Memorial Dining Hall Waco Reviews
what can I say? nice food nice place !
Very good food and very diverse.
Currently the best dining hall in Baylor.
Best cookies ever!
Every employee is friendly. This dining hall is extremely clean and well stocked. Our favorite staple is the flying saucers (custom made burritos) and the fresh chocolate chip cookies...always served with a smile!!
Unfortunately I didn't have the California rolls today, but overall I always have a good experience. The staff is so nice and helpful! Just opened again after summer and the Indian food today was good, but bring the spice Baylor!!!
Many options to pick for food. Veg n non-veg options are available here. Mexican, American, Pizza and Chinese food options are also available. Ice cream and other desserts too. Coffee is also there. Simple and good food for a treat. Good place for the gathering at Baylor University.
Flying saucer with guac is absolutely glorious. I would also recommend throwing some nacho cheese sauce on top after they cook it
Great food!
Favourite dining hall! Great service and beautiful interior.
Hi! I’m a a graduate student, and it’s my first year at Baylor. I usually go to pendland, but thought I’d give memorial a try also. Great greeting at the door, and the food was very good. However, I was getting food from the left side of the foodcourt, and had thought the food was self service as almost all the workers were ignoring me and carrying on a conversation. I went to scoop some rice, and a black woman with blue highlights yelled, “no, no, no. This isn’t self serve baby, I was talking.” had never been spoken to or treated like that at any kind of food service establishment, let alone a public place. Nonetheless, I smiled and shrugged it off. As it was just one woman who made the experience very unenjoyable, I will NOT be coming back.

Very good food and very diverse.

Friendly folks and a large choice of dishes.
Memo is one of the better dining halls on campus, having a decent variety of food and being relatively quiet most of the time. Hours of service are a plus, Memo tends to be open when others are not. The staff are warm and welcoming. The deli is a solid option. Pizza, salad bar, and bistro are decent. The infamous "flying saucer" and nacho bar are permanent fixtures. If you're not getting soup and/or warm chocolate chip cookies you're doing Memo wrong.
In my idea, this is the best dining hall at Baylor with more healthy and diverse food options. However, the only drawback is the limited space, which occasionally results in overcrowding.

If you're coming for a Flying Saucer or you like food that's been sitting out for hours and is lukewarm at best, this is the place for you!

Its really tough this year happy new year 2020 everybody just remember if you get you work done you should be all good
Service people there have always been SO RUDE. Don’t talk to you, and when they do, they are condescending and treat you less than human. They need to fix this.
My friend went in for a quesadilla, she was given barely a sprinkle of cheese, potato’s in her chicken? And a half a tsp of quac. Then the lady preceded to burn one side and not cook the other. My friend decided to get the pizza instead after not being able to eat the quesadilla and the dough on the pizza was raw. Suffice to say we deserve better than this. Since week one product has gone down hill, but we are being charged the same. Do NOT come to memo for anything besides cookies.
