Savurè Via Bernardino Galliari Reviews
PRO'S: Savure' Pasta is a restaurant committed to pasta. Full selection of fresh made pasta to combine with many sauces. We came for a pasta class to learn important regional dishes. Each course was fully explained and served with regional wines. CON'S: None SUMMARY: Savure' is an excellent place to learn authentic Italy regional dishes.
The waitresses greet and treat you with a stone cold attitude, so maybe an off day? The starters maybe could do with tweaking as nothing jumps out to you, but the raw sausage and bruschetta was okay. The coffee was really nice, with a ginseng espresso which I expected to be small and cappuccino which was relatively in small cup also ordered. Mains The carbonara was pretty nice, fresh pasta and not “hard” as others have described. The bolognese was okay at best, with the pasta being the highlight, and the meat element very scarce. I didn’t get dessert as I feel the restaurant had already put me in a bit of a mood, and I wanted to just get out of the environment. But from the ones I saw coming out, they did look delicious. Last thing to add is that the environment is a bit cramped also, but I didn’t mind too much, but keep in mind if you’re bothered about that sort of thing.
Good for the price, but nothing exceptional. My carbonara was a bit too salty and had a hard piece that hurt my tooth. I would also have preferred regular bread to pick up the sauce, rather than the chips.
They added additional food that we didn’t order. The food was average. Overall just for food the place is ok, but if you want to enjoy, I recommend other places. Bonus points for tiramisu - it was great.
