when I swim, I swim, and I don't expect to find two kids playing in the middle of the lane. A little more attention to those who pay full admission to stay an hour would be appreciated... considering that I don't swim intensively in the areas reserved for those who want to sunbathe and cool off, I'd appreciate the same attention...
Suitable for two or three hours of undemanding water time. There's little shade, so if you plan on having lunch here and it's crowded, be aware that you'll have to stay in the sun. Not recommended for small children. Otherwise, for a morning or afternoon, it's perfect, as there are two pools, one 70 cm deep, the other between 1 and 1.70 meters deep. There's an indoor bar, and sun loungers are available for a fee (€3.10). Smoking area.
Management of the facility and its lifeguards was sloppy, irrelevant, biased, inappropriate, and lacking fairness. Management has proven inappropriate, invasive, and destabilizing. A shamefully managed pool that hosts insane swimmers, without carefully intervening to understand the reality of the situation. A complaint would be useful and appropriate. My advice: don't come to this pool, run by terrible, unqualified, inappropriate, disrespectful, and biased individuals. Time passes, but nothing improves; in fact, respect for the customer is zero.
If I could, I'd give it a -10, zero respect, zero manners, zero slides, zero diving. Nothing at all, the pool is overrated even though no one goes there. They kicked us out the first hour we went in the pool; we were first in line, and then we were the first to leave. They didn't even give us our money back.
One of the ugliest swimming pools in Turin, poorly managed (especially by a lifeguard who has been there for 20 years), too taxing, without the slightest common sense. Furthermore, the largest pool, the one without lanes, to my amazement, is only for children. Which is not specified anywhere before entering. Furthermore, it is mandatory to take a shower before arriving in the garden area, which in reality should be mandatory before entering the pool area, which is not the case. So it doesn't make any sense at all. I repeat, poorly managed, people at the entrance very rude and frustrated. Not even a smile or accommodating the customer. In Turin and its surroundings there are better swimming pools. I won't be returning
