We made a quick stop off our route to checkout The Pump House. We were on our way to Port Aransas, but this restaurant piqued my interest after looking at the menu. It was such a cool space that was totally unexpected as we pulled up to it. It’s pretty enough on the outside, it could absolutely be used for a photo op! The waitress was fantastic and so attentive. All four of us ordered different things and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone going through Victoria!

I came for lunch and sat outside which was beautiful with the river view. It wasn’t very busy which was nice. I ordered the grilled salmon with asparagus. It was excellent. The asparagus were huge, very juicy on the inside and with a good crunch. The salmon was grilled to perfection. I was too hungry to take a photo of the food. They an adorable Russian blue cat on the property. I saw them on my way out taking a little nap. So cute!

We had the pecan crusted chicken, citrus dill salmon, and fried pickle dip. Food was amazing, vibe was great, our server was really nice, and as a bonus there were some cute cats outside!

We went there on a suggestion of a friend knowing we'd pass close to Victoria, and we certainly didn't regret it. Outside seating offers great views of the Guadalupe River. The food was very tasty, the service was excellent and the prices didn't seem too high based on the location and the higher end look of the establishment.

Husband and went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first time there. We went during the week. The pump house is beautiful. When you walk into the pump house, it's like going back into time. I love the high ceilings and beautiful lighting. Oh, I should talk about the food. It's so delicious that I had braised ribs over grits. Right, I thought the same thing. What's a grit, and does it taste good? Well, let me tell you, it was so delicious. As, I said they serve large portions, I took left overs home. It was delicious the next day too.

Our waitress honestly made the whole experience that much better! I wish I remembered her name, but she was seriously so sweet and attentive! I ordered the Mac n Cheese balls and they didn't taste fresh so they were okay like a 6/10. I also got a lavender blueberry mimosa, SO GOOD 10/10! For my entrée I got the grilled fish tacos which were pretty solid 8/10 and it was a big portion. The atmosphere outside was so pretty and I love how there's cats all around!

Really cool environment. Food was tasty, loved that they had a complete gluten free menu. It was quite the wait time for the food to arrive. Also very pricey for what you receive. Wait staff was friendly and polite. Not for those who have an issue with echos and noise level, it's quite loud inside. Good for an occasional visit.

Pretty good overall, though greasier than expected. I was hoping the spicy pecan crusted chicken would be spicy or pecan crusted, but it seemed like greasy fried chicken with a few pecans on it. Definitely no spice. Really liked a couple of the apps though. Good service and decent cocktails. Nice atmosphere

It's a great place on the river. Great views. The food is good and tasty. It's a little pricey but expected for the view The waitress was sweet but never came back to check on us until we were ready to go. We were the only ones in the patio and probably 3 others inside. It was 3 pm. Be careful of the cats and flies. We drove 92 miles. It was not a nice experience

Food was excellent! I visited this restaurant years ago and couldn’t wait to come back. I was disappointed that all my favorites had been removed from the menu and the service was terrible. Our waitress kept disappearing and was really really slow. I expect a much higher level of service at this price point. I hope the bring back goddess. I highly recommend the beef bruschetta and pecan crusted chicken. The fried green tomato sandwich was also excellent.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last Sunday, having heard great things about their Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, 10/10. However, the food and service were extremely disappointing. We spent over an hour and a half there, not by choice, but due to the incredibly slow service. Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was incorrect and cold. It also took nearly 15 minutes for my husband to receive a bottled Coors Light. Our server mentioned, “Sorry, your beer is sitting up at the bar, but I just got a new table and haven’t had the chance to grab it.” This is supposed to be one of the nicest restaurants in Victoria, but you can certainly find better service and food at a local dive bar. We left wishing we had never spent our time and money there.

great service! however, the food did not impress me. the portions were small for the price. $80 for the salmon & the meatloaf. the meatloaf only came with 3 slices of meatloaf, a little scoop of mashed potatoes and a heaping serving of fried okra. think they tried to make up with the lack of meatloaf and MP with okra. $30 for one blue moon, a mojito & a house pinot. the best part of the experience was Spot
