Pizzeria San Francesco Via Campi Reviews
Old school rustic pizzeria that has been operating since 1978 In terms of Food: Thus pizzeria serves Roman style Pizza; very thin dough and when cooked the edges become crispy maybe slightly charred as well. Very different dough compared to Neapolitan pizza of course .. yet very delicious & light In terms of Service: staff is friendly and welcoming In terms of Atmosphere informal and classic Will definitely become a regular customer! my pizza margherita cost 6 euro The menu is written on the board and prices range from 6-10 euro
Excellent pizza. Relaxed, family atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
I've been walking past this place for at least 40 years, and I've promised myself I'll try it; and now that I've moved nearby, I've already been there three times in just a few days! First of all, it has the feel of a simple trattoria, but not the desire to recreate the atmosphere of times gone by, nor the rusticity of some inland taverns... just people who do their job without presumption, but very well! The first time we had a plate of cured meats, of great quality, accompanied by a warm white focaccia, then a pizza and a calzone: the dough is neither the very thin Roman style nor the soft Neapolitan style, in fact, it looks a bit too "biscuit-like," but instead it has the right mix of crispiness and flakiness, plus a generous amount of top-quality toppings. There's a limited selection of beers, but the craft beer option immediately became my favorite! Prices are aligned; perhaps the secluded location might make you think you're spending less, but with an appetizer, pizza, and beer, we're always between €25 and €30, with dessert over €30. In any case, you leave satisfied and, above all, relaxed, which is the best digestive :)
The best pizza ever! Friendly, fast, and courteous! Close to home, top!
To be honest, it's been a while since I've been to this pizzeria, but I was truly delighted to once again find a warm welcome and truly fantastic pizza... you rarely get to eat pizza like this!!!
Excellent pizza and friendly staff not to be missed
Not so much for the location, which is very modest and has 1970s-style decor, but for the crispy, thin-crust pizza, the ingredients, and the kindness of the owners, who, despite the impact of the red zone imposed by the Morandi Bridge, have reopened with peace of mind. Best wishes for continued success, and... we'll be back!
Excellent pizza and great service in a simple but welcoming place.
Despite so much adversity (the Morandi Bridge is just a stone's throw away), Pizzeria San Francesco holds firm. This is thanks to the owner and the deliciousness of his pizzas, loaded with fresh ingredients and well-leavened dough. A good selection of beers. Excellent value. Simple atmosphere.
A simple pizzeria in a friendly atmosphere, offering delicious pizzas and excellent draft beers. The owner is an expert pizza chef who makes his pizza dough "the old-fashioned way," using genuine ingredients, and never disappoints. The girls serving are friendly and welcoming.
Locale che ha qualche anno ...ma...pizza davvero ottima...una delle migliori della vallata senza dubbio...prezzi giusti e qualità delle materie prime ottima Oltre a una ipa alla spina molto beverina
Simple, welcoming, and friendly. The pizza is good, the beer is decent. The location deserves to be highlighted (it's 150 meters from the Morandi Bridge disaster). The service is friendly and attentive. For a relaxing evening.
This is our third time at San Francesco. The pizza is excellent, both in terms of dough and ingredients. The atmosphere is a bit dated but clean and tasteful. Courtesy and smiles welcome you and set you up for a pleasant and relaxing evening. This is especially true when you show up at a somewhat unusual hour, like 10:00 PM. We'll be back.
An old-fashioned place. Good, easy-to-digest pizza, with generous, quality toppings. Excellent value. A gem in a rather dull Certosa.
Everything is delicious
A slightly retro pizzeria. Good pizza, thin crust for my taste. Quick service and friendly staff. Overall, I'll be back.
Average pizzeria, a good choice for an evening out, but I'm sure there are better pizza options, in my opinion. The staff is friendly and the place is okay; the pizza dough was crispy, which is fine. What I don't agree with is the almost nonexistent flavor of the ingredients and the tomato; they had very little flavor. In any case, the bill was good, and I'd go back.
